I’ve never bothered to write a review for online before but don’t want anyone to have to deal with the headache I did. One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. quality) I would certainly expect better service.

- 04/03/26 Ordered 3 x dresses from Nookie on 4th March which should be dispatched within 24 hours and 1-2 days shipping per their website.

- 10/03/26 got an email that 1/3 dresses has been shipped

- 12/03/26 Received a package on 12th March with only one dress.

- 16/03/26 submit return request for Dress 1

- 19/03/26 I emailed asking for an update on the other 2 x dresses advising my event would be soon and they may not arrive in time now

- 20/03/26 emailed for update on return request as it was nearing end of return window and asked for update on items not shipped after 2+ weeks (order number in the email)

- 23/03/26 received response from Nookie asking for all information that I already infused in the online return request to be restated in the email, nothing addressing the missing items

- 23/03/26 sent details requested and asked again around the outstanding items

- 23/03/26 received refund approval and was sent a for that also had to be printed and filled in to be included in return, nothing addressing the missing items

- 23/03/26 responded asking for the 4th time for an update on the missing items, no response

- 26/03/26 sent 5th email asking for update on missing items

- 27/03/26 received a response addressed to someone else’s name saying they’re sorry they weren’t sent urgently as expected and the order has been escalated to their dispatch team

- 27/03/26 received another email saying the items were out of stock but would I like another style instead or they could refund

- 27/03/26 requested refund for missing items

- 28/03/26 refund processed

- 07/04/26 my return was marked by auspost as delivered - 24/04/26 emailed following up on refund as package was delivered but no email or refund received

- 28/04/26 was asked to provide evidence of delivery which I sent same day

- 29/04/26 they agreed to refund

material of the dress feels heavy and of high quality, the hem of the dress appears strong and well stitched. The fit of the dress is extremely flattering as well. Would rate my experience with Nookie 10/10.

DO NOT PURCHASE – DO NOT BUY: these stories are all too similar. Ignored emails, no shipment, no follow ups. Do not answer phone calls at all. There is no communication and website inventory is wrong. If you really want a nookie dress, purchase from A wholesale rather than going direct. I can be sure your experience will be better. My order was in limbo for a total of 9 days, and if I had not complained, It would have never shipped. My dress is on its way, will arrive after my event, and the only reimbursement they offered was a 10% discount. They are a joke.

Bad workmanship for price – I ordered 2 x Queen Jackets one after the other that both arrived with small holes in the back. The third one was better but not great. $600. I purposely wanted Nookie as I wore one of their dresses a few years ago for my hens which I loved. Probably won't buy off them again for my next important occasion. My friend purchased a similar tweed outfit from Shein and even though the material isn't as good the stitching was better!

Took my money but lost order and they don't reply to messages - $300 lost! – Placed my order and they took money from my account. However no order confirmation received and no dress received. Have tried multiple times to contact them with no success.

I would give 0 stars if I could – Their site states that if you order before 3pm, orders will be dispatched that day. Ball Dress Heaven – I was struggling to find a dress for my school ball, I wanted something different and Nookie had just that, I got the Mon Cheri white two piece, it was a pre order item which was fine and I paid for express shipping total cost: $536, arrived a few days early and I was so pleased! had not options to find another outfit as I spent $335.00 already, I tried to make the best of the situation and took the top to a tailor. It did not fit well trying to adjust it down 2 sizes. It was a disaster. I could not wear the top and had to wear an old outfit and my night was ruined. I was so sad and disappointed. Customer service rep [name removed] was not helpful at all. I exchanged 12 emails with her, she spun me in circles, had me send in photos. Admitted it was their fault and the only resolution she offered me was a 30 dollar reimbursement for the unsuccessful attempt to tailor. I felt I should have been refunded for the top or sent the proper size at no charge. $365.00 dollars down the drain and a very loyal customer lost. I will never order or recommend them to anyone and will be sharing my experience with everyone and anyone so this doesn't happen to anyone else. Shame on them.

emailed about this issue and was told there is no issue. After several condescending back and forth emails, to requested return. Sadly I never received a reply back.

Unfortunately I probably won’t be shopping with them again. 200$ is too expensive to pay for their mistake. I would even be reasonable if they had offered a solution. However nookies refusal to offer any solution was disheartening.

Runs small but still a winner – Bought a dress the other month and it was lovely, the colour was beautiful and i got so many compliments. They do seem to run a bit small but i just exchanged for the next size up and it was perfect.

deceiving. And in my opinion, along with others on these reviews the quality is terrible I regret not reading these reviews before making the purchase. I called and told a girl there would be delay in posting back as I was going on a holiday and purchased for the holiday. And that I wasn’t happy with quality she apologised and said we will refund them. Around 3 weeks later I sent them as I was on holiday and started a new job. Which it was outside of the specified time frame on the website. Although Legally no one can refuse you because of “time frame” for issues such as manufacturers faults and poor quality, you can find this info on the Accc website. Which I sent screen shots to them also, but they did refuse a refund and argued with me about it over several emails back and forth, responding very condescending and rude. I was entitled to a refund because of poor quality. And Spoke to the ACCC the advised that I could take them to VCAT and sounds like a quality issue. Still no budge from them, And I was forced into taking a credit note for $259.00 to purchase more terrible quality items, given no other choice at all. I was going to take them to VCAT small claims court over there poor quality, which they were happy in going also and didn’t seem to care about going to court, even though they seem to have a few thing on the website that didn’t match up with consumer laws. Such as NO refund on Sale items. According to Accc you can be given a refund on sale items also. But I decided not to take them over not wanting to deal with this unprofessional company anymore and wasting my time. They do not care about return business. Positive reviews or the reputation of the business. Only about scamming customers for poor quality and over priced items!! Worst experience I’ve ever had. Which is sad. I ended up purchasing a jump suit with the credit note, again terrible fabric and fit looks nothing like the picture and my body is very similar to the size of the models. It’s now going to sit there or end up at the op shop 1 year down the track. I also had to pay for shipping again! Even though shipping over a certain amount is free for some reason as soon as you enter the credit note number it charged shipping. My Advice is be very weary.

Quality – I just love nookie clothing and swimwear. Detailed workmanship and design quality materials. I have a bikini and a few dresses everyone always comments l just ordered another bookie jumpsuit. Stunning and comfortable 10/10 love it

My favourite brand – Just want to say how amazing these dresses are !! I just wore it to my formal and won best dressed !! Such good quality can't wait to wear it again!!!

was an impulse buy and not for a scheduled event, so I didn't kick up a fuss about this assuming it may be a postal problem (upon questioning other buyers though apparently they are known for being very slow in sending orders...def not a good choice for anything you want ASAP!).

Upon receiving the dress and being VERY unsatisfied with it upon opening, I asked for a refund.

Oh boy.

Their customer service is disgusting, and the girl I spoke to was incredibly and unnecessarily rude. She literally ranted about nookies status or some nonsense and then insisted I was not eligible for a refund because I had opened the packaging (which was ridiculous, and done so without viewing the dress that I never wore).

Horrible Quality – Ordered a dress for $250 and when it arrived was horrible quality, I was expecting a lot better. Material looks cheap and tacky. You can get much better for your money...

DONT DELIVER WHAT THEY PROMISE – I ordered a dress and paid $200 plus postage for it only to be told it would come a week after my event. Nearly 3 weeks after this I still haven't received the dress that was on backorder or my money back. If they are unable to provide the product when they say they will, they need to pay people's money back, POOR customer service.
