Car went in at 7.50 am, they needed it on sight to recalibrate the sensors. First ready at 3, then 3.45. Went to pick it up and not done at 4. Reason, windscreen was done in the morning, one person “tried” recalibrating the windscreen in the morning, couldn’t do it. So it then sat there for 5-6 hours because they couldn’t be bothered getting back… Read more

to it. Finally got in it. They didn’t put my $1200 dash cam back on, went back in. They came and put it on. Now it doesn’t work at all. Complaint straight through to insurance company who sent me to them. Will never let Novas touch my car ever again. The individual who “tried” to celebrate it got foul for being called out on bad excuses. They also took it for a 6 minute drive while i was standing there waiting. 6 minutes at $3.89.9 a litre. Not impressed. No regard for client time or loss of wages because they have to have it “all day” because of the 10 minute calibration. What a joke of a place.

I was referred here by RAC Insurance and had my windscreen replaced last Wednesday. Over the weekend, when it rained, I noticed my wipers weren’t working properly. I left the car with them for over 5 hours, yet they didn’t properly inspect or diagnose the problem. After all that time, they simply said they had checked the cameras and hadn’t… Read more

touched the wiper motors, even though that’s clearly causing the issue.

They denied there was any problem without even looking at it properly, and their choice of words and attitude while explaining things were very unprofessional. I had to take my car to a mechanic at my own expense, who didn’t even touch the windscreen, fearing it might crack it, but recorded a video clearly showing that during the replacement, they likely pushed the screen too hard, moving a clamp underneath that is now touching the wiper motor and causing the noise.

The lack of responsibility and poor work ethics are unacceptable. I expected much better, especially from a business recommended through RAC. Would not recommend them at all.

They charged me $195 to repair a cracked windscreen. Granted they said they couldn’t guaranteed the job because the length was around 8 inches. The cracked extended the very day after the repair. I would advise buying the glass repair from Amazon at $13. I feel completely ripped off by going to novus glass. Show details

Best service you could ask for and beyond – I needed the rear window of a van replaced following the close encounter between it and an overhanging branch. The branch won and I was left with a gaping hole and a pile of shattered glass. I rang Novus and spoke to Dan in Logan who took all my details and said he'd call me back with a time to call over and repair, which he did within an hour or… Read more

so advising that they wouldn't be able to fit the glass until the next day due to lack of stock. I agreed to this. This afternoon I received a call from Levi advising that they could do it this afternoon if they had access to it. I had fortunately driven it home so Levi immediately organised to have it repaired at my property. At about 15minutes before they arrived I received a text with a tracker showing where they were via gps and how long it would take to get to me which allowed me to wait outside just as they were pulling up. I was met by Aaron and Tristan from Gold Coast, who after assessing the situation advised it would take approximately 20 minutes to replace. Upon completion I went downstairs to meet with them again, they had removed the fragments of glass in and around the back door of the van and replaced the glass to the rear door. The service and follow up with these guys today was second to none. I feel that they went the extra mile to provide a service that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking glass replacement/ repairs. I would definitely use there services again. Rob Peeni

Horrible Experience – I had a shattered rear windscreen. I booked a mobile repair with Novus Glass Nerang as it is against the law to drive a car in QLD with a cracked windscreen. The repair was pretty rough; you could see the silicone blowing out around the sides of the windscreen and they forgot to connect the demister. When I contacted the owner / manager I was told… Read more

I had to bring the car into their workshop. I had to take a day off from work to take the car into their workshop then had the owner tell me I was just being “picky” and “just don’t look too hard”. He told me that if I wanted a factory finish I should have brought the car into their workshop. He told me that he regularly encourages his customers to break the law and drive with broken windscreens. I then overheard him complaining about me to his worker. Not once did he apologise for not connecting the demister and having to bring the car back. I took the car to a competitor who was shocked at the poor workmanship. Disgusting!

Fautless service, great price ( i think) – I recently had the windscreen of my 1994 Nissan Navara replaced by Novus. A crack had been getting longer and I finally set about getting it repaired. After reading reviews ( a bit mixed but mostly favourable) it seemed that Novus were consistently cheaper than the competition. I suspected a bit of rust under the top of the windscreen and so called… Read more

Novus and asked if the window could be taken out one day and replaced another and was there any extra cost? No problem and no extra cost. total price; $290. I didn't bother with any other quotes and am sure this was a bargain. One of their repairers took the window out. Rust was a bit worse than I would have liked. I set about grinding, sandblasting , treating, priming and painting the area and a bit over a week later a second installer came and fitted the new windscreen. It seems perfect, no issues. $290 for two visits, a good amount of time and the actual glass has to be a good buy. They arrived when they said they would, seemed professional and with a good work ethic. Can't ask for more than that.

Novus at Longreach wasn't particularly interested in doing a crack repair and quoted $135 but I had 2 craks repaired in Mt Isa Novus for or that price, wouldn't recommend this place for anything...my opinion!

Honest tradies, good price and good service – I had a stone-chip on my car's windscreen which developed into a full length crack one very frosty morning. I finally was able to book my car in for a replacement windscreen. It's only a plain old fashioned non-sensor screen, so I wasn't expecting to have to spend a fortune. I rang a company in Bayswater who told me they could do the job (with… Read more

me driving to them) for $725. The mobile option isn't an option when you live out in the boondocks. When I screeched a bit at the cost he came down to $580, and after a bit more expressions of pain on my part he offered $515, and then gave me a final bare bones offer of $478. At this point I was pretty uncomfortable, so said I'd call them back.

Then I called Novus Windscreens in Mitcham. They quoted $325. What a difference! He was able to fit me in for the next day and so now I have a lovely new windscreen without breaking the bank. I highly recommend Novus.
