I read a report from some professors at RMIT University about double glazing and sustainability and then I sent a set of questions to Leith from Nu Eco and the other double glazing company that I was considering. Leith gave a very detailed but understandable response to my questions. He also helped me through the difficult process of getting Owner’s Corp approval for my project. His assistance was invaluable Whilst awaiting installation I had a change in financial circumstances and had to ask for the installation to be postponed. Stephanie spoke to the GM of Nu Eco and this extension was approved. Absolutely no pressure was applied to me during this difficult time. Andy foresaw and solved issues before they arose. efficient. Nice, personable guys too. They left no mess at all. The windows look really good. And despite having two tradie son in laws, who both told us we were mad and should have gone to Rylux for aluminium frames - We stuck to our guns and wanted British manufactured uPVC frames (We are ex pats and had uPVC windows and doors in our house in the UK and loved them) We were not disappointed. The frames, door and windows all look and perform perfectly. The house is so much warmer now in the winter and it’s so quiet inside (we opted for the maximum acoustic reduction units) The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is because, as mentioned, we did have a number of issues (4) with the double glazed units (cracked or faulty) - which we were told was because of the huge backlog in installations and the fact that the units were piled up in the factory. Nevertheless, quality control at the glass factory (here in Australia) wasn’t the best. Nu Eco never quibbled though. In fact, they pointed out 2 quite minor flaws that would likely have taken us a long time to spot (if ever) and the guys came back on several occasions to replace the faulty units. We are all good now and everything looks fantastic. My tradie son-in-laws are both blown away with how good they look. We’d have no hesitation in recommending Nu Eco windows (in fact we already have)

It was a pleasure to watch the installion team working and supporting each other, explaining the locking mechanisms to us and doing an extremely good job, plus a meticulous clean each day. Absolutely obsessed with our windows. We had the entire 1950's house re-fitted and it has made a huge difference to the heating/cooling and noise reduction. they use those in Europe during cold winters and they do a great job at insulating, what more do I need to say... Far superior to metal and even timber. The difference in acoustics inside the room is noticeable immediately after change. Wouldn't look at anything else other than PVC windows when it comes to double glazing. Also the installers take care to fill the wall cavity around the window frame with foam to ensure the thermal and acoustic performance around the window is not compromised. Apparently other companies dont necessarily do that.

Excellent service from Nu eco windows- Adam was a standout with his knowledge, and had great design ideas, friendly and professional to deal with. Installation went well and the job from start to finish was outstanding. Highly recommend this company.

Very happy with the way my order from my eco was handled from assessment of my requirement to the time frame and cost. Everything went to plan the installation as planned with so little disruption to my living and now I have a beautiful new window that adds to the look and function of my home. A great quality window from a professional business – The quality of the windows is excellent and superior to the Ecostar product (we previously used Ecostar to update some of our windows). Leith was professional and did not use pressure sales tactics—there were no ridiculous discounts offered for signing up on the spot like those employed by Ecostar. The only disappointment was the quality of the timber surrounds, which required a significant amount of work before being painted.

Brilliant windows – The double glazed windows perform better than I could have ever expected. The tilt and turn function allows the air to travel creating air movement (hot air rises and can actually escape to the outside when open). It's like having a see-through brick wall, not a gaping hole like my old windows which let all the inside heat escape in winter and stops much of the heat from even entering the house in summer. Great Service – The installation team is very professional, friendly and arrived on time. During the installation, it was found the window hinges were incorrectly and the installation team quickly ordered the new hinges from UK. The parts arrived a few months later and the old hinges were replaced with no issues.

Fantastic product – Update. The look and feel is great. Sound reduction is amazing, saving $100 month on energy cost. Should have done it a long time ago. windows have made a great difference to the temperature within the house leading to energy savings. The windows are also sound proof. I would recommend Nueco to anyone requiring their windows changed.

So far living up to theory – Only seeing last of summer heat, house temp seems more stable. Much brighter inside with bigger windows. Hoping for a warmer winter, only the bills will tell. Very thorough install, very tidy, clean. No issues with sales or delivery.
