l have purchased a business TV for home use by mistake not knowing there is any difference.
the ordered TV arrived quickly. but most importantly returning the TV set was hassle free experience with understanding and helpful staff.

TERRIBLE, just wonted some business cards, -- Did not provide any samples, refused to print them, and forced me to do online - Very lazy - do not used them..! Better to go to -- snap printing --
Appalling service - NEVER, EVER answer their phone
I have tried to call several stores over a period of three weeks. Despite calling over two dozen times at various times of the day/week, I have yet to have a single call from two different stores answered. I went into one of the stores and they told me their phone was broken. That was over three weeks ago and they are still not answering today. I tried another call and got exactly the same result. Eventually I tried a third store, and they miraculously answered. They told me they rarely answer their phone either as they are too busy. There is n...othing wrong with the phones, they simply choose not to answer! Seriously? They think this is OK. Their website blames covid for why they don't answer their phones (so this is a known issue). Completely over the excuse of Covid. It is nothing more than a cop out. Only reason I call is that the stock levels online are also wrong. Too many times the online stock levels show stock in store, but when I go in store, they have zero stock. Two simple issues, both easy to resolve, yet Office Works seems more than OK to do nothing about either.
Students do not have the right to print our books
Students do not have the right to print our books as it turns out that copyright is illegal.
I understand that it is illegal to make copies and sell them but it should not be illegal to print a document for which you have already paid and therefore have obtained it legally.
The result in my last 3 months has been to lose money in the Office works and on top of that nobody has returned my money to me.
I first asked for two documents and had no problem. With the third party that I also asked for it online when I went to the store they told me that they were not going to print it because of copyright and that if I wanted my money back I should ask for it myself ... they have kept the money.
They Don't Want Consumers to Know - Safety Issue
I've tried to leave a review two different times on the actually Officeworks website, about this item that has safety concerns. They refuse my reviews both times. It's a matter of safety.
I have since taken the item back but I still feel like others should know.
This reading portable laptop table shows a drink sitting on the desk. The desk is easily collapsable when sitting on a soft surface like a lounge or a bed. There are no locks on the legs to prevent collapse. Hot drinks will spill and burn the user. Their advertisement shows this is ...a possible use with the table. Also the part of the table that raises and lowers serves is a safety hazard for small fingers. I put a piece of paper there between for safe keeping and it acted as a sharp paper cutter. Not entirely safe in the wrong or uninformed hands. I have since returned the item for a full refund though Officeworks refuses to let me leave a review there. I felt others should be informed.

I don't know why, but Officeworks Richmond VIC never answer their phone when you call them and when it does ring for 4 minutes, it will disconnect. I have sat here today for 45mins recalling the number for no one to answer.
The sales assistant forgot to update a delivery address, so now I have received a call and text from StarTrek explaining that they are delivering an item purchased to the wrong address. When the sales assistant assured me that it would be re-directed to the store so they could personally post it to the right address. I cann...ot contact them to confirm that this is true after receiving calls and messages from Startrek because they won't answer their phone. So who knows if I'll get my package or if it's sitting out in the open for anyone to pick up? Ridiculous service and terrible customer support.

Rude/Passive Aggressive employees at Office Work
Went into this store on Sunday, 7 March 2021, with my young daughter. Choose my article went to the pay point. Had the young male teller demand me to pass the article to him to pay. Once I greeted him he responded uncivil and looked away as did so. Once I had paid I said thank you again he looked away and responded uncivilly. I noted he was agitated and passive aggressive in his tone and gestures. I then returned once I noted I had been overcharged. I happen to see him. He raised his voice and disrespectfully to go stand in the queue. ...Once I ignored his attitude and tried to find a duty manager to highlight his employee's passive aggressive and disrespectful tone and actions. I unfortunately found another unhelpful colleague who did not care or bother to call the duty to manager, although have a communication system to do so. I encouraged this colleague to get me the duty manager but instead got the response. Ha Ha ha knowing that he was playing amateur psychology. I immediately went on a calm walk and found the duty manager approaching the teller point. I explained the attitude of the young man and told him I found it very concerning that such attitude and lack of respect is exercised towards me as the paying customer. I emailed customer service on the 9 March 2021. I got no response and about a week later I phoned and check if the email was received which was confirmed as received. I mentioned that a simple acknowledgement of receipt would be good practise. I was assured that someone at customer service would email me which never happened. I am calling out the disrespect of these two employees, I did not pay extra for bad service specifically to disrespect and passive aggressive attitude by the young man specifically. My young daughter was scared by the young teller's demeanour and I had to assure her she was safe with me. It was not the norm to behave to customer in such a bad way. As there has not been a response to my detailed email do I presume that the store appreciates their customer to receive such "service". I will not ever set my feet on site but shape up. Customers have a choice and supplying products does not cut the grade for good service only.

Nobody ever picks up the phone at any Officeworks
I have a theory. The phones in officeworks stores are generally left on silent so nobody ever picks up the phone unless you're lucky and someone just happened to be passing the phone and sees the flashing light.
Tested my theory at 3 stores (North Ryde, Chatswood and North Sydney). Walked into the store stood at the counter and rang the store's number. Get the automated menu and select the option. Rings on my phone continuously but not a hint of a phone ringing in the store. Staff smiling and helpful in person but obviously answering phone calls is not part of the training.
Excellent Customer Service
I visited our local Mackay Officeworks last week looking for cables and leads for my computer. I was serviced by Clint who was so helpful and friendly. He took me straight to what I needed and he took me through what I needed to do with the items that I purchased. I was so impressed with his customer service. I will be back!!! Thank you Clint.
Great Customer Services at Jandakot Branch
Yesterday I went to Officeworks Jandakot to print out some files and buy some items. The service was superb. Staff I met were helpful and polite. I found everything I need. Well done Officeworks, for your Customer Services improvement.
Great greeter but no customer service once inside
Asked the greeter for laminating price but she said i'd have to ask at the print shop. The customer ahead of me was served by a staff member who came from another area of the store. 2 employees sat behind a desk and talked, one picked up a sheet of paper, walked from behind the desk, stood and talked, walked back behind the desk, sat down and continued to talk. Both glanced in my direction several times but did not acknowledge me in any way. I waited for 10 minutes and then left the store. Disgusting customer service - or lack of.
Obviously these employees need more/better training and obviously are not concerned with keeping their jobs.
Reminds me of another large store that has muscled out smaller retailers.
Horrible customer service experience
I visited the Liverpool branch today 28th February at around 1.10 pm to buy some supplies for work. I lined up and waited to be served after waiting awhile to be served on the floor as there were only 2 staff on the floor assisting other customers. There were 7 people behind the counters 2 of which were serving customers the other 5 had their backs to the line up and only 2 were on the floor helping with customer enquiries. I made my way to the counter where a staff member by the name of Ghulam was serving. I asked for some assistance with reac...hing an item that was too high for me to reach Ghulam did not say a word at all no acknowledgement that he had heard me he approached a team member with their back to the counter to help me. Upon my return to the counter to pay for all my items including the item that I could not reach still no acknowledgement from Ghulam after I thanked him for his help only a grunt and rolling of the eyes was his response. As far as I am concerned I will be advising all my contacts to buy their supplies from elsewhere and to avoid Liverpool Officeworks as this is now the normal level of customer service when Ghulam is serving. I am disgusted with this behaviour. Is there no performance planning for the customer service staff?
Rude customer service
Store staff are as rude to each other as they are to staff. Inexperience shows with products and customers. Another Wesfarmers corporate jerk. Store manager sent me to the call centre, call centre was useful, they wouldn't answer the call centres phone call. Pointless! Wouldn't honour the replacement faulty handset.

We were waiting in line to be served in Officeworks Preston Customer not click and collecting deliberately goes in the click and collect line jumping the queue that customer was not there to click and collect staff member Lana sees and allows this continues to serve the customer even though customer was not click and collecting then another customer does the same to the same staff member now staff member Lana has 2 people infront of her doing the wrong thing and still serves them

Love the self serve print area
Had no idea what to expect, just had a USB and some email docs to print, and no time and patience. Of course there was a line at the print counter so thought id try my luck at the self serve area and it worked, easily! Scanning a teeny bit exxy but it saved my job so no complaints!

Why doesn’t Officeworks allow refunds back on to Apple Pay????????????
I have several times over the past 6-7 months returned items with a valid receipt at various Officeworks stores in Victoria that I had originally purchased with my virtual Apple Pay (ANZ) Visa on my IPhone. Each and every time when I 'tap" my phone to get the refund the terminal says 'Declined Do Not Honour" the first 2 times this happened I thought something was wrong with my visa card or my account and immediately contacted my bank but was told there was nothing wrong with my account or card and was told it is an issue with the store merchant - Officeworks-. This has now happened 6 times but only with Officeworks other stores no problem refunding to my Apple Pay (ANZ) Visa card. The last time this happened 13/5 Oakleigh Store cashier called manager neither had a clue why it wouldn't refund back on to my Apple Pay Visa ironically I was able to make a purchase at the same register 2 minutes later with the same Apple Pay (ANZ) card.
There is definitely an issue with Officeworks refund system and Apple Pay pathetic that the store managers could not give a toss and this has been going on for over 6 months.
