I have bought a fair number of Olight products and accumulated loyalty points. Unfortunately these points have become almost useless as Olight withdraws items worth aiming to get for my rewards points and instead only offers items that are not even torches. Dodgy dodgy site, get the run around false logins, discount codes dont work, no customer service no contact. Product ok on the surface but geez id hate to try and return it. 1 star is generous.....Brought item 6 days ago item still not sent asked olight Sydney for refund but ain't willing to refund me ,backorder company, but they don't tell the customer there intentions ,once olight had phone contact for transparency now have removed there phone number from the internet ,why is that ? I bought an Array 2 and enjoyed how well it worked. However, after about a year it started playing up. I contacted Olight and sent them a photo of it serial number and a description of what was going wrong. One week later a brand new one turns up at home. Great warranty and service. Will buy more of their products as needs arise.
Decent I guess – Products are decent, but pricing is a little high. The "loyalty" rewards also expire way too quickly. Unlocking any kind of discount and having it last maybe 30 days isn't enough. People aren't buying $100-400 torches monthly

idiot to think that the color i was shown on their website would remain the same even when the was no mention of the fact there was no clear coat over the metal torch to protect the finish. also the torch will not charge properly it has been junk since i first got it , after ringing the company multiple times i keep getting the same rude arrogant person i have ever had the misfortune of dealing with, i have torches that i bought from china that are 100/% better than this garbage and they still work perfectly and at a quarter of the price, my advice is do NOT buy this over priced rubbish.

often use it for squid fishing and need to spotlight squid. The eBay special throws its strong beam to ID squid and fish for over an hour without getting hot or running out of battery. The O light gets too hot to hold almost immediately. The O light recently got stuck in the “on” and “high beam” position and I had to unscrew the end cap to get it to turn off before it melted. Now when I’m going fishing I leave the O light at home and take the $16 eBay special. Also, I paid extra for express shipping and it still took nearly two weeks to get to me. Another package of boat parts I ordered and paid express arrived the next day. Emails asking why it was taking so long (didn’t leave their facility for six days after purchase) just blamed Aus Post. (Aus Post can get 28kg of boat parts to me in less than 24 hours from Sydney, why can’t I get a little flashlight in less than 2 weeks?). Anyone want to buy a faulty O light?
Strange approach to customer service – Made the mistake of setting up an account and putting a couple of items in the Cart. that this is a reminder not a marketing email so I cannot be unsubscribed. I therefore asked them to 'please stop sending emails' - which prompted a response telling me these are automated and they are not CHOOSING (which he decided to add in bold) to send them to me and 'as per my last email they can't be opted out'.
No apology, just a snippy response and clearly blaming me for Olight choosing to send me reminder emails - that I never signed up for ! And no offer to resolve it. Nathan - if Customer Service really is your job, I strongly recommend you find a new job. Absolutely lost our custom - we're now off to buy three Petzl torches.
Overpriced and chargers/batteries will fail – I really wanted to like O-Light but I should have learned my lesson the first time. After less than a month of use my Arkfield Pro just stopped charging. Its my own fault for buying another Olight product. I had a baton pro that I ordered in 2022 and it did exactly the same thing after a few months of use (just stopped charging). I tried to run the returns/refund obstacle course (there was a recall on this model at the time) and had a nameless person curtly inform me that I would need to post it back and they would let me know where to from here.
I followed their instructions to the letter and have heard nothing - I started this process in May 2023. I thought maybe I had just one bad experience/product but no; another torch and another expensive paperweight :(.
Worst company in AU – Don't buy Don't buy Products not like you think and if you want to return or refund they charge you for postage back and RESTOCKING ridiculous I get 2500 lum max it's like 1000 lum and heating, same thing in other site half price In one word it's crap company

Torch is good cable is temporary – They have a proprietary cable that fails early on. I had my first fail in 4 months and the second just over a year so out of warranty time so 0 customer support I recommend purchasing any other similar torch with a typical USB C or similar input Show details
Good torch but many frustating issues makes it not worth it – Solid build and good performance but heats up a lot, switches off at random, but most irritating feature is the back is magnetic (where charger connects to) and if you pick up ANYTHING it shorts the terminals and drains the battery...... Worst product ever purchased – Purchased top of range olight not 3 yrs old and won't charge been kept in box whole time when not being used. Tried a number of times to get in touch with olight to no avail. Left phone messages. Most numbers you can ring are not in use. Would be a zero if I could.

Fantastic Torches – I previously used Led Lenser & Wolf Eye torches. About 9 months ago a work colleague put me onto Olight torches. My daughter & I have a Warrior 3S each. They are the best torches. I use mine for work everyday & we also use them on our small farm. The light throw and brightness is ideal for checking stock at night. Not the best quality products - terrible aftersales service. Avoid at all costs – I purchased a $90 O-pen (pen/LED) along with another compact torch. Was impressed with the light they threw when i first used them. After about 2 months i dropped the O-pen about 1.2m to the ground and the ink insert burst. the light function. I filled out a warranty form, hoping to get a replacement sent out. I was told i would have to send the pen back to them at my own cost and wait upto 6 weeks for a replacement - if they deemed worthy. After i said id rather a refund because i dont want faulty products and was not happy about waiting 6 weeks they offered a prepaid reply stamp - why was this not offered to begin with? They then sent another stock email about the prepaid reply mail which stated replacement not refund, so I clarified that i wanted a refund as previously discussed and the employee told me that 'no one is out to get me.' I just want straight answers not contradicting template emails followed by a smart comment.
I have always used LEDLENSER in my business (wind industry) theyre great tough products and their aftersales service is on point. Cannot say the same for O-light. Avoid them and use LEDLENSER instead. [Name Removed] from O-light; you should consider a new line of work. You are not cut out for a customer service role.

I have never had a problem with the product. I have read that people who have had issues with them, Olight are quick to either replace them or repair them as part of their service. If you want reliability and a quality light source Olight should be your first choice.

~ Contacted OLight Australia Customer Service member Felice (nice lady, very understanding). We were told that AusPost is having delay issues. Felice asked us to contact [Name Removed], (we presumed to be Sales Mgr) to resolve the issue.
~ Contacted [Name Removed] to resolve the order delay issue either by reposting the order or refunding the money paid.
~ [Name Removed] sits (defensively) on his high horse, with a “NOT MY FAULT”, “DON’T CARE”, “TAKE IT or LEAVE IT” attitude, doesn’t bother to understand the Customer issue at hand; denouncing the Customer request for issue resolution - “to Repost the order items which are declared lost by AusPost”.
~ Requested our issue to be escalated to higher management. [Name Removed] mentioned, “unfortunately he is the escalation point(Business Owner)”. (God save us all)

Can't fault them – Was given a seeker 2 as a gift a couple of years ago. It stopped working, so I contacted the guys in Sydney. They told me to send it to them, less than two weeks later I have a replacement in my hands. It's a pity other companies don't have this sort of customer service! As for the torch? Further research showed more questionable issues. The contact page has a phone number, but if you think you can talk to someone forget it. It is just a recorded message about emailing them. The claim about great prices buying at an online store? I wonder. Olight products are also available online at Harvey Norman and other places for the same price as 'buying direct' and I'm sure Harvey's and others make a healthy cut.
