I have a Lancer 15mj. Purchased 2 weeks ago. The heater gas has turned off. This happened when we are not in the room. Is this normal??

Sometimes the heater starts and remains alight, next time it ignites but then cuts out when I release the button. Very frustrating. It has been used only 15 - 20 times.

Have everdure 15mj bought last year, happy with it until the last few days making high pitch whistling noise. Have not moved or done anything to it. Help how do I stop it.

we were given a Lancer Everdure as a gift. This is our second winter and the fan has become incredibly loud. Any insight to what may be wrong Can I fix it myself. Thanks
It probably has dust in it ,you need to clean out the lower and upper vents . For the upper one that has the fan I use a can of air to clear it out . I have a cat that sits at the front of the heater and her hair is sucked into the fan because of this . On the lower inlet vent the grill actually comes off to clean . I hope this helps

you should have your gas heater serviced at lest every 1-2 years and they replace it then I never do that my self
Pilot light turns on, and the gas is coming out of it, but the tiles wont ignite. I dont know whats wrong?

I got a second hand Everdure lancer 25Mj gas heater. It seems working fine, but the flame in the middle does not go off. Is it normal that the flame stays on?
Once lit, the flame stays on the entire time until switched off.
, The fact that its 2nd hand I would have had it serviced before I used it to make sure its all ok to use . I have mine serviced every 2 years .

Yes the flame stays on and so must the fan
Just plugged in our Everdure Lancer Heater for winter but no ignition but fan works. Have given it a clean but still no joy. Any ideas?

Probably the electronic capacitor that generates the high voltage used to create the spark, similar to the old TV s use the high voltage to power the TV screens, also some Ovens use same to light the gas.

sometimes as simple as changing the gas jets, but how much conversion these need, you'd have to ask everdure.
should the pilot light stay on all the time? it is about 5 cm long. I thought it should go off after ignition is established.
No there is no pilot light on this heater
It stays on as long as heater is on, Rinnai is the same.
I have been given one from a friend it's natural gas only but can u get it converted to bottle gas and how old is it.
Yes, most gas appliances can be converted , as the gas jets are different between Natural and LPG . No idea what it would cost but only an Everdure service agent can do it. Get a quote And see if that's suits you. The one I bought was a dud, but yours maybe Ok.
