Why does my Optim Carpet Shampooer start to leak as soon as I clip in the clean water tank that has just been filled? I don't over fill it. I follow the instructions. When I first bought it it didn't do this. I am gentle with electrical appliances.
This product is made with very cheap materials. Mine never worked but it would be more expensive to send it back than the price I paid for it. :(
The little valve at the bottom of the tank gets stuck open if you pull the trigger too hard, remove 4 screws at the panel with the cable on it and free the plunger
I bought an optim shampooed & I've only used it 4 times & today this last time it didn't even wet the carpet but instead my machine smoked out the bedroom. Help
My Optim shampooer never worked, but since I bought it online, it would be costly to return it. :(

It is not spaying water out? It's new never been used
My machine is good at spraying water out and hopeless at sucking it back up. A full tank of clean water can result in 25ml of retrieved dirty water
I would like to know why after i feel up the tank with water the water just comes out with out even turning it on. And my carpets end up drenched.

I am trying to use this second hand Optim a friend gave me. It turns on fine and fan/ sucking in main body seem to be working but doesn't seem to be taking water from the tank/ spraying water out onto carpet. No idea if it will suck up the water if there is any in the carpet.. Any ideas?
You can download the manual for the shampooer, just google it and it will show you how to work it. Are you pressing the trigger to spray and is everything fitted correctly to m ake sure it is sealed properly. Sorry I can't help any further.

Probably squeezing the trigger too much...it will over saturate the carpets. And have a couple of fans at the ready, to dry the area quicker.
