Highly Recommend!!! – My aircon is now working to the capacity it should be now that Trent and his team have reinstalled all new ductwork in the roof as previous installation from another company was not installed properly. was expecting of a $12.5k+ job.

As most of a ducted air conditioning system is up in the roof space, much of it is hidden from view. However, the quality of the work in this area will determine the overall efficiency and performance of the a/c system, as well as potentially affecting other systems and elements of the building.

- Little care, thought or even common-sense has been applied to how the flexible air ducting has been laid through the roof space. Ducting is sitting on top of each another, such that in some cases, the ducting underneath was crushed to almost half its size. Ducting was even sitting right on top of a water valve that needs access for adjustment and maintenance! - The controller/display unit was stuck to the wall with double-sided tape instead of using the supplied mounting bracket. - None of outdoor compressor unit’s four feet were secured in place (not even finger tight) and two of them were actually sitting half over the edge of the mounting plinth. - The installation was performed on a day of inclement weather and quite a few roof tiles needed to be removed to allow the old fan coil unit to be removed and the new one fitted. During the rain showers that fell during the day, no attempt was made to cover the hole in the roof with a tarpaulin or the like, resulting in significant water damage to the ceiling below the hole in the roof. To give credit where it’s due however, a plasterer was organised and paid for by Oregan to repair the damage. - Rubbish was left throughout the roof space - spent duct tape rolls and wrappers, offcuts and scraps of duct tape and scraps of ducting insulation. - When the old outdoor compressor unit was removed, oil was spilt from it all over the mounting plinth and up my driveway. - Old parts, such as the refrigerant line trunking and condensate drain pipe have been re-used even though I paid for all new materials. I don’t have a problem with re-use, if the material is still good (and I haven’t paid for new parts!). However, the reused, 25+ year old PVC condensate drain turned out to have a hairline crack in it, meaning it leaked water, damaging a newly painted ceiling, all of which had to be repaired at my expense.

It is obvious from the standard of workmanship on my a/c system installation, that the installers were not properly supervised and that their only priority was to get the job completed within a day.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Oregan Air Conditioning to anyone looking for quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Very happy with the product and professional customer service from Oregan air conditioning – We had our air conditioning installation done over a year ago, with all the dust from the new development in our area and bushfires I through it was time for a service so I called Greg. He sent Sarkis out the next day, we are extremely happy with the prompt and professional service of this young man. He abided by the COVIDSafe regulations and was extremely polite. I highly recommend this company.

from the DAIKIN unit; most other installers came over, had a 3 minute look around the property & then just gave a price, with no understanding of the actual optimal air conditioning requirements. One product we really are enjoying from Oregan, is the "Fresh Air System". The air is clean & fresh, without needing to power the outdoor compressor; to run the unit, it costs about the same as running 3 or 4 ceiling fans. In our opinion, you just have to purchase this product, with the air conditioning unit you are installing from Oregan Air; you'd be missing out as it's simply amazing! Also, his team are polite, professional & clean up after themselves when the job is done. Couldn't find a speck of dust or piece of rubbish from them. Many thanks, Greg & team. Excellent system, well designed and extremely comfortable – Greg reviewed our house and designed a system that copes easily when outside is 40C, inside a temperature of 24C is easily maintained with no cool draughts from the system, the cool air from the ducts is so gentle.
