have attempted to return the mattress toppers. The website says that returns and refunds are no problem, just email a picture of the clean items, and they will arrange collection. If only that were true.

Weeks and weeks have gone on back-and-forth back-and-forth with Origin saying no we don’t organise collection. You need to do it… And Today finally suggesting that I post it on Facebook marketplace.

This is ridiculous. If you are going to have an advertised returns and refund process stick to it. Don’t say one thing on your website, and then do something else in practice.

There are also no escalation practices, if you attempt to escalate this you just returned back in some kind of ever closed loop with the people that you started with, nor can you actually speak to anybody or take it up with anyone outside of the one support email. Very very frustrating and very very very very very bad customer service.

If you’re looking to upgrade from a cramped single or finally ditch that lumpy old guest bed, I cannot recommend the Origin Hybrid King Single enough. Honestly, I wasn't sure if a "bed-in-a-box" would live up to the hype, but this thing is a total win. Show details

after my king single arrived, I'm sleeping considerably longer, and it has absolutely no problem supporting my 6'2" 117kg. It's pretty faultless so far... It did arrive a few days late, but ...my messed up back and shoulder are much less aggrevating these days. It is the best sleep I've had for over 10 years

Great Mattress for the price. I would say it's a medium firmness - I'm used to sleeping on a much firmer surface (a 5cm mattress topper on the floor). Just for personal preference I would've liked something a little firmer, but I get a good nights sleep on it and honestly can't complain. The delivery was easy, as was the unboxing. I will copy what another reviewer wrote, as it is exactly the same issues which I am having; “ False Advertising – Warning: Misleading Advertising on the Origin Hybrid Mattress (Plush Comfort 2.0) I recently purchased the Origin Hybrid Mattress (Plush Comfort 2.0), and after receiving the delivery today, it was immediately clear that the product is not as advertised. Despite Origin promoting a new model with enhanced features, I was sent what appears to be an older version where I can clearly feel the springs on the sides due to inadequate padding. The bed does not have plush feeling as it should be.

I’ve already raised this issue with their support team and am awaiting their response. In the meantime, I’ve prepared an application to submit to Fair Trading and the ACCC for false advertising.

Well said, and echoes exactly what I am also experiencing. I have also been waiting for all items I ordered to be delivered, including a Queen bed frame, but am getting the runaround with delay after delay.

Either they have some severe production problems which they are unable to address, or possibly they are just plain deceptive. The mattress I received is definitely not the ‘Plush Comfort 2.0’, as it has none of the advertised characteristics. Different day, same issues as reported here and other sites.

They have my money, and I have substandard products which are no comparison to their advert. That’s called THEFT.

Seemingly a very Deceptive and Evasive company, which appears to possibly engage in false and misleading advertising. The best they have done in response is to provide meaningless lip service. As they will no doubt do again in response to this review.

I’m sure Fair Trading and the ACCC are going to be involved. Choice consumer web site may also have something to answer.

I have been monitoring the parcel tracking page, and it was previously showing as having arrived in Sydney depot yesterday morning, but now the status has changed to only just having been loaded for transport from Melbourne this afternoon, a day after it was supposed to have been delivered!! Unbelievable and difficult to contact anyone (parcel company or Origin customer support) for a fast response. Not happy so far, will wait and see what happens...

The mattress is good but the customer service is SO TERRIBLE – To start with they delivered a week late, when the mattress finally arrived it was THE WRONG SIZE. There was significant delay in collecting the incorrect sized mattress which was incredibly inconvenient.

But customer service is impossible to get a hold of someone/get someone to respond.

If you're swinging towards this brand for their "try before you commit" promise, i'd probably shop elsewhere if you want ease of return/service.

We bought an Origin Double mattress a few months ago. We were so happy with the experience when needed a new King single for our son we bought another Origin. It must be a good night's sleep because he gets up on the the 2nd request now instead of the previous 5+ attempts with his old mattress. Show details

We ordered two Origin Hybrid Mattresses (both in King Single size) for our guest room and multiple guests have told us how comfortably they slept. We're extremely happy with our purchase and are happy to provide a comfortable stay for our guests.
