preferred delivery date, as it was the earliest date available at checkout. I was provided with a delivery window of 30 December to 5 January. After not receiving the mattress during this window, I contacted support on 6 January and didn't receive a response until 8 January, when I was informed the product was out of stock at my "local warehouse" and would take another 12 business days to arrive from interstate, giving me the option to cancel if this was not suitable. As I need a new mattress immediately, I informed them I was not willing to wait another 12 business days and gave them an option to organise priority, expedited delivery. As I did not hear back from them 2 days later, I sent a notification that I instead wanted to cancel and receive a full refund. I sent several follow-ups with no response, giving them a deadline of 13 January to confirm my cancellation and refund. On this date, I received notification that the order had been dispatched with an estimated delivery date of 28 January, despite my clear and repeated instructions to cancel my order and provide me with a refund. This is in clear breach of Australian consumer law. I intend to reject the delivery at my door as unsolicited goods, lodge a chargeback dispute through my bank, and source a mattress through a reputable local supplier. I have already submitted a formal complaint through the ACCC and would encourage everyone with similar issues to do the same. Do not believe the mixture of incentivised and AI-written reviews. Origin Mattress Australia cannot be trusted to deliver on their promises.

much cooler and hasn't been a problem. I shift between side sleeping and sleeping on my back. The medium firm feel of this mattress works ok for both. Basically I don't really notice the mattress. Thsi is a good sign, right? If I'm not noticing anything it means I'm comfortable. If I had unlimited funds I probably would have tried the sleeping duck for the adjustable zones which would be nice for side sleeping - softer around the shoulders, firmer around the hips. But this was less than half the price on EOFY sale and does the job. I sleep well, it's supportive and doesn't aggravate my lower back, it's good enough for the job at a great price. According to CHOICE it has excellent longevity so I'm happy. I would have given 4.5 because no adjustable zones, but choosing between 4 & 5 I give it 5 becuase it's such good value.

was getting old. But a new mattress and I'm waking up feeling comfortable and pain free.

Firmness: I expected it to be firmer. It seems medium firmness when you sit on it, but when you weight is distributed on your back or side, it feels like just the right firmness, you don't sink too far in and you don't feel like you're on concrete. I'm 90kg 181cm tall. My partner is 60kg and 169cm tall. We are both side sleepers and we both had lower back pain and shoulder pain on the previous mattress and none on this one. FYI: Our bed base is solid, as I swapped the spring boards to yellow tongue flooring boards years ago. I think mattresses work best on a solid base.

Price: I was concerned about getting a mattress for a 1/3 of the price of my previous mattress, but so far so good. It was about $700 after a discount applied.

Cons: It is a much shorter mattress in height compared to my last and the edges are softer when you sit directly on them but I don't seem to roll out and I sleep right on the edge.

Pros: Really comfortable. It's neither too warm or cold. It holds its shape and my partner and I don't sag in towards each other. No plastic/foam smell.

Would I recommend: Yes. Even if this mattress only lasts 5 years, that's under 40 cents per night or under $3 per week. It's a no brainer value for money. I'm not disappointed with my choice and I did my homework reading reviews and comparing other mattresses.

The second Origin mattress I’ve bought. Bought both when they were on sale, so good value. They have both been great … comfortable, medium firmness so good for side sleepers. Sides are soft which takes a bit of getting used to, but overall a great buy and half the price of the last one I bought which started sagging after 6 months and tossed after 3 years. Show details

Only negative thing is delivery, but can say I'm happy to wait for the mattress now seeing what the results are.

I'd recommend this brand to all that have difficulty sleeping or have back pain issues.

Ordered the origin Lumbar Cloub mattress, put it on the bed and left it for 3 days before sleeping on it. Am so impressed, have Sciatic pain on my left side and have not been able to sleep on that side until now. Paid a lot of money and suppose to have a big discount only to discover that the dip from where you sleep stays dipped. I am in love with my lumbar cloud hybrid mattress! It has been an absolute dream after sleeping on one of the worker memory foam mattresses for the past 2 1/2 years or so. It’s just perfect - not too firm and not too soft. My only criticism was the lack of communication over the shipping. I got no notice it was coming and had to call the courier direct to sort it out. As a coach and somone who's training regularly and intensely a good mattress is essential for my recovery. I've had some of my best nights sleep in years and I used to wake up with a very stiff back on my old one but have had zero issues with this. Would 10/10 recommend.

It's only been a week but I've noticed a marked difference in both my sleep and pain. Mattress was so easy to set up. I have been sleeping on it for a month now and I have noticed that my sleep had significantly improved during this time. 5 March. That’s blatant false advertising. They said I was welcome to cancel my order but when I said to go ahead they said they’d have to confirm cancellation with their delivery team before refunding me. It’s been 3 days now, I’ve got no mattress and no refund. I can’t move into my unit and I can’t order another mattress from a reputable company. Yourself a favour and avoid this sham business. They don’t even have a phone number on their website, glaringly obvious why that is now.

I was replacing my very sagging latex mattress. The origin hybrid is a lot firmer than ive been use to. I have back and shoulder issues i believe it has helped due to the firmness, quality of sleep has improved. Happy with purchase thus far. Show details
