Poor quality for huge price. Lunchbox cost 99 dollars plus 89 dollars extra to have a shoulder strap. It is beyond ridiculous that it was fallen apart after 2 weeks. contacted oroton in regard to 2 of my leather bags so called have torn and no response they asked for photos which i send and nothings happened For a moment i thought i will give them away The. period and suggesting it might be due to normal wear and tear. However, as the photos clearly show, this is not due to wear and tear — the bag has been barely used and carefully handled. Under the Australian Consumer Law, products are expected to be of acceptable quality and last a reasonable amount of time, which this clearly hasn’t. I hope Oroton reviews its approach and supports customers fairly in such cases. Never purchasing from them again

Buyers beware, after a year the whole lining of leather bag malted. It was purchased by a dear friend of mine for my birthday after I started noticing that white bits started showing through the entire lining of the tan colour material.

Disgusted that my 4 month old bag handle snapped and Oroton refused to reimburse me or replace the bag without a receipt. Ridiculous given the bag has a serial number and is clearly from Oroton. Terrible quality and terrible service. Will never own another Oroton product again. Show details

I explained that I don’t live near any of these stores, which is exactly why I ordered online in the first place. Unfortunately, no alternative was offered. The experience has left me very disappointed with both the product quality and the lack of customer support.

communications from the company….no notifications, no thanks, nothing, zero, zilch! Delivery just arrives on the doorstep. The most disappointing thing is OROTON used to also supply good sturdy protective bags to store and protect your bags, but now they supply you with a cheap and nasty mesh looking bag. To sum it up, just a poor shopping experience all around. What a let down. Never again!

I've been a loyal Oroton customer for many years! Purchased a pouch a month ago and went back today and purchased a new pair of beautiful sunglasses. The service was friendly. Not very impressed by the horrible pouch they came in. I loved your hard cover glass cases with the Oroton name on the top! Their glasses are awful quality. Screws have fallen out twice within two months (after getting them fixed in-store) of getting them. Probably because they screw from underneath, as if a child designed them. I paid $564.00. Overall quality has dropped in recent years, shop anywhere else. told the staff I was so disappointed and upset, and that after buying many Oroton bags over the years I don't think I'll buy another one again after this experience. The sales staff was like ok. They could not care less.

The once nice bags and lasting no more. I purchase a bag a year ago and it is falling apart. Even the handle is coming apart. Oroton has said to me it is wear and tear. All I can say I will not purchase another bag from them. They have lost a loyal customer. If you are thinking about purchasing a bag from them think twice. Really? For a brand that positions itself as premium?

This will be the last Oroton product I ever own. The quality clearly isn’t what it used to be, and the customer service is even worse. I’ll be letting others know not to waste their money on poorly made bags with no support behind them.

better longevity from $30 Kmart bags.

When I contacted customer care, I was brushed off with the excuse that it was general use damage and offered a third-party repairer at my own cost. For a brand that claims to value “quality craftsmanship” and stand behind their products, this was incredibly disappointing and frustrating after spending that sort of money.

Even worse, Oroton doesn’t list any clear warranty terms on their website. Instead, they “assess each case individually,” which is clearly just a way deny any responsibility and avoid standing by their products. It feels intentionally deceptive.

Clearly Oroton quality has significantly declined and there is no customer support. Spend your money elsewhere.

Wish I could give a 1. Refund policy misleading. I returned a brand new as packaged online purchase as it didn’t fit all my work items. They refused to refund said I had to get a credit because bag was on sale. What rubbish. Will never purchase this brand again. Show details

Absolutely awful customer service. Returned a faulty bag and was told my options were either store credit or refund. The bag I was returning had gone up in price and I was told that they couldn’t just swap it, so I’ll need to reorder (and pay extra!). hated the experience dealing with Oroton, asked more times than I can count to correspond with somebody higher up, and when that finally happen - boy it horrible. Felt like she spoke to me like I was a bratty child, said she read everything and supported her staff. Their misleading labelling wasn't addressed and didn't matter to them - they said it was a 'warranty' item and my bag was out of warranty! When I buy from a store that advertises its products as 'premium leather' and the item isn't it isn't a warranty item but i hated the way the staff address it. couldn't care less i felt. i got them to cancel my membership after a life-time and haven't shopped their since. never will again - have kept the bag to remind me not to be fooled again!

My general experience with oroton DFO Hendra and Harbour Town Qld stores was always brilliant. Regardless of what a great bargain we were getting the staff would always go out the back to see if there was a wrapped one, not from the floor. Purchasing online is terrible in comparison. Stuff just thrown in, I bought 3 beach towels - one wrapped in tissue inside a plastic bag ... the other 2 just thrown in, not even properly folded ... I would recommend instore purchasing but NEVER online because of continual lower levels of service. But then ... after see how they dealt with my complaint I wouldn't recommend Oroton at all ... don't trust the printed label and don't expect help ... even if you have been a loyal customer for a life-time. My trust is lost.

Misleading website sale stock advertised not actually available – Twice I have ordered sale stock and twice I have been contacted by Oroton to be advised it’s somehow out of stock even though it was advertised as available! Oroton are either terrible at stock management or deliberately misleading customers.

when closed it has the material come away, this is not leather and to see how much it cost is absolutely appalling, I was informed it was a knock off when others at my dinner table noticed the damage as well, I assured them it wasn’t a knock off and was embarrassed to see this when I was dining out with friends to be seen with a damaged handbag, it’s such a classy looking clutch, but not anymore, seeing these reviews has disappointed me knowing they will not exchange it.

Terrible decision – Placed order on line on 3 Dec 24, Passed 5 business days item still in warehouse!!! It’s an Oder I have to push if I have not called i’m sure it’s still seating there, fully understand Black Friday back log. Have not received notification for item to be dispatched. Belt falling apart - Oroton no help – Im really disappointed with the quality of the belt I purchased, I ordered a belt and within months, the coating has come off causing it to become unwearable as it looks haggard. When I contacted Oroton, they quoted their after sale service period had ended and that they could not help me. Poor communication and returns policy – I recently bought a bag from oroton. The shop assistant encouraged me to buy even though I wasn’t completely sure about the size and style. I asked her about the returns policy and she said it was 14 days. After trying at home I decided to return after all only to discover I can’t return only exchange for a credit. There’s nothing else in the shop that suits what I need and I’m stuck with a credit I don’t want. Very unhappy with Oroton.

Quality not there – Oroton used to produce excellent quality leather bags. I have bags purchased 20 years ago which are still beautiful and receive compliments. Two bags I purchased 5 years ago have been binned. Cheap leather with nasty quality hardware. When you approach customer service, the response is "wear and tear". Typical defensive response. Rubbish Quality and terrible customer service!!! – The worst experience, I bought this bag only couple years ago, used it maybe couple times at best. And just took it out and noticed the whole thing peeling! I messaged their customer service and they said its outside of warranty, huh?! company policy. As if this wasn’t enough I was then informed I had a year to use it otherwise I would lose my money. It was paid for why should there be a limited time? Why was I not informed that I could not get a refund? On top of this I go to Chadstone to see what I could buy, two sales assistants sat there talking they did not acknowledge me at all. I walked out very upset.
