a 2 weeks period, I finally got given a case number where they stated they would repair my furniture. Then, the communications stopped again. I tried to email and call over the next 4 months, unfortunately all my emails and calls were ignored.

Not only is the furniture terrible quality, they don't honour their warranty claims either. Don't bother, save yourself future headaches when things go wrong, and look elsewhere

would be a beautiful table - if it was delivered and assembled with half the table CRACKED! and the delivery guys just left without saying a word. who does that? a week later they send a guy out to repair it with a third of the materials he needed - 1 tile to replace 3 that are broken, and they send they would send 4 or 5 just in case - what a waste of a day off work! Show details

years of use and exposure to outdoor elements.'

These chairs cost thousands and were under cover the whole time. Of course they are exposed to the elements, they are outdoor chairs! Take a look at the photos, you make up your own mind if this discolouring looks natural to you. Just putting this here to help others considering forking out thousands for something that wont last the test of time.

Christmas, I was told that the tabletop was delayed due to stock being stuck at the docks. Then, miraculously, it arrived—only to be the wrong colour!

2️⃣ Chairs Delayed – After resolving the tabletop issue, I was then told the chairs were delayed due to stock issues.

3️⃣ Cushions Debacle – Originally, there were no cushion stock issues. Suddenly, I was told they were delayed until early January.

4️⃣ More Lies – In January, I was finally told the cushions had arrived—but I had to pick them up myself. When I did, I noticed the cushions were wrapped in plastic labelled ‘Osmen Artarmon Stock’. I immediately suspected these were display stock. I directly asked the sales rep, Max, if I was being given floor stock. He looked me in the eyes and blatantly lied, saying they were new from the warehouse.

5️⃣ Caught in the Lie – I called Osmen Artarmon and they confirmed it was display stock, which had been sent to Belrose as the last available set in Sydney. When confronted, Max continued to lie until he finally snapped, rudely stating that I could return them but would be charged a warehouse fee.

Absolutely disgraceful service.

This company’s sales tactics are shady at best and outright dishonest at worst—delaying every part of the order, possibly prioritizing customers who would pay more, and lying about stock availability.

Final insult? The table, despite its looks, feels cheap. The extendable section doesn’t even lock properly, leaving it loose and unstable. For $5,000, I expected far better quality and service.

❌ Lied to at every stage ❌ No accountability ❌ No honesty ❌ Zero respect for customers

I will never purchase from Osmen Furniture again, and I highly recommend others avoid them at all costs. If you value honesty and quality service, go elsewhere.

Excellent lounge and customer service – We bought the Boston 4 piece outdoor setting. Vicki provided amazing customer service, arranged prompt delivery and looked after us so well. The lounge is soooo comfortable!! We love it.

from the service team saying they need more time to investigate, including speaking to the manufacturer and checking how the table was packaged. However, they did not provide me with a specific timeline for a solution.

I don’t believe this should delay a replacement. I paid for a new, undamaged item and expect to receive one. I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of timely customer service and the absence of clear communication from Osemen.

table in the store that we ordered. What’s more is the lady in the store said to us they only have that colour in that product range. So they have no idea what they are selling. Further, the table leg arrived scratched and the cushion covers had orange discolouration through it. Completely unacceptable for the price we paid. We have attempted to engage with customer service who said they had to consider all factors and took two weeks to respond to us. I don’t know what factors there are to consider but they Finally they offered us a $200 store credit at their store and told us to dry clean the pillow case at our own cost! So in other words they tried to get us to spend more money at their store and spend our money to fix their defective product. I have never experienced anything like that. When we didn’t accept their proposal and instead asked for a discount and a replacement cushion cover they responded saying no but they will refund what we paid if we deliver the goods back but that we had to incur the original and new delivery cost. Again they are telling us we have to pay for a defective and incorrect product! Naturally we rejected that and merely asked for a replacement cushion cover. In other words an entirely reasonable and appropriate request. The lady in the store wants nothing to do with it and we continue to wait on customer service. I would highly recommend against purchasing from Osmen as others have suggested. We will be lodging a complaint with fair trading.

Incorrect item delivered – I recently ordered some furniture through Osmen, unfortunately my experience has not been positive. Firstly, an incorrect item was delivered and then after a few weeks they informed me they could not supply the item. It took multiple emails and over 2.5 months for them to collect the incorrectly delivered and I am still waiting a refund.

Angela insists the dearer white chair is a nicer design and dearer!! Not much to choose from that was in stock so we bought a small side table for the other end of the long balcony and swapped the chairs and paid more money. Delivery arrives. As the table is a specific narrow design it only fits slim designed chairs on the ends. Guess what—— the new chair design is wide and so two chairs are useless. Furious I emailed Angela immediately and customer service. Angela called spewing abuse saying it wasn’t her fault and wouldn’t let me or my husband speak so we had to hang up on her. Emailed and called customer service for a week and none answered the phone or returned emailed. The table was also faulty so needed it replaced. On a side note Angela told us our choices were Italian made but the boxes said made in China!!! Finally I rang another number by fluke and found a person who organised a new table which should arrive today but as for the chairs she said a decision hasn’t been made. I asked if I could swap the 2 that don’t fit for the 2 original choices and we would wait for the next delivery. Please beware as customer service seems non existent and no one has apologised for our abuse from Angela. Will we get 2 chairs that we can actually use or have we lost $500 plus on 2 useless Italian ( made in China) chairs???? Time will tell

Terrible customer service – Terrible customer service. Twice now I have taken time off to wait for a delivery which has never happened, when calling to check what is happening have been told sorry not in stock. I have been out of pocket since Oct 2023 and still have to wait for them to take a look at my case and issue a refund. Do not recommend!

that we were so let down, never receiving our order in time for Christmas and a garden full of guests! She gave instructions to head office and the warehouse to deliver, but all to no avail. She called and messaged me numerous times when she was on annual leave trying to get it right for us. The furniture eventually arrived late January but we were still missing our side tables. And again, [Name Removed] went above and beyond - 2 days ago she arrived at our house in an Uber to personally deliver the tables!!! so bad, we are in litigation with them currently – We put a deposit on outdoor settings only days later to realize that they will not fit in our courtyard. They want to keep 20 per cent of our deposit. Would never buy off them.

False advertising – If I could give Osmen zero I would. Ordered chairs that I needed urgently for a rental property with tenants going in. At no stage on the website did they say it was a back order item. Now telling me the product is at least 6 or more weeks away after chasing them up. False advertising on their website. Such poor quality and disappointing refusal to replace or repair within warranty – I’m so disappointed in Osmen. I wish I’d purchased a cheaper Bunnings set. Please, learn from my mistake and avoid purchasing from Osmen. My outdoor teak table and chairs were almost $4,000 and the table split in multiple places within a few weeks. so I’m concerned about stability risk. Clearly a bad batch. I asked Osmen to fix, replace, or refund the set and they refused, saying I hadn’t looked after it. This was untrue. I had applied wood protector and it sits next to other teak furniture which is much older and fine. Osmen wouldn’t tell me what they believe I had done but they did offer me $100 voucher.

I went to the Office of Fair Trading and they raised it with Osmen who refused to respond. My next course of action is a tribunal NCAT. Such a waste of time and energy.
