ship was delayed leaving port, but arrived within the estimate I had been given. Jacqueline was particularly helpful when it came to understanding customs and quarrantine requirements, and communicating with their officials.
The delivery driver arrived promptly and unloaded every package with professionalism, courtesy, and care. He was extremely prompt and very cheerful despite being burdened with the task of unloading everything solo, up and down a long driveway.
I would definitely use OSS in the future.
Efficient! – Move Manager Jacqueline addressed my queries promptly. OSS has a great system and I was well informed of my shipment that has arrived. Also, am impressed with the two men who managed to unpack my boxes/furniture (1 full load big container) in an hour! Actually am still surprised shipment delivered fast despite that my shipment moved during the december-january holidays. It was only 4 weeks from Singapore to Melbourne. Hats off to you guys!
Move from Melbourne OZ to Northern Ireland – We needed a 20 foot container for our move. The staff at the office were top of class. The 2 men who came to our home to pack our belongings were the best workers and so careful with our furniture and household items. All arrived in good condition and were delivered by a team of 3. We were able to check the location of our shipment and it arrived right on time. Our experience with OSS has been great and reliable and good value for money.

follow the vessel online and see the location. Then when it arrived in Sydney, even a little bit before, I was immediately contacted to prepare the administrative documents and inspection appointments were booked (delays for the inspections, but not a surprise here). Then the delivery (finally! :-) ) plan was well prepared as I sent pictures (stairs to 2nd-floor - I paid an extra for that), the communication was good again and the team of 3 guys who deliver was super nice, helpful, and efficient. My personal effects were in good condition, with a few small damages, but nothing serious and it's hard to get nothing damaged in a protracted process like this one (particularly because during the customs inspection some boxes are opened). I suspect that one box is missing, not sure because I can recall only 2 small items missing. I contacted my OSS point of contact, and they are checking it. Again, nothing major here and unfortunately some errors of inventory was done at the departure in Montreal. So, this may explain the issue in the end.
Globally very satisfied and happy to have my things here. Yes, it's long and pricy currently, but it's a question of personal choice in the end.

Our boxes and car arrived safely and in the same exact condition 3 months later in Cyprus. I have to admit OSS has a slightly higher price tag than the rest in the market but the difference definitely worths it! Well done OSS and thank you once again!

removalists on the OSS side were quite good, professional and packed up the house rather quickly.
There were some unfortunate concerns post arrival in Canada, however these seem to have been with the receiving company. These concerns were addressed by our OSS contact quickly and effectively.
In regards to our belongings, only a single glass item was damaged, given it was glass sent by sea over a several month journey, we understand this can happen. We did take out insurance just incase prior to departure, and are awaiting claim response so can't comment on this aspect. Our other belongings were quite well packed and didn't have damage. We were allowed to keep the shipping boxes for our kids to play with.
I would highlight that when we raised our concern with OSS, we received replies from several team members, all of whom seemed to empathize with us and act to expedite a resolution. Which is a sign of a good business in my personal opinion.
Clear communication as to when to expect the shipment, which was on time. Hassle free, didn't need to anything except open the front door to let them in. Very professional.

BEWARE! We shipped household furniture back to Indonesia. We paid A$12k for door-to-door service. Once in Indonesia OSS passes off the logistics to its "partner" company AGS Indonesia who sent us ANOTHER invoice for A$3k which they claimed was for local port charges, storage and truck delivery in order to get our furniture delivered. complained to OSS they pointed to their small print about "extra charges" being likely at the destination. Essentially, OSS passes off responsibility once they have got your money and does not care what happens at the destination. This business practice means OSS does not get involved in the corruption, extortion and 25% "extra costs" customers experience at the destination. We have moved across continents and countries for work multiple times and have used other global shipping companies and never encountered this practice before, we pay the quote and the shipping is delivered door-to-door. There should not be 25% extra charges if the "worldwide mover" handles everything smoothly. Our advice is AVOID this company and choose another global shipping operator.
Very unhappy customer – Relocated overseas. My items were poorly repacked. Leather shoes and bags squashed in boxes causing creases on the leather. Some shoes, the left and right pair packed in different boxes. They inflated the volume by unnecessarily use lots of butchers papers. Items not packed in categories, i.e. things all over the place. The worst company we could have picked – We moved a year and a half ago from Australia to Italy. The process was smooth up until we payed, after that it became a horrible experience. communication by the shipping team until we prompted them and followed up (sales team said shipping was going to take 2 months, we received our boxes more than 5 months later). The company they used in The Netherlands sent a poor overworked, overtired mover who didn't tell us he was going to be late, then called at 11pm wanting to unload 5 cubic metre of stuff, then told us he was coming at 6am?! and ended up arriving at 11am because he slept in! He unloaded everything so quickly I didn't have a chance to check the boxes. After one day we realised 5 of them are missing and we contact them immediately. Not only we've been completely ignored and told we were wrong but also the insurance claim we filed for the missing boxes and broken items was 100% dismissed. The worst company ever, we won't ever use them ever again.

sometimes things can’t go according to schedule and that there are delays involved occasionally. The move is over a long distance and as stated above no it did not finish on time.
We moved from Melbourne to Christchurch NZ, and used OSS movers for the first time. Have done quite a few shifts over the years and OSS were the best I've come across. Very easy to deal with, packers were quick and professional on the day, communication was easy and straightforward, and everything arrived in good order without delays. Would definitely recommend.

same as our original quotation, despite their guarantee that they would only charge for final collected volume. We also felt little effort had been made by packers to minimise volume (see photo examples incl. entire boxes for empty wooden cube shelves).
2. Time: 5.5 months door-to-door, more than two months in Melbourne waiting to be shipped. At one stage we were told it was due to leave at the beginning of May, and when we followed up after that date we were told it would be yet another 5 weeks before departure. They make no promises but should be more transparent with estimates. It took 24 weeks, double the 9-13 estimate.
3. Carelessness packing: Non-removable castor wheels were snapped off two heaters to fit them in (oversized) box. Dresses packed in the bottom of a clothing box with random photo frames, candles, wooden boxes thrown on top. Leather hand bags folded and squashed, picture frames misshapen, and books bent with spines warped, covers folded over. All only evident after arrival as we obviously didn’t supervise packing. A large frame individually packed also broke (these things are bound to happen) but it left us further out of pocket as not worth insurance claim.
On the positive side, we found response and communication was always good and kitchen items were really well packed - 0 breakages with a lot of small fragile items.

lots of minor rips, crushed and torn items. We were not unpacked to a surface level as stated on our quote and acceptance and attempts to engage OSS and Transworld with this have not gone anywhere. I feel it is a breach of contract since I did not get the service I paid for. Instead we did all the unpacking bar the beds and had to deal with the packing and boxes until the team could come around again a week later to collect. This varies greatly from what was promised. Tim from Transworld in particular was difficult to deal with in his communication manner while our container was delayed a number of weeks. The vehicle also has significant damage to the wheels, gouges with yellow flecks which we assume is how they braced the car in the container. Again, no one is replying to us about this and I have emailed [Name Removed] at Transworld and [Name Removed] the Brisbane Branch Manager.
