Excellent customer service from.the staff at Hoppers Crossing. From the minute we walked in the door. There was no pressure. We were offered services for delivery etc, without the hard sell. Went back again for another purchase. Again great customer service and prices. We bought a tiered floor lamp. Has worked for 12 months but all of a sudden it flickers all the time, may turn on very dim or not turn on at all. No abnormal use as used sparingly in a formal room. Customer care cannot be contacted and no call back and no support to fix or replace. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend ever purchasing from them if no support for faulty products worth over $500. Very poor! Show details
As a property stylist we update our stock regularly and every time we use a piece from Oz Design it looks amazing! The staff are very helpful at getting the stock quickly for us and keeping us updated along the way. I recently bought a gorgeous art piece for my own home and the delivery service was exceptional. This is the third piece of Oz Furniture that I have bought. Have always been very happy with my purchases and dealing with staff at the Penrith store. My three pieces are the same ‘Jacob’ and certainly match but colour in the photos tends to show different to this. Show reply
I was a little bit hesitant in the beginning reading some online comments about design. However, there were more positive than negative experiences. Personally, I am very happy with the purchase, the furniture (buffet table) came in very well protected! The whole piece was beautiful, not like those cheap feelings. It’s sturdy, high quality. We went into the outlet store which was very disappointing at the quality of furniture on sale, lots of broken items at quite high prices. So we left and visited castle hill store where we found a style we liked and asked about package deals but as the items we wanted were already on a good sale they wouldn’t offer anything not even free delivery… Read more · 1
or free upgraded delivery so we decided to buy the 2 book cases and 2 buffet cabinets online instead. The website has really good measurements of not just the outside but also the shelve heights etc so it was very informative. Will be back to pick out some new bedroom furniture in the near future.
We bought a Charles buffet to match our Charles dining table. We think it would be good if there was an option to have some drawers in the buffet instead of only a single shelf. As a result we had to a shelf section and retrofit 3 drawers to one end of the cabinet. matches nicely with my dining furniture. The drawers are solid and well made they glide well when opening and close firmly. The buffet has a quality feel and look about it. The customer service was also great as you would expect from a retailer like Oz Design. I have no hesitation in recommending any of my friends to consider Oz Design for any of their furnishing needs.

Follow-up · Quality is good, two years later. It's modern, but sort of art deco style. It fits in very well with my mix of vintage, antiques, mid-century and modern furniture and decor. There were other tables in the range and other tables but they were too big for me.
Simple and easy transaction. We bought the last floor stock on clearance on a Sunday and it was delivered on the Tuesday. Polite and helpful staff, including the delivery people. I found the perfect bed, at this store, but then it went downhill. Firstly was the two week delivery, when it was only coming from Sydney. When it arrived two of the side rails were broken. We were told, that we had to submit a 'claim', and they couldn't do anymore than that. So we went to the store, first sales person we spoke to, didn't care… Read more
whatsoever. Alex was helpful, but we were making suggestions of what we wanted, he didn't have any. Told us a replacement would be another two weeks. I said, our bed arrived broken, you should be getting a replacement in the next day or so, as you have our money, and it arrived broken. Was told by Alex, no they only deliver to Marion store from Sydney fortnightly?? I said, you can freight one, we have two family members who are in logistics, that confirmed to me to send it overnight would be $200 to $300 max. But no they won't do that, husband said can we get another style of bed quicker. We were shown two, both of which were not only horrid, but we would have had to pay them more money for it! I requested a refund, to be told that would take 2 or 3 weeks to see the funds in our bank account. We then asked for the floor stock bed, Alex said he would check to see if that is okay with the manager, that they don't do that. That was approved and we received the bed, and a $199 refund. What an absolute farcical experience. NEVER AGAIN.

Buyer beware!!! Advertised as high quality — that is not what we received, and more concerning is the complete lack of integrity in how it's been handled. normal use, the fabric was pilling across multiple areas. OZ Design's written response was not to acknowledge a quality issue, admit to pilling and the solution is for me to purchase a de-pilling machine to maintain it. On a couch that cost nearly $2,000. Pilling was never disclosed at point of sale.
When I lodged a formal claim with Oz Design, they proposed their technician to inspect that couch and then bill me $150 for the privilege. That is not an independent assessment.
OZ Design's position, in writing, is that pilling after five weeks is acceptable. That is not my definition of quality, and I suspect it won't be yours either.
I wish I could add photos as they speak for themselves. They will not honour what they can avoid as under the ACCC pilling and quality is sadly subjective. I encourage you to shop elsewhere!
