Great experience ordering and assembling cabinets for laundry – The website was straight forward to use, though it's important to read the directions carefully. I measured and checked everything about 4 or more times and it was worth it because I caught a few mistakes. In the end the cabinets arrived as expected and there were no major issues with assembly. Worst customer service ever! Multiple errors – A 12 week job turned into 36 weeks - over 8 months before I got what I ordered! Multiple errors by this company, with no apologies or compensation offered. And the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered - they never proactively contacted me, I had to chase constantly. I highly recommend you DON’T USE! Laundry cupboard flatpack – Re - Oz flatpacks laundry cupboard (2200mm H by 900mm W by 550mm deep). Staff were most helpful in assisting me to get the correct layout for our Laundry cupboard. The various components were accurately machined and posed no major problems in assembly. Didnt send all the pieces to complete the job. Worst customer service ever – I purchased some cupboards to go in my butlers pantry. I asked for 700 wide and some internal drawers. They made the internal drawers only 625 wide! When I asked why, they said that it was normal. Apparently they don't make the drawers so you just put the rails straight onto the melamine side. SCREW along the rail between the wall of the cupboard and the drawer rail.

They refused to supply the spacers because I hadn't ordered the front doors to the cupboard. They said I could buy them at an extra $1.50 each plus postage (I needed 60 spacers for the 8 drawers).

How they can supply the cupboard, and the drawers to fit in the cupboard, but not the part which attaches the drawers into the cupboard is beyond me.

There were no instructions provided on how to put things together. All in all it was a totally unprofessional approach. Very unhelpful and ridiculous hidden costs - dont use them!

Good products, delivered with damage – Relatively easy ordering process. Order was delayed a couple of months due to Covid. Crates arrived with multiple forklift tine punctures that damaged several cabinet panels. Great quality, easy to assemble, zero defects – I purchased two cabinets for my laundry. I assembled and installed myself. I was very happy with them. The quality and accuracy of the machining was excellent. I did not find a single flaw. One project was very complicated, but Rod (many thanks) stuck with me and gave advise on how to fix the design and it worked a treat. The panels are accurate, easy to assemble and good quality. Supply an excellent product – I have used Oz Flat Packs for a kitchen, dining cabinet, entry cabinet, two wardrobe internals, a laundry and vanity on the Gold Coast and a kitchen, laundry, WIR and two cupboard internals in Melbourne. immediately. I have been very happy with the results and will continue to use them. Some knowledge is definitely required, your design has to include everything and, because the dimensions of the product are true, you must ensure your measure and design match the space you have.

Missing panels – The order process was straightforward and easy to complete. Quality control is poor as two of the main back panels where missing as well as the white caps screw caps. gives the buyer access to the ordering program, in doing so, passes on the liability for any mistakes. But the problem is no professional is checking your order against the diagram of what you need. Thats ok as I have a far bit of experience ordering kitchens, but it may be a concern if you are new, it is easy to forget about where panels are necessary for example. Anyway I was happy initially, the email responses were prompt. But after doing a final check to my plans, I noticed a number of corrections were necessary. When I resubmitted the quotes for validation I was ignored. I sent emails asking for responses, and stating I would like to have the quotes validated so I could pay a deposit, those also were ignored. Whether this was passive aggressive behaviour due to irritation by Rod that I needed to resubmit my quotes, or weather it is just the normal pass this company works at, I could not say. Given that I was being ignored so early in the process I thought I should read some reviews. I can see that ignoring customers is a common complaint with this company. Reading reviews I discovered many clients complained of delays in email responses and also delays in the production of the products ordered. I found it very suspicious that almost negative review on this site, is followed by a glowingly positive review. Anyway the best part is, my time was not wasted, I have a copy of my order and it is now very easy to send that to other companies to get more quotes. My advise is be careful, as custom service is obviously not high in this companies priorities.

Exactly what we wanted - and quick – We needed custom sized cupboards for an L shaped walk in robe. We were able to easily design what we needed and order process for straight forward. had to say, agreed that this was not ideal but assured me it would handled, and put me through to Rod. Rod refused to accept that I could have submitted a quote and not received a confirmation email; he actually stated that this was not possible and that I must not know how to use the website properly. He also stated that he could see that there was only one saved quote, supporting my claim to have submitted one and saved the other. I requested he reset my password so I could log in to view my quote history, which after multiple requests he did, however he refused to listen to the issue I was having with the website. His preference to argue his point rather than be solution focused showed me that this would be a difficult company to deal with should there be any issues with ordering or delivery. As a company based in the ACT and I am located in another state this was a big red flag. I thanked Rod for his time and will take my business to a local carpenter. I recommend anyone living outside the ACT also look locally.

Fantastic website backed by great service and support – The website is really easy to use and has answers to almost every question. Great quality job and great service – Thanks to Rod and the team at OzFlatPacks (OFP) we now have very slick looking new laundry cabinets. OFP provided a high quality job with a very efficient service - easy to use ordering process and a good delivery process. The cabinets were easy to assemble and assembled perfectly. Fit perfectly - looks great – The design process was checked and verified by their staff to conform with manufacturing standards. It took a while to get exact dimensions, but when you see the finished products in place, it is well worth the effort.  Show reply

Beware if you've got a small order – You'll put in all this effort on their website to define exactly the dimensions and materials you want, and then they'll send you a form email with this text: "Sorry, your quote that you are wanting is not an economically viable job for us to manufacture...." http://www.ozflatpacks.com.au/content/998/min-qty/ Pity they don't tell you this BEFORE they waste your time....

I decided to give Oz Flat Packs another go and the second time round, I was very happy. I received my goods within about 2 weeks. Second time around, putting everything together was even easier and faster. Again I was very happy with the quality of both the carcasses and hardware supplied.

If you are after custom-sized cupboards, I would recommend using Oz Flat Packs. Their online software is pretty easy to use and if you're not sure about something you can message Oz Flat Packs for some advice.

I have always communicated with Oz Flat Packs using email and I have found that this has worked well in the past. I have found Rod to be really helpful and informative.

No worries, D.I.Y – The online design system is easy to navigate and helpful. Design plans can be changed if necessary. No problems following the D.I.Y written instructions, plus there are photos too.Prompt replies to email and phone enquiries, very helpful. Very happy with the end product and the customer service.

now nothing from them. Great business idea that is really let down by lack of contact. Here's a tip. if you don't look after your customers, soon you won't have a business. I'll be contacting consumer affairs on Monday to get my deposit back. Very disappointed. How can you run a business like this? Answer: you can't - you won't survive if you treat your customers this way.

Reconsider dealing with this company – I certainly experienced delays in communicating with this company and found the website non user friendly. I finalised my order in October 2016, paid the deposit and it is the 16th Jan 2017 and I still haven't received received the order. They claimed a 6 week turnaround, I have been waiting twice that time.

Why won't they reply? – I want to order stuff from them. I've submitted the specification. I have money ready to spend. Yet they won't respond. Emails go unanswered. It's a strange way to do business.

"these are great quality they're going to last us forever". Which I think is what you want from a flatpack system. Oh yes, also the best priced units I could find anywhere (avoiding ikea and bunnings units as friends had had bad experiences with both - also more expensive for what we wanted and couldn't match our kitchen colour the way ozflatpacks can)

The only downside is that the ordering system is a little complicated and it's not completely clear if your order is confirmed or not - but I believe they are going to change some of the wording to fix that; so all in all highly recommended.
