Have we not learnt anything about data breaches and the need to only collect the required information. I wanted to book two tickets to a local band so to purchaces these tickets they wanted way too much information. DOB which would be checked at the door, Last Name seems an over step, address for etickets. They didn't get the sale. Show details

Their ticket protection is a joke. I paid for it as we have two family members in and out of hospital and not doing well and didn’t know if we would be able to make the show we had tickets for. One family member died and we have to go interstate for the funeral on the weekend of the show. The claim was knocked back because it’s an uncle and that’s… Read more

not immediate family. We are now out of pocket for the tickets, the ticket protection and have nothing to show for it. Disgusting.

Would give a negative review if I could. I paid $204.64 for an event, which they then cancelled and only refunded me $66. They’re literally charging me for a non existent event.

RIP OFF - DO NOT REFUND FULL AMOUNT – The absolute worst. Show cancelled. T&Cs state they’d refund within 7-15 business days. 15 business days lapsed and still no refund, so I had to chase it up myself. Oztix argued they don’t issue the refund directly and suggested I contact the promoter. When the refund confirmation email arrived, it was for less than the original purchase price… Read more

(they retained 20% of the purchase price - I’ve never received a partial refund for any purchase I have made, when I have received absolutely nothing in return!).

Would NEVER use this rubbish company again and do not recommend to anyone. In fact, strongly discourage anyone from using Oztix unless you are prepared lose money (for nothing, because when a show is cancelled you get NOTHING) then get screwed around chasing a refund yourself, only to be met with excuses. Would rate zero stars if possible.

Very disappointing experience – I would like to make a present for my 16 years old son. I bought 3 tickets on his favourite metal band’s performance the Gloryhammer including tickets for myself and my partner. Unfortunately, I was focused on the date of performance and didn’t see that I bought tickets to the 18+ venue. So, I spent $234 including refund insurance and realised we… Read more

cannot attend the performance because of my son’s age. I found another venue where the band will perform and asked customer service to change the ticket to another venue. They answered me that it’s impossible and there is only option for me is to try to sell the tickets by myself. Guys, you like to get money from the customers, try to put a little bit more effort to help them also. Refund will not work for me also because there are few options including sickness or death, not any mistake. Please don’t buy tickets through third-party agents like Oztix. You should call your company as a Oztricks…

Dodgy company. Simply just don't ever use them. Refused to refund a wrong ticket purchased immediately after within 5 minutes of mistake. Went to their office in Brisbane and they said they would be in contact with me and once they got rid of me I never heard from them again. Show details

Follow-up  · They refused to refund At their office they sad they would be in contact with me but they lied and I never heard from them After no contact I vowed I would never buy another concert ticket ever again from anybody

Absolutely do not use this company. Absolutely do not use this company. I always thought they were reputable. Paid $90 for two tickets and I paid an extra $10 for ‘extra cover’. Bought tickets for Jungle Giants DJ set. Only one member of the band showed as rest of the band were hungover from the night before. The one DJ was absolutely crap to the point of punters walking out and she didn't play any Jungle Giants songs. No announcement until the end of the gig that Jungle Giants ( plural) weren't showing. Oztix didn't want to know. $100 for 2 tickets to a band that didn't show. Will be avoiding OZTIX from now on!!

I Recently purchased a ticket and attended a music event and the show was postponed 1.5 hrs which was acceptable, however tried calling the Hotel several times throughout the day to check if there was a support band due to time constraints but no answer which was not acceptable. Turned out there was an unadvertised support act which delayed the… Read more

main show further. This became an extremely late night then. All bands and times should be advertised to allow people to make an informed decision regards ticket purchase due to time frames. This should not be allowed as it is obviously a way of having people attend early for drinks. I shall be contacting Oztix regarding this matter.

Have bought tickets through OzTix twice, both events got cancelled and OzTix both times pocketed money off of admin fees. The first event they made like $70 on admin fees and second event another $10- seems like they only way they are operational is off of keeping admin fees. Will literally never be purchasing tickets for any event again if it's powered through OzTix. Show details

Bought tickets through Oztix, then the show was postponed to a date I couldn't make due to a cyclone. The band refunded their part of the ticket, but Oztix kept their part. It's not much money for me, but it adds up for all the people missing out, so Oztix will be doing well by not refunding fees. If you buy something faulty from Amazon or… Read more

eBay they give you a full refund without skimming off their costs. This is the same and if the show does not go ahead as planned, the full ticket price should refunded.

Wish we had a choice for these ticket agencies, but they always have a monopoly for whichever show they sell tickets.

Was charged for registered post yet never received tickets post tracking says pending. Because tickets never arrived I didnt attend show. Oztix are refusing to refund stating that i should have attended show and my name would have been on the door list… why charge people for $10 on top of ticket price and not post tickets. It’s a rort.

Event was cancelled and they only refunded part of what I paid, keeping fees for a service that never happened. Dishonest and unfair. Spend your money elsewhere.

Purchased some tickets to attend a circus with the family. I made a mistake and had to add another person. I contacted them directly by phone only to be told to put my request in writing, so i did. I took out ticket insurance when buying Todd Rundgren ticket for Melbourne show on 6th March 2025. I was unable to attend due to a medical condition. On trying to submit my refund claim I was amazed when asked for proof of medical condition I.e., a doctors certificate. I provided proof but still was not given a response and refund. Beware, this "insurance" is a total con. Show details

Avoid at all costs – Avoid Oztix at all costs! We purchased tickets for the Lenny Pearce Kids Rave at Everglades, Woy Woy, for a 3 PM session—only to find out that the session never existed. Now, Oztix is refusing to refund us, leaving us no choice but to escalate the matter to Fair Trading to get our money back. Their customer service has been disgraceful—they won’t even respond to our messages. Beware before purchasing!

Poor General Ticket Sale Process – No tickets were made available for an advertised general sale for a concert. Only after wasting time waiting for the general sale, did we find out it sold out at presale?! Pointless. The band clarified the latter themselves on their own social media (approx 24hrs after). There was countless people left bemused by the poor organisation and process online. The concert should have not been advertised for general sale.

Shocking support – Shocking support, Oztix is an absolute joke and bordering on a scam. Attempting to change to dates of tickets purchased, should be a fairly easy process but there is NO support whatsoever via their "support" phone line, email of FB messenger. Don't deal with these people, you have been warned!

Dodgy practices – Oztix had the Enter Shikari Gig at SOOKI lounge. Seeing as I can't get to Knotfest and these guys have been my all time favorite Band forever I was glad they had a local gig nearby. Poor experience – Bought tickets but then the act I paid to see pulled out of the event. Contacted oztix to get a refund but was told tickets are non refundable and only refunded if the event organiser wishes to do so. Disgusting business practices taking peoples money and not delivering the artist. They didn't even message me to tell me the artist pulled out, I had to find out by googling online.

Terrible – Incompetent been waiting 3weeks for my tickets. Paid 10 bucks for registered post for 2 tickets still waiting. Supposedly the email receipt is good enough to use but I shouldn't have to worry about not getting in to the event if they don't except. Why not send them in an email for myself to print out with a scan code

The Worst – Unfortunately, no option for zero star. The artist has rescheduled the concert from December to March via an Instagram story.
