Beware!!! I ended up buying two mozzie zappers and signing up to an ongoing subscription I have no idea how it happened. I was interested to read similar feedback from others. I intended buying one mozzie zapper. The product is pathetic the subscription was infuriating. As far as the reference to ‘Ozzie’, pretty sure it only refers to a market that is being targeted. mozzie works well. No longer do we get bitten by mosquitos when watching Tv or in bed. Simply follow the procedure. Darkened small room and keep the item no higher than 50cm.

moved to fulfilment stage (after half hour and on a Sunday). After reveiving these I tried one of them for 2 weeks at various spots around my home and have not caught any mozzies, couple of moths and that's it. The customer service is a joke to non existent. Don't buy from them.

UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL POST: 14th Jan 2026. After my post I was contacted by the companies customer service finally. After investigating they did offer me a full credit on these items. They also offered my a $50 store credit which I have declined. Although I will not buy from them again, they did do the right thing in the end, just unfortunate it took this for it to happen. They advised that the company is going through new ownership, if true hopefully things might improve.

TBH the experience did not start well and I'm not a fan of their website, as it pushes upsell from so many angles. Upshot was that I ended up with a much larger order than I expected. process you’re lead into is joining a membership which you get charged for monthly and seemingly get nothing for it. Ive had $405.89 deducted from my PayPal account and asked for a refund of which I’ve received $47 and a promise of more but the merchant has now gone silent There was an offer on 13/1/2026 of $325.92 and a promise of prompt settlement but it’s gone quiet I’ve asked several times for a return address as the goods are in the original packaging ready to return but Ive not received anything During the process ive had correspondence with Frank,Anjelica, Elu, Cindy and Ray I’m extremely disappointed with the treatment by this company and warn people I believe them to be scammers of the worst kind

Purchased 4 units. None do the job. Received emails from company how to use e.g at night for best results, this mainly attracts moths not mosquitoes. And I require units to work in daylight hours while I'm working in the area. I have tried to return and get refund, emailed 7.12.25 and 13.1.26, no reply how to return. The product is mediocre and in essence doesn't work. The bigger issue though is the unauthorised automatic monthly payment of $47 that the company set up without explicit consent after the initial purchase. Don't purchase anything from this company. Show details

Love this Zapper. It’s small and so convenient for travel! I took it away for a week’s holiday and it was fantastic. This time of year in South East Queensland brings all the bugs and mozzies out and we were inundated when we sat outside. Pulled out the Ozzie Mozzie Zapper and wow! It worked so well. looked VERY MUCH like I hadn't completed my purchase as it was showing me a cheaper deal and had further large buttons to click to actually add on to the previous purchase. I was confused and so checked my account to see if the purchase had gone through which it had.. But for $40 more than what I thought it was going to cost.. So I went back to the previous screen again and realised that the page had autoticked the options of expedited shipping for an extra $14 as well as autoticked the option for extended warranty for$7.99 per unit! These SHOULD NOT be automatically ticked. Very deceiving. Of course I should have done a more thorough check before clicking purchase, however was not expecting this from an Aussie brand. The product had better be amazing when it arrives (in express shipping).

goods did not arrive until nearly two weeks later, even though payment was processed immediately. The entire process was frustrating and felt deliberately confusing. The website design and checkout flow are misleading, requiring multiple screens and failing to clearly display the items being purchased. This lack of transparency resulted in additional charges for products I never wanted. I initially believed I was purchasing five items for $249 AUD, yet I was charged $304.89 USD. The discrepancy and unclear pricing suggest deceptive practices. Offering a 30% discount as a resolution is inadequate and does not address the underlying issue. I am extremely disappointed and expected better standards of honesty and fairness. This experience has left me questioning the integrity of the company, and I will be reporting this matter to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

added another FIVE zappers. I emailed customer support immediately (genuinely within minutes) and was told that my order has already been shipped. I was then told I would receive a partial refund for the inconvenience. After following up with their customer support team several times, I am yet to receive it. It’s almost been a year. Still no sign of that refund. Oh, and to top it all off, they didn’t even work, so I am stuck with over $180 of faulty product with no way of getting my money back. Very disappointing for an “Australian” company.
