guessed it might have been punctured by a nail and was slowly leaking air. So I went to a gas station to inflate it, wanting to see if the leak persisted.

Two days later, that evening, I came home from work, and my wife said, "Look at the car tires, they're flat. I only drove a few hundred meters this afternoon when I noticed something was wrong with the car, and then I saw the tire was flat, so I rushed home."

I took a flashlight and checked the tire; it was completely flat.

The next morning, I removed the flat tire and replaced it with the spare. When I removed the spare tire, I found that the inner sidewall was completely worn down, exposing the steel wires. I was truly shocked!

I had no idea what had happened.

So, on September 15, 2026, I drove to Ozzy Tyres Fyshwick to find out what was wrong.

I showed my receipt and asked one of the employees, and he came out to check the worn tire. I asked him what had happened. He was very rude and aggressive, like a thug.

He said, "You didn't do wheel alignment, or dynamic tire balancing."

I said, "You should have done dynamic balancing for me when you replaced the tire."

He said, "You didn't do it because it wasn't on the invoice."

I said, "If you didn't, you should at least have reminded me so I could go to other repair shops to do it. But you didn't remind me at all."

Before I could finish, this menacing employee said, "Wheel alignment costs over 100 dollars and it wasn't on your invoice."

I thought, "It's not like I can't afford it. How am I supposed to know I need it if you didn't say so?"

He said, "It's been over a year. Who knows what happened back then? Maybe after six months, your car's frame and suspension developed problems, causing the tire wear." He rudely questioned me about which auto repair shop I had my car serviced at, and that they should have done dynamic balancing. He kept going on and on, rudely questioning me again and again, as if I am a criminal. It looked like he was about to hit me.

I felt like I couldn't breathe. My heart was pounding.

I quickly jumped into my car and drove away.

This is a terrifying and chilling life experience.

On my way out, I was thinking that the Minerva tires themselves might be of acceptable quality. However, the service from the sales staff was terrible!! They were just tire sellers; their technical skills were completely unprofessional, and their service was indescribably bad.

Ozzy is not Aussie because Aussies are known for being friendly, polite,and kind but they are not like that. Maybe I was misled.

To avoid disrupting my work schedule, I wanted to get my car repaired as soon as possible. On September 16th, I had both front tires replaced at a repair shop in Mitchell.

I asked the mechanics to check if there were any suspension issues, as this could cause severe wear on the front tires. After a thorough inspection, they told me everything was fine and there were no problems. Finally, they replaced both tires and performed a four-wheel alignment. The whole process was very professional.

After replacing the tires, I continued to ponder what could have caused the severe wear on the inside of my two front tires, exposing the steel wires.

My car's suspension and chassis are fine; no parts are damaged. Therefore, the tire wear wasn't caused by any parts of my car. If that's the case, the only conclusion I can draw is that the tires themselves are of very poor quality.
