received a letter stating my loan rate was going up, [Name Removed] told me bad luck. Later I wanted my home valued so I could look into getting another home, [Name Removed] convinced me to refinance as he told me it was free and I'd get a lower rate while also getting my house valued. I was wary from my previous experience so I got it in writing that all costs were covered. When I received the contract to refinance, it had a heap of fees, so I got it in writing again from [Name Removed] that they would cover the fees, guess what, I received over $1k of fees that they wouldn't refund. I had to argue with them and only when I told them I'd take it to the ombudsmen, they agreed to cover half the fees, I was still out of pocket and never received a valuation. They also changed my offset account to a redraw, [Name Removed] told me it was the same thing, a year later I found out that it's not the same and has serious tax implications, I tried to change it to an offset, paid the money, 7 weeks later still no offset and they wanted more money. I told myself that as soon as I can get out, I will. I have now changed to a reputable bank at a slightly higher rate. You don't want the problems, cost and constant worry about such a large financial life decision. Never ever again! Stay away!

If I had questions John was always available to answer them and acts in a very professional and timely manner. I was so impressed with the process that I then followed up with an investment loan path. Upon getting my investment loan setup I had the pleasure of dealing with Christine who honestly went above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Christine was informative and more than happy to give answers to multiple difficult items during the process. Christine was completely on the ball with updates and working on my behalf between solicitors, conveyances and agents and turning a stressful process into a breeze.

Beware of this company - aggressive, rude and arrogant – It's pretty rare to encounter sales people who exhibit the horrendous service, explosive aggression and air of arrogance that these people exhibit. I would suggest people are wary of this company because if this is their 'service' during presales, I can only imagine how bad it is after the sale. Beware and stay away – The worst ever experience I have had since my first mortgage application in 2009. They promised low interest and then try to sell more expensive product. The sales representative’s behavior was inappropriate very aggressive and rude. every single day even not related to this service (eg my contacts with Alinta energy or insurance companies etc). Two weeks were completely wasted with these guys. Application was cancelled due to excessive pressure and rude and inappropriate behavior of Sales representative. Upon application cancelation he even demanded to pay “evaluation fee”. Beware and stay away.

Terrible customer service – Terrible customer service over the phone. Extremely rude and unwilling to help. John is an extremely arrogant and difficult person to deal with.

Best broker! – I feel so lucky to have John as my broker. He helped me refinance my home and also investment property. He’s super fast and efficient and always finds the best mortgage deal.
