Average - Grouting Now Being Redone – This review is many years in coming but due to poor workmanship, tiles are now falling off our Palm Pool and we are now paying a tiler to redo the entire pool . During the pool installation and after service the operators were so arrogant and bullish that my parents were just happy to see the back of them. Poor customer service and all round service – This company never returns calls or responds to email. They are quite happy to receive the payment but once they do, you never hear from them again. We had lots of day to day contact with Mitchell and he was particularly helpful in explaining the pros and cons of various decisions that were made along the way. This was well supported by Red's extensive experience of difficult projects.

We have appreciated all the "blood, sweat and tears"- only the sweat was literal, thankfully :) you have endured to create a beautiful pool which we will enjoy for a long time to come.

We love our new pool ! – We purchased a new pool from Palm Pools - signed up in Feb/18 and had a fully complete and operational pool by June/18. Red was great to deal with and had a very detailed understanding of what is required to build a pool on our site. We initially decided to go with Palm Pools as we liked the idea if dealing with a small family operated business. Red, Marilyn and the boys were always quick to respond to emails, return phone calls or come to our site when needed.

All tradesmen that came to site throughout the build were professional, friendly and completed their work to the highest standard.

Palm Pools have transformed our backyard from a dangerous, unusable space to a family friendly oasis. We absolutely love our pool and couldn't be happier with the quality of it!

Paid $16,000 for no work done – This company promised us a speedy start and cheap prices to get us to sign the contract. and terminated the contract. They then demanded us to pay a termination fee of 20% despite not even having lifted a finger to build our pool. We sought legal action. The termination fee was hidden in the fine print of the contract. They were a lot better at litigating than we were and seemed to have done it many times. We ended up being roped in to pay $16,000 to this company. They have not done any work for our pool whatsoever. We feel so absolutely wronged by the company and by the legal system that we're sharing our experience here despite defamation threats by the company so that no one else will have to go through what we went through. coming out,..no-one ever comes out..we have been promised someone will come out to finish the pool every week for over 3 months! Our “pool” is a concrete hole in the ground with no steps, When we asked why our pool has no steps we were told that we were stupid to want steps! Even though steps are what we requested and agreed upon, they just did whatever they wanted and now we are stupid... only stupid thing we have done is to trust these guys to build our pool.

We are now in the process of taking legal action, I will not be more out of pocket because of their lies and lack of ability. I have a long trail of emails that I have saved, I am happy to share these with anyone that wants to see them as proof of the pain we have been put through and how bad these guys are. Future or past customers, reach out to me and I can share what I have.

way has been difficult and the expense has blown out to be 50% more than the contract indicated. The project manager [name removed] was extremely rude and most unhelpful. The only person who did as they said they would, was the office person, [name removed]. It has been a very bad experience.

Absolute Nightmare – Sales pitch was perfect, original quote was a within budget! Time frame they gave me to complete it was a dream! Re-lining of our swimming pool has taken almost a year and not resolved – Plumbing that was sub-contracted is faulty which means may not have the option to put in Solar as agreed. We have not received a response to formally resolve over a two month period. We are not happy with the interior calling of the pool which we payed extra for. Again still unresolved despite multiple phone calls and emails. Customer Service has been appalling inclusive of being yelled at told to go away.

knowledgeable and pushed the small family owned 30 year business. We chose Palm, Pools and Spas and that's where customer service ended. Long story short, emails and calls are not returned. The cost blew out exponentially and they are very quick in wanting their cash. Once the concrete was poured, [Name Removed] the site manager said it had to cure for a month......3 months later after still no contact, I inquired what was happening and when would the pool be lined. By this time it was September 2017. I was asked, "have you put up your pool fences?" "No" says I, "well they have to be up before we can line and fill the pool." I'd expect paying such a large sum of money for a 8m x 4.5metre concrete pool, I would have been informed at the time the concrete was poured that I would require fencing before the next stage. Silly me!!! Even the tradesmen who did attend complained about the pool company, one in particular stating, he had to wait months to be paid and only agreed to do mine as he was told I'd pay him in cash. The concretors used corrugated iron from a shed we had demolished to form up part of the framework for the concrete. In the end myself and my family attended the showroom on no less than 5 occasions to get work completed. You know the 'squeaky wheel" principle. We received excuses that material for the lining coming from Qld, was accidentally sent to Melbourne then took more than a week for it to be re-sent from Melbourne to Sydney. Our pool was commenced in March and was not completed until November and this was only after much complaining and pushing from us.

Some of the reviews I have read here don't reflect the experience I had with their team and customer service standards. It is a family company and you deal with the owner (Red) and his son/wife etc. and they were always available to us.

Amazing beautiful in ground concrete lap pool – I can’t recommend Red from palm pool enough professionalism is the word I would use to discribe palm pools .. this company is fair and reliable it’s a pure pleasure dealing with a true gentleman and work that is of a high standard.. they go above to make sure the customer is treated respect if you are thinking of installing a pool or spa this is the company that you should deal with

Why are they still able to run a business – I wish I purchased an inflatable pool from KMART instead. The sales pitch, the promises and the extra money that I had to pay for supposed extra works was a joke. I hope the [Name Removed] can finally address everyone's problems. impossible to contact, never returned calls if you rang their mobiles and the office was a deadend also as no one was ever available to answer questions on progress etc.

The only time we heard from them was when they wanted money which in most cases was not due to be paid.

From excavation to handover it was a constant uphill battle far from the ease in which they promoted building with them would be.

In my opinion stay well clear!!!

Great Pool, Great Service – Palm Pools rescued me from my builder that was unable to complete my pool. The Boss came out, sat down with me and went through my problems. Chewing broken glass would have been a better experience – This pool builder was aggressive and rude (when you could get a hold of them). They have no idea how to build a pool (the dimensions of our pool are not what we signed off on). was excellent. He explained the process perfectly. The issue is that he was only assigned to manage our project in January 2017. By this time we were at our wits end. This employee no longer works at Palm Pools.

The payment terms were ridiculous. We paid 96% of the total when only 40% of the work was completed. Trying to get them out to finish the job was a nightmare.

attention to the Contract on page 4 (coping details - ticked customer to supply), & page 8 (Rock & Shale excavation - charges were extremely high & it's likely you'll hit rock in Sydney). Without us noticing, on page 10 (ticked "excluded" for every box including fees for cartage & tipping) & page 12 (ticked "yes" for every box) while offhandedly mentioning that we "didn't need to worry about those pages". We've estimated the pool would have cost $20,000 - $25,000 more than the contract price had PP&S completed the pool. Caused us a lot of worry and we had someone else finish our pool in the end. Please do your own research - google his surname and find the links to previous/other pool companies.

Worst building experience ever! – These guys are just interested in money and nothing else. We were bullied and insulted by these guys. Not one bit of advice given even when they knew something would become a problem later on in getting pool signed off. Took 3 times what they quoted time wise and that was only the concrete shell! We ended up having someone else finish our pool. Worst experience with a builder ever.

Worst experience ever – Run by bullies who are only interested in taking money but not completing the work. Most stressful experience of my life. Constantly pressured by supervisor to hand over more money at every step than the agreed price. In the end I had to get another pool company to finish the job.

Unhappy – They are rude , my experience with them has been a living hell . They don't answer your calls or emails but happy to take your money
