Great, does the job – The unit heats and cools to the desired temperature quite quickly. The noise level is tolerable - even when I leave the heater on overnight during winter I can sleep through the night. The remove itself is pretty intuitive to figure out which buttons to press for what functions without referring to the manual.  Show details

Noisy waste of money – Just dont buy Panasonic they are expensive, noisy and second rate. We cant hear the tv when the air conditioning is on. We have Mitsubishi air in the other rooms and they are great. I donf know how Panasonic managed to stuff this up si badly and refuse to take responsibility.

We love it – Have had our unit for 5 summers. It copes beautifully with our 46+ degree heat. We rarely use the heating as we prefer the open fire. The unit has been trouble free which is great for us as we live in an isolated area.

Excellent – I bought this just before the summer heatwave when Harvey Norman was having a sale on inverters and this is worth every cent! I have had no problems with the unit itself or the remote and it is cheaper to use in winter rather than a gas or electric heater and it works so well. The ion inverter side of it refreshes the air so it smells fresh and… Read more

cool and is very good for asthmatics and allergy sufferers. It wasn't expensive to get it installed and I love it that I can preset it on a really hot day for an hour before I get home and it really keeps the house cool. Love it, very quiet, doesn't cost much to run, easy to clean.

High Ceiling Height - Still great heat – We're in a ten foot stud ceiling height house and still this pump offers instant dry heat. Impressed? You Bet. Also, the cooling in summer is fantastic. We enjoy that ability to turn this on instead of lighting the fire if it's just for an hour or so, or even be able to set it for early morning, so it heats up the living area before we're up ! Easy & Fast

Junk! A total waste of money – This split system a/c has been plagued with reliability issues since it was installed. Add to that the poor, no make that disgusting customer service from Panasonic (very arrogant over the phone) and couldn't care less attitude towards their product and you'd be better off leaving the windows open and buying a fan (Not Panasonic!). I absolutely… Read more

hate this airconditioner and hate their products. When I see an advert on TV or some Electrical Salesperson tries to sway me with a hint of this brand I recoil in disgust. I have facebooked and twitted my feelings about this product and company and their products regularly. When a friend or relative asks me about my opinion about any electrical equipment (I'm a tech by trade) I always mention my experience with this brand. Thankfully I've saved a few of my friends from the same experience I have endured. Nothing to like, it doesn't work. Sits on my wall wasting space! It doesn't work, electrical and refridgeration issues, reliably unreliable!

OK – have installed and serviced quite a few of these units they seem like a good unit 1 common fault seems to occur is the indoor fan motor bearing goes and becomes noisy (same motor in the fujitsu asta24lcc)apart from that no problems with this unit reliable, getting warranty parts no problem indoor fan motor bearings fail within 12 months

Terrible – Have not used unit a great deal - only when really needed - hot summer and cold winter days overall, have to consider this unit to be unreliable Main control board failed twice (with same problem) - first time board replaced under warranty, second time just out of warranty. replacement board appears to be a second - has cracks, broken corners,… Read more

and second failure appears to be caused by a burnt out component, raising concerns about fire safety. unit currently disconnected from power.

Panasonic Customer Care were defensive and resorted to usual stock answers - not helpful at all in determining why the same fault has happened twice.

Rating is for unit, Panasonic Customer Care get a rating of 0

have to say, stick with products from reputable air conditioning unit manufacturers, not consumer electronics companies. good for heating (when it isn't broken) Expensive

Failed (with same problem) twice in three years

noisy, air direction vanes no longer work properly (constant clicking)

seems underpowered (cooling) even though unit was selected (over-rated for the space). struggles to cool in summer

Panasonic Customer Care don't
