disappointed – I both this unit before Christmas. Been installed after NEW Year. the unit can"t drop the temperature more than tree degrees, when the temperature is 35 degrees in the room with working all time more than a four hours. Thought that the Panasonic is reliable brand and can satisfied my needs. i will never again buy anything from this brand in further. Show details

Continual Problems but Panasales Customer Service even worse – Had the unit put into our bedroom around 2 years ago, and firstly door wouldn't close upon turning it off and kept resetting itself back to default temp. Trying to organise a service call from Panasales in Brisbane was worse than pulling teeth. Every excuse why they couldn't come for 3-4 weeks and finally the day before the booking I called them… Read more

to inform them I would be out for 1 hour from 7-8am but home rest of the day. They told me that they wanted to be there at 7am and refused to be flexible even after waiting weeks for them to turn up. When they finally turned up 6 weeks later, the technician told me that the installer probably dropped the unit and couldn't fix the swing door not closing properly and was just our bad luck because they couldn't prove it was dropped. My wife now won't sleep in the bedroom when it's on now because it just blows cold air straight on to her.

On a positive, it does blow cold conditioned air.

Great upgrade from Fujitsu – Replaced Fujitsu of similar size with this system. Quieter running of both inside and outdoor units. Easy to use remote. Quick cool setting works well. So far, so good! And in Queensland eligible for PeakSmart rebate Show reply

Excellent – I have the Panasonic 2.5 installed in my bedroom. Excellent. I have one question. Do I need to run the “dry” mode after running it all night on cool. .? I live in tropical Queensland. Show reply

Super Quiet – We are Panasonic fans. We were surprised at how quiet this air con is. We have other older Panasonic air cons & they are a lot noisier than this one. It even goes up & down by half a degree EG 22, 22.5. Dual sensor, it also turns itself off automatically & back on when it requires. Perfect size for our home office. Show 3 replies

Great unit – Have 2 of the units installed. They are made in Malaysia. No major problem so far. However the indicator lights on the indoor unit can be annoying at night. Got them during the ebay promo from power land with free delivery. Show details ·  1

Do not install in a bedroom, makes clicking creaking noises – We have one of these installed in a bedroom, the fan keeps switching off and on repeatedly, and when the fan is off the unit makes clicking and creaking noises which are very disruptive to sleep. As far as I can tell there's no way to just keep the fan going. (I'm also not sure if it actually has an inverter in it - if it did I wouldn't have thought it would switch on and off like a duty cycle.) Show details

Good product – I live in Melbourne Victoria, this is a very good product. However you need to find your own installer for the product from your local paper. The store where I bought the product can arrange installation but they will try to charge you double if not triple the price of installation. Still working well and no issues after 3 years. Show details ·  1

Excellent - Panasonic 2.5 KW Split System Air Conditioner (Cool Only) CU-Z25TKR – Purchased this Panasonic Cool Only Split System for my master bedroom just over a year ago. The 2.5KW size is perfect and with living in a hot city (Perth), have found it cools my room very quickly. It has the Econavi function to save on power, and all the other functions are easy to navigate on the remote. It has a timer and powerful or quiet… Read more

mode. Filters are easy to remove and clean. I have other Panasonic split systems in my home and have found they don't make a lot of noise from the fan motor unit outside which is great. The remote also has a check button which can be used if you experience a fault with the system and this will show a code, so you can check what the problem may be. Can definitely recommend.

Great air con! – We love our Panasonic air conditioners. We now have this model is all of our children’s bedrooms. It’s the perfect size. It’s a quiet machine that works well to heat and cool and I find the temperature very accurate. Show details

Best decision this summer! – I don't know how I survived before I got this installed. Moved into a new house over the Christmas break, during a typical Queensland summer peak. Didn't realise until after I'd moved in there was no air-con in the master bedroom. Shock! Horror! Got onto the Airconditioning Experts and had this little beauty installed. Super quiet while running, cools quickly and efficiently. Low electricity usage and excellent value for money. Show details

Excellent – A beautifully quiet air conditioner and well suitable for a standard sized main bedroom. Very easy to use and after 12 months use has not given us any problems. It is not an imposing wall unit so blends in well with a modern style room. Cleaning and servicing is a breeze.  Show details ·  1

Time will tell – We have three of these units installed (since late 2017). Air-conditioners worked well for the first summer in QLD. This year we have started to notice issues in the unit, mainly that the unit will sporadically not cool. On each occasion, an inspection of the condenser shows the fan is not spinning. Requires a shunt or poke, after which time it… Read more

appears to work OK. So far has occurred in 2 of the 3 units. Due to the unpredictability, a service centre call has not been logged due to the risk of a callout fee. In relation to the bright lights on the unit, you can hold the grey ‘up’ arrow for several seconds on the remote to dim the bulbs. This is mentioned in the user manual. Overall, I think the ‘i Auto-X’, ‘nanoe-G’ and ‘Econavi’ are wanky features with no noticeable benefit, but price wise, this unit was hard to beat at the time of purchase. Hopefully we will not see any other issues in the near future. Time will tell...

Cheapest price for Airconditioner – Really good unit. I bought it for my bedroom and it's so quiet I sometimes have to check if it's still on. My electrician had no trouble installing the unit & the remote is very easy to use. I use the timer to turn on automatically in the morning so I get out of bed to a nice warm room.  Show details

Good little aircon – Panasonic is going good it is very quiet unit, cools the large room ( was told by guys to install the bigger kw unit as room is very big) but it is cooling fine. 2 on and off timers. Took 1 hour to install. Some issues are firstly no back light on remote and sometime makes a ticking noise when shut.  Show details

Great Small Unit – Paid $759 less $100 cashback so nett $659. It is very quiet and effective on heating. Will update the review when the warmer weather comes but so far I can't fault it. I like that as an inverter you don't get the compressor cutting in and out all the time. Our bedroom is 18sqm with 2.4m ceiling and it copes with that area easily. I expect it… Read more

will earn it's keep in a hot Adelaide summer but all indications to date are positive and I'm happy to recommend it.

Great cooling and heating for one large room – We have 4 of these models on a multihead system, 2 of the 2.5kw and 2 of the 2kw cooling. The 2.5kW are in our master bedroom and lounge and cools them perfectly, as well as pushing out a bit into the next room. The 2kW are fine for the 2 smaller bedrooms too. These are very quiet and we can sleep with them on and set a timer for them to turn… Read more

on/off. Very easy to use and fan can be directed really easily. We also like that we can control the 4 units separately and this was a big deciding factor for us when comparing to ducted aircon.

Great performance and nowhere near the price tag of Fujitsu etc.

Good – I bought this a.c. during last summer. I'm happy with four month use. It is silent during Night time. Running cost is comparatively less. Installation cost too much for Ac in Australia. Make sure to buy during offers. If possible Install solar to make running cost more affordable during summer  Show details

A quiet air conditioner – Bought 2 units to get installed at in the bedrooms. Moderate sized (4x4m) rooms. Easy installation with the electrician. Unobtrusive looking unit inside and out. Now up and running and cooled the rooms easily, despite the 39degree temperature out size. The process for setting up timers and air direction was very easy after reading the manual. The quiet mode is actually noticeably more quiet than the lowest fan mode. Would recommend.  Show details

Yet another brilliant Panasonic aircon – This is our fifth Panasonic air conditioner spread around the house - the others have all been perfect (I have never had a warranty claim), but they just keep getting better with successive later models, and more efficient. Our very first Panasonic inverter, bought in 1997 and installed in our main bedroom, is still going strong after 21 years,… Read more

but has been reinstalled in the study as it gets much less use- and is much less efficient at about 870w flat out. That was pretty good in 1997.

This one however is down to about 500w max, (much less when not running flat out), absolutely brilliant efficiency, five stars on cool, 5.5 on heat.

Many people buy on price alone, but with an appliance which gets regular use, efficiency is incredibly important with our ever increasing electricity prices, and the Panasonic ticks all the boxes. (Be careful though, they have a cheaper model available which is less efficient. You need to be sure you’re getting the correct model :CSCU Z25TKR )

It has a user friendly remote, is incredibly quiet, and incredibly efficient. I couldn’t ask for more in a split system aircon.

No complaints so far – Have only used the cooling a few times so far. This is a 2.5kw and it is quiet and cools our bedroom quickly. The outside unit was installed on brackets and the whole process took 2.5 hours. 5 year warranty on this model. I know it's early days for a proper review but I will update if I need to add anything.  Show details

Stopped working after using couple of times in hot summer – We bought this brand new panasonic air conditioner rather then buying any cheaper one thinking it would give a good service for at least couple of years. But after using for a month (of course not everyday, may be 10 days the max) it doesn't blow cool air. Its the pick summer now (42°C in the afternoon) and I have a new born. We complained and… Read more

Cheaply made! so many better options out there – These were sold to us by a large retail chain in Queensland who seem to be selling heaps of them. I've seen plenty of new air cons including Mitsubishis and Daikins. These Panasonics are very cheaply constructed. The plastics are very thin and the wall plate is about half the thickness of a Mitsubishi. 5 year warranty, so its a good budget… Read more

brand but definitely not a quality AC like some of the bigger brands.

Do yourself a favour, download the brochure and compare with a Mitsubishi or Daikin. The soundlevels, air volume etc are all better. The noise output on this 2.5kw is 62dbs! almost twice as long as other brands which are around 58dbs. Also the energy rating is only when using 'EcoNavi' setting, so its not all the time.
