Not sure what all the complaining is about.
The site itself is a bit of a missh to go through but if you know what youre after you should have no problem
Prices were great (better than other big tech stores like umart and pccasegear and mwave)
Delivery to QLD took less than 7 days.
My only change would be to change couriers as i couldnt change the address on my order but thats more on my side than a pcbyte error.

The Reviews Are Right - DO Not Trust These Guys
I placed an order late at night on the 5th of October, and no action was taken on the order at all on the 6th Oct. Late at night on the 6th Oct I received a confirmation that I would receive an RTX 3080, so the next morning around 9am I followed their procedures to cancel the order and even sent them a message to document the time - I knew this would be fine as they had not started packing the order.
Knowing that it may take a day or so to respond and the history of this business I also started a PayPal refund also on the 7th of October to ...ensure that I had everything documented as I thought they may try to send out the item to get a restocking fee off me or maybe they hoped Iid keep the order. Then I noticed this morning that they have filled out a consignment note so I contacted them very early on the 9th Oct this morning via PayPal as well as email and through their website, and as the day went on they have changed the status to Shipped obviously ignoring all previous contact. SO I've had to contact the courier company to notify that the delivery needs to be returned and it won't be accepted, and they don't have a record of that number. So I just want people to know that these guys should be avoided like the plague. I wouldn't have an issue if I tried to cancel an order the day that it was due to be despatched, but deceiving behaviour like this in my books is unacceptable and why I want to warn people to pay a bit more and go with a reliable store - especially when it comes to tech gear. I could only imagine the drama if there was ever a warranty claim.
Update on order SO254024
Update (Ref INV/2020-26686)
I have gotten one email back from pc byte today in regards to them not having the cpu in stock. They have made an great upgrade to their website now which specifies whether the product is at supplier or in stock. I have ask for another cpu which they have in stock and am waiting for a response at the moment I submitted my ticket 1 day ago. I have tried to contact pc byte today but had to wait 1.5 hours to go from third caller to first only to be disconnected. I have also asked for a refund since the other cpu chosen is cheaper. I will keep updating On how the refund process goes also.
Ordered 5 days ago......
Ordered parts and they were quick to take my money and send out an invoice....but thats where it stopped. My online account wasn't created so I couldn't sign in and "check the status" of my order. I have tried to call both stores about 6 times each, and have sent about 6 messages on their website chat. I believe I have given them plenty of time to respond. I initially wanted to upgrade a component to a more expensive one, but I couldn't get through to talk to anyone. I used these guys as there prices were great, and they advertise quick sh...ipping - the only thing they were quick with, was taking my money - They are cheap for a reason..... I'm hoping my items turn up before Christmas. I will never ever use them again. I'm happy to pay more for a product if you get good service. Lets see if this kicks them in the right places and I get a response........
I ordered a pc on September 9th, it is now October 2nd and I haven't got freaking anything. My bday was yesterday on October 1st and I woke up to absolutely nothing. My mother felt bad for her self and I was miserable the whole day, and I still get freaking peeved off now when I think about it. My cousin ordered his pc 4 days after I did and he got his, it wasn't for his bday or anything, he just got it for the sake of it. Do not buy anything from pc byte, they completely wasted my time and I am sure they will waste yours as well and I damn doubt I wont get a full refund. I am now expecting nothing for Christmas as $430 dollars have been wasted. I want this pc pcbyte. Its all I want. Please.
First time ever wanting a gaming tower, and this machine is totally awesome. Well priced, well built and exactly as advertised, runs my new game perfectly. Took a week to build, and there was a little shipping glitch, but PC Byte always responded and answered the phone, then finally delivered overnight by Couriers Please once it was dispatched. I am happy and will use PC Byte again.
I placed an order late on the 24th of Sep, received confirmation payment was received and an invoice on the 25th. Literally just received my order, on the 28th. I am in Melbourne. I actually read some of these reviews and was a little worried but clearly for no reason. I am still waiting for orders from other retailers ordered some time ago. Pretty impressed actually, will buy from here again. Website is easy to navigate, product range is pretty good and some prices are great.

Terrible service! Be warned!
Order # SO229971
I have cancelled a purchase on 11 Sept 2020.
Received an email on 15 Sept 2020 that refund will take up to 3 days waited longer, been sending emails no response and calling their phone no. multiple times and been waiting for hours but nobody answers. 22 Sept 2020 still no refund and no answer from them, it is worrying me now! Stressful to deal with!
Lesson learned I will not purchase with this store anymore and I will spread the word to warn people!
I am very close to reporting this store to ACCC and Fair Trading.
Good price, Free Delivery, Good job guys!!
I ordered some routers.
Good price, free delivery.
Sure, the delivery was via Aust Post, so in these times it took a week or so to arrive, but that is expected.
Goods were received in good nick.
zero communication, where is my item?
Have sent four emails requesting tracking and updates. No reply. My reference INV/2020-23936 (with reference: SO233591). They seem to respond to negative feedback here with requests for these numbers, and though I see no follow up maybe this is the only way I can get any action on my purchase. I am a very short time away from contacting the ACCC. Just be a real business and respond to your client, maybe I’ll update this review and buy from you again if your reasons are sound
Terrible company to deal with.
PC-byte, IoT Hub, PCmeal, Tech mall, flash_pro, Tech Century, and probably others are belong to the same group with the same bad attitude, bad services, good not being delivered, give fault promises to prolonged the process of refund (do not let paypal dispute to expire with this group), refuse to paid return shipping fee, known to sell fake item knowingly or unknowingly. Avoid this unscrupulous group, a warning to you guy.
Worst Tech Online Shop Ever!
I bought a single item from PC Byte. I paid and checked out. Their website says standard shipping time is 3-4 Days. After 8 Days I didn't hear anything and didn't get a tracking Number. Emails and Contact Forms were all ignored until I threatened to go to ACCC. I received a tracking number for Couriers Please on the 8th Day, they clearly just sent it out that day. A couple of days after that I got another email saying that the item would be delivered within another 1 to 2 weeks so I'm looking at a 3 to 4 week wait for one single item that I pai...d a lot of money for when their website says 3-4 Days delivery Australia Wide... Don't shop with PCByte you will REGRET it. They are a horrible company that don't care about their customers. I will be contacting ACCC for these dodgy and unprofessional business practices. PC Byte is TERRIBLE!
Shop elsewhere and save yourself the hassle
Bought a motherboard through them that was in stock, received an invoice the following day saying that it had been paid for.
I didn't hear from them for a week. So I emailed them asking what was happening with the order, as their site claims that tracking numbers are usually sent the day after receiving an invoice.
The following day I received an email that said the motherboard won't be in stock until late September and asked if I want to go ahead with the purchase or cancel it. I emailed them the same day and cancelled it.
2 days later I...email them again after getting no reply from them. The following day I get an email from Aus Post saying that the parcel from PC Byte is on it's way. 2 days after that I get an email from PC Byte apologising for the delay and saying that the motherboard has been shipped and if I would still like a refund to send it back to them.
Questions & Answers
hi PC Byte, Why are you so hard to get hold of? I placed an order I wish to amend and all methods of contact have failed.
I finally got through to the Auburn store after a 40 minute wait. Apparently they have a massive backlog of orders. One of my items had only arrived instore today, but it was in stock when I ordered it a week ago. I would suggest calling them and waiting on hold, as I have emailed and sent messages with no reply. It seems to me they are under-staffed in a big way. You will have to unfortunately keep the pressure on, as you will be luck if they return your call or email. I certainly won't be using them again - ever.
I ordered a Tenda Nova MW3 should I be worried about not getting it?
If not how long do you think it will take I ordered it on 5th of October
