I first stumbled across this site because the price they sold the headphones I wanted (Sony wh-1000xm3) was cheaper than competitors. However, after 5 months of problems I wish I could go back in time and buy them from another retailer. The first set of headphones I received were fine to begin with, in fact they were very nice to use. However, over time a horrible static noise appeared from the left ear cup which began to completely ruin the experience. So I contacted them for a replacement which was a hassle but about 3 weeks later I had a new...set of headphones, or so I thought... The headphones that came were in an unsealed box and the packaging was a mess inside furthermore the headphones did not come with a charging cable. The headphones did not turn on so I assumed they just needed to be charged. So after spending $10 purchasing the cable (USBA to USBC) I found that the supposedly 'new' headphones didn't even turn on after charging for a couple of hours. PC Byte had replaced my broken product with another broken product. To make matters worse they haven't even responded to the email I sent at the end of December asking for my money back. I feel completely ripped off having spent $330 for nothing but months of hassle and faulty headphones. Would definitely take your money elsewhere, unless you like broken products and slow/no response.

Ordered a monitor and got a vacuum. But issues was resolved with refund and also a free gift to make up for the troubles. I got another monitor from them anyway and had no issues. Just had to make a call and all was followed up. Their warehouse provider was probably the one that needs a kick.

RE: Vacuum cleaner/monitor mixup
After emailing and calling didn't work, the only place I got a response was from writing a review here, so I'm trying again. Anyway I got called regarding the order, but that call just made everything worse.
I deposited $500 so that they can ship out the monitor a day earlier (mind this is already more than 3 weeks late) as they say they wanted the vacuum back before they could ship the monitor, and they promised me it would be shipped straight away if I deposited $500. Anyway it didn't get shipped within 1 da...y like they promised on the phone, and even worse it didn't even get shipped 2 days after they got their vacuum back at their warehouse. 5 days later and I'm pretty sure they still haven't shipped the real item. Doesn't take a genius to figure out they're lying about their stock count. The only question is why lie about it when it can be so easily exposed? If it isn't a stock issue, then it's even worse... And then the biggest fuckup of all happened - they refunded my monitor order rather than the $500 deposit I put down for the expedited shipping, meaning they refunded the wrong order. I'm really tilted by this as it's a net ~$200 loss for me as I paid for the deposit on a non-company card and the invoice was for a non-deductible item. Meaning to fix this I'll have to get PCByte to refund the $500 deposit and charge me again for the monitor (if I get it by today, that is, otherwise I will have lost all hope in getting the monitor at all). This is, I called them today, waited 20 minutes in queue, only to get hung up on immediately when the queue finally reached my turn. I have everything documented so it'll be easy to file a chargeback via paypal for the items I never received, however I don't want it to come down to that. Please just answer my calls or emails or call me again. I'm not really interested in playing the blame game here. I just hope to get this resolved ASAP so I can progress with my work. If I get the response that they are out of stock and they never had the monitor in the first place, I'll just order from an Amazon warehouse instead.
Worst Experience ever ...
Worst experience ever with online shopping, I did order product and paid $503.99 then received error while payment was successful next day I was unable to login into their website to check the order status as nothing came to my email. I had multiple call with them over couple of days then they send me receipt. Still after 1 week of order placement no tracking number as product not yet dispatched and I am still not able to login.
I will never recommend PCByte to anyone....
Great product, delivered on time, but long waits to talk to anyone
I saw PC Byte were offering a good deal on a new Ryzen 7 5800x / RTX 3070 PC and read the reviews here and was dubious. I wanted to speak to someone there to make sure all the parts were in stock. I initially tried the Hornsby office and every call went unanswered. The Auburn office had a 45 minute wait time. As a last resort I tried the website chat and eventually got an answer several hours later.
Once I had someone, I was able to ask a number of questions and confirmed all the items in the build were in stock. I was told to expect 3-5 busi...ness days for the build and 2-4 days for delivery. The person I spoke to was quite responsive, so this swayed me to go with them, and I placed the order. On placing the order, I got the invoice immediately. Five days later, I received notification that my item was shipped, and was delivered by Australia Post a couple of days later. The build quality of the PC was great, neatly put together and components as described (the build specified "X or equivalent"). I am very happy with the product, and the price was excellent. However, I agree their level of correspondence leaves a lot to be desired. I can understand this would be frustrating if there are problems with the order, and you need to talk to someone. I suspect a lot of people's orders are delivered on time and for a great price. PC Byte need to pick up their game when it comes to customer contact and responding to queries.
I have exactly the same problem - ordered a Xiomi 34’ monitor but was delivered a vacuum cleaner without any delivery notification. I immediately called pcbyte and returned the vacuum cleaner. After 3 weeks, I am still waiting for my monitor. Have emailed them to enquire but no response so far. Very very bad. Don’t think I will buy from this shop again.

hi PC Byte, Why are you so hard to get hold of? I placed an order I wish to amend and all methods of contact have failed.
I finally got through to the Auburn store after a 40 minute wait. Apparently they have a massive backlog of orders. One of my items had only arrived instore today, but it was in stock when I ordered it a week ago. I would suggest calling them and waiting on hold, as I have emailed and sent messages with no reply. It seems to me they are under-staffed in a big way. You will have to unfortunately keep the pressure on, as you will be luck if they return your call or email. I certainly won't be using them again - ever.
