a US import eSIM-only model. This is obviously a cheaper version for them to source so they can pocket a higher profit margin.
Abysmal Customer Service: Their system is designed as a loop so customers cannot return anything without being out of pocket for weeks. Their online chat help does not work, and the AI fails to forward you to a human despite claiming it will. Emails take 24–48 hours for a reply, and they are just robotic protocol gibberish.
UPDATE: I finally got a reply 48 hours later. Their "solution" is that I have to send the phone back so they can verify it is grey and not blue—even though I already sent them clear photographic proof! Only then will they refund or send a replacement.
This means I am looking at another 7 days to send it back, and another 7 days to receive a replacement. It will take approximately a month just to get the correct phone if there are no further holdups.
The Scam: I believe they intentionally sell phones they don't have in stock, ship whatever color they have on hand anyway, and bank on the fact that you need a phone and they already have your money. Then, they make the return process as tedious, difficult, and lengthy as possible to discourage refunds while they sell more stock. Supplying a US phone without disclosure is incredibly shady.
Now, I have to waste my time, energy, and petrol to drive to a local telco carrier just to get an eSIM QR code, because this phone has no physical SIM card slots—completely contrary to what I ordered.
I will be following this up with a formal report to the ACCC. Methinks they do this all the time. Avoid at all costs!

My iphone mini was fixed quickly, with precaution to preserve my data and they fixed it under my warranty so I did not pay anything!

Also, they will shoulder the shipping fee and seriously, it is a 100% hassle-free transaction! They clearly care about doing the job right rather than upselling. Follow-up · This is a follow up, i’ve had this phone for around like 2 months, not gonna lie i forgot how long the shipping was but it was fine just as expected not long at all, so far this phone is pretty much perfect nothing bad has happened whatsoever, nothing faulty no bad hardware so far I got exactly what i paid for, at a good price. products (only lasted 4 months) and cannot be supported by Apple in Australia. I trust Apple and certainly wouldn't trust your company to do a better or even fair assessment of the phone, so your warranty is really worthless and the phone heavily over priced.

with free shipping, the time it took to review the damage was over 5 days. In recieving a replacement, they had run out of the original model purchased and the item took over a week to be sent back.

screen has multiple deep, structurally tactile gouges and severe pitting. There are so many grooves and pits in the glass that you literally feel them dragging against your thumb multiple times every single time you scroll a webpage.
To call a device with multiple deep physical screen damage (felt on every interaction with the screen) "Excellent" is absurd; it doesn't even meet a "Fair" standard. Slapping a screen protector over the top to hide this damage from a consumer during unboxing is deceptive, dishonest, and a clear breach of Australian Consumer Law guarantees regarding acceptable quality.
Ironically, Perfect Pre Owned included a card in the box explicitly asking me to submit a review on this site. I am a strong believer in honest feedback, so I am acting on their request with full honesty.
I have initiated a dispute and provided comprehensive photo and video evidence of the non-conformance. Because of the deceptive condition of this device and the administrative delays, I am demanding a full refund and will not accept a replacement from this vendor. I am currently waiting for them to log into the Reebelo merchant portal to issue my official return shipping label.
If this is simply an isolated quality control failure by Bloombird Pty Ltd, I expect them to prove it by acting professionally and rectifying this immediately. Having a public relations team reply to these complaints with empty assurances—while offering no evidence of an actual resolution—is not going to fool anyone in this day and age.
If they do not resolve this by Monday, I will be escalating this as a formal fraud chargeback with my financial institution and lodging complaints with the ACCC and WA Consumer Protection.
Buyer beware: If you buy from them, remove the screen protector immediately and inspect the raw glass.
