Pergolas of Distinction

We love our new deck and pergola installed by Pergolas of Distinction. Excellent communication throughout all the stages, even when we tweaked the design just before they were due to start. Joe and Max did an absolutely amazing job and it has turned out even better than we imagined. We would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Had a extension done to our under roof alfresco in steel framing.
Installer/builder arrived on time on site and through every step of the process kept me up to date as well if anything minor changed would let me know and even ask for my opinion. So many times I have had things done to then come to see the finish product and find it different to the plan.

Had some minor issues with the supply of the materials but again kept me in the loop and had it sorted next day.

The finished product looks clean and they removed every bit of rubbish from the site.

Hamish and Jeremy really went out of their way to deliver excellent service. We had blinds, an awning and a pergola installed and they are outstanding products. The team is super reliable, they are only happy when everything is perfect, they are extremely responsive also after installation and are really nice guys. It's been an absolute pleasure.

Absolutely love my new louvretec verandah! It has transformed my outdoor area into one that is appealing and useable all year round. The MARKILUX blinds have added another room to our indoor/outdoor entertaining area. Our little ones are now able to play on the lawn in the shade while we adults enjoy the comforts of the indoor space with (wall-to-wall) doors wide open, making it a great entertainment area. The expertise of both Jeremy and Hamish, together with their most capable engineer and builders who made the necessary adjustments to our extension while under construction, have successfully created this additional space during the later stages of our renovation. Nothing was too much trouble for them to make this area functional and would pop out at any time at our request to adjust the remote controls to our satisfaction.

Couldn’t be happier with my louvres, smooth lines, amazing quality, very professional team and love the inbuilt led strip lighting! Would recommend to everyone, will add so much value to your property!

From our first design meeting with PoD, through the planning stage and on to the construction phase I have been very happy with the customer service and quality of the product.

The guys on site were polite and clean, leaving the area in a good condition at the end of each day.

Aside from a minor hiccup in construction, which was promptly rectified, the build went smoothly and much faster than I had anticipated.

The final result is an excellent addition to our home that will see a lot of use in the coming years.

I would definitely recommend PoD to anyone looking for an pergola or verandah addition to their home.

Poor material used. Uneven and not straight. The manager even told me not to lean a ladder against it, or the gutter would fall off. The company refused to accept there were any problems. Poor quality. Arrogant when problems raised. 3 contractors for other work have commented on the carport and verandah being poorly built. So disappointed. No after sales service.

My elderly parents used this company for a new pergola and paint job. The paint job was absolutely terrible with big patches left untouched. We couldn’t believe it was left in this state. It was so bad that they assumed the painter wasn’t finished and was coming back on Monday but just hadn’t let them know.

After calling the company Monday afternoon, they arranged for the painter to come back, however they also proceeded to ask for full payment before the job was finished. I had to plead and convince my parents not to pay the rest until the j...

After the magnificent job Pergolas of Distinction did on our balcony, we found that when the wind was very strong and from a certain direction we got a vibration in the roof sheets. Advised of the problem and 2 days later a workman was there and rectified the issue. Can't ask for more than that especially when the job was 200ks out of Adelaide.

Our louvred pergola is exactly what we had hoped for.

The louvres are easy to operate with the remote control. They are keeping out the rain and, on fine days, letting in the light to brighten up our home. Great when having a BBQ, I just open them up to let out the smoke! No doubt they will help keep out the heat in the Summer.

Hamish and the Pergolas of Distinction team did a great job. The installation was easy and fuss free. Installers were quiet, careful and friendly.
