Terrible Do NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY Appalling customer service from the agent [Name Removed]! He Tried to charge me $120 for simply cancelling a request for a technican. He said there is a cancellation fee for just booking a tech??? Sounds like an Indian call centre. He hung up on me 3 times. I told him I wanted to cancel because of their bad reviews here haha and now we know why they are rated 1. Do Better Pestico!!

Don’t go there!!!! – I’m not sure this company is even legit. Do not waste your money or time on them. I’ve spent close to $1,100 on a service which got me nowhere. No customer service and apparently no management to speak to if you have an issue.

roaches were not gone (and in fact, I was seeing them more frequently despite my place being squeaky clean) and so I decided to contact them again. They said they could only do another visit within 7 days and since that time had lapsed, they won't do anything else. Moreover, they said that the service I had got was only "a basic one-time service" (for 250 bucks!). When I said that I would post a negative review for their service, they simply replied that "your query is considered closed". Clearly, they don't seem to care about negative reviews.

They are a scam – I am really disappointed that I fell for this scam. Hired Pestico to remove a swarm of bees from our property. They had assured me on the phone they could be removed without harming the bees but when they arrived they said killing the bees was the only option. amount, until finally negotiating to 3x the usual amount. They did remove the bees that we had, however sold us an additional "treatment" that I have since learned did nothing except cause a mess. A week later and the bees are back. I tried to call them again as they had promised a 3 month warranty. However they referred us to a scam email address and said the "complaints department" would get back to us, which they did not. Please do not hire these people for your pest needs. There are much better providers out there that are cheaper, more professional and more effective.

Called multiple times per day to pay an invoice - held off asking for the service to be completed, multiple appointments and no one shows up, and then (my mistake!) paid the invoice in good faith. Don’t go to these id*ots under any circumstance – Worst service. Bunch of cheaters. They just steal money with no work done. Charged us 300 and coudnt get the rodent and didn’t even spray the house. Big scam, steer well clear – Cousin in Northern Beaches of Sydney just got scammed. Guy turned up in thongs and spent literally 15 minutes spraying for bed bugs. Invoice was for $1200! Bad Service – Pestico contacted me again after a very long time after i got a very reliable company to do the job again anf they did a very good job. They claimed to have called me and said they even came all the way to my place without me knowing but i wasn't home. I don't believe they did this. Terrible service and many excuses after – Do not use. They say it would kill pests in 1 treatment. When you realise that it did not work and contact them, they take a long time to reply and create many excuses to not come back. Or charge to come back.

Crap Services. Not legitimate – Would rate lower if possible. Unprofessional, rude. 6 days later and still chasing an invoice. Pretty sure the person that came out was not even qualified.

Scammers!!!!! – Would give zero if I could. Biggest scam ever. Total oblivious from the look of the website. Should have known when they just answered with hello. One person comes and acts like he knows what his talking about. So annoyed as we were so desperate and acted in urgency rather than checking reviews first!!

phone was $180 - 240 for wasp removal. On arrival the person said it would cost $425 as the infestation was extensive and they would need to spray the whole exterior. I was juggling carer and other responsibilities so I didn't have time to question.

The spraying occurred over one isolated area at the front verandah, not the whole house. No safety gear, not even gloves, were worn. The invoice states that full safety gear (boots, face shield, gloves, gown etc) was worn, which was not true. The website says products are pet safe. When on site the person spraying said it was not pet-safe and to keep the dog away.

The wasps remained after the treatment.

The invoice stated $467, but the contractor altered the invoice saying it was wrong and shouldn't include GST. Someone called me an hour later to ask exactly how much i had given the pest control person, and whether it was cash. Something felt not right.

The invoice header is for Pioneer Maintenance services (not Pestico).

As the wasps remained I called another reputable company. They attended and said that there was no nest, possibly the wasps were looking to make one, but there was no nest yet. They recommended using bug spray on the few wasps. They were disgusted when I told them about the visit from Pestico. and didn't charge me for the call out. I took this person's advice, sprayed the few wasps and they have now gone.

Avoid Pestico.

A few days later the ants came back with a vengence, I emailed and called to tell them that there's even more ants and this didn't seem normal, they never replied to the email. I then called them and the lady on phone told me to just wait another week or so, and when I called again a second time (a week or so later), they told me to email complaints department and they will call me within 24hrs (what a lie, they didn't even reply to the first email). After he finished the 16-18 minutes treatment I mentioned to him that the treatment solution had no smell at all and I said to him I hope you're legit and he didn't reply He then said he needed to discuss the cost with his boss to which he had to call him then he quoted $360 for the lot I said I only have $220 cash and he said he will call his boss and see what he says The boss must have agreed to take all that i had from me, I felt like he was a scammer with no experience in the pest control industry from the start I feel so foolish and that I went against my better judgement and gave that young man the benefit of a doubt and paid the $220 and hoped I was wrong about this pest control service Four hours later after I gave the treatment time to work I entered my home to find that No cockroaches where laying dead or even dying. checks out the ceiling space without mentioning a price, and says the sounds are being caused by very large rats. My wife freaks out and asks him to remove them. He climbs into the ceiling space and throws around a couple of Ratsak packs and some Rodilon blocks. He uses the chemical term for them and tells my wife that they are special chemicals which will cause the rats to become thirsty and hungry and leave the house. The whole process takes 40 minutes, he maybe spends 10 minutes in the ceiling space. He then informs my wife the cost is $704!!!!. He insists on cash or bank transfer and intimidates my wife into paying bank transfer. I guess that way, a payment cannot be blocked when his victims realise they have been robbed. Scammers – We contacted Pestico (aka Gold Home Maintenance) as their advertisement stated they worked weekends and offered same day service. despite ticking the boxes on the receipt (e.g., gloves used, specialist protective gear, etc). We asked about warranty and were told it was 3 months. Within 3 months, we contacted the company about recurring problems after their treatment and we were accused of all kinds of things. They refused to come and assess the situation, they denied any warranty for services offered, they have refused to provide us with their pest control licence number (a legal requirement) and their response is that they are not a law firm.

They remain steadfast in their opinion they do not owe people a warranty for services provided, instead they blame customers for any problems by providing a list of three things we did wrong: 1. The fact we had no problem in 9 weeks proves that the job has been done correctly (despite now having more damage and more rats).

2. There “could be a strong possibility you could have done something to the property blaming us for the faulty service” - apparently we caused the problem.

3. There is no mention on the invoice of any warranty provided, which indicates we are making a warranty up to start a “blame game”.

Furthermore, we have enquired with multiple companies and received quotes for treatment of rodents in our home and they have all quoted the same for weekend services and treatment (1/3 of what Pestico has charged us).

Finally, this company pays Google to come up first in a Google search! They are not on top of the list because they are good or provide good service.

called them. The job took the technician less than 20 minutes to do. The first tax invoice was written up - $1100. I refused to pay that. The technician made a phone call then said the price is just $540. I was expected to pay by bank transfer and show proof of payment immediately. Be sure to always ask for a quote before they even start the job. I will never use this company again. I will now go through the Ombudsman not to get my money back but to ensure that this appalling treatment of customers is stopped.

possum was on top of a roof, not inside the roof, anyone could have climbed the ladder and grabbed the possum. the roof wasn't that high either. after the job was done, the person didn't take the dead animal away, instead the possum was dumped inside our bin, continuing to make the area stink.

Then they try to put a trap in the house (meanwhile they do nothing from the outside) after their “expert” conclusion is that the rat came from outside through the front door (wow Sherlock) .
