Product gone down hill
I worked for Peter Alexander many years ago and had an entire collection that lasted me a good fair few years. All PJs were made in India fantastic quality. Today the quality is poor because it's all made in china. The waffle material feels like Sand paper and not the lush soft comfortable fit. PJs also shrink after being washed. Sizing not accurate. It's a real shame now your paying for the name and not the quality when before it was all about the quality. I won't be purchasing anymore PA.
My first purchase of PA winter pjs was 6 years ago now. I love them BUT am disappointed I get less than 12 months wear out of them before holes appear... Surely with the price you pay you would get more than 12 months?? The first pair lasted 2 years so I should count my lucky stars there I guess! I've been through 4 pairs and only after the last pair have decided its not worth it. I've had Kmart pjs last longer than the amount of PA pjs I've been through
I ordered quite a lot of stuff during their sale and no problem with shipping and items I received. They are really comfortable as well as the briefs. Cute design. It took 2 weeks for the package to arrive due to Covid-19 delays. I also visited the store in Cairns Central, looks pretty and girly. The staffs were friendly and helpful. I had stuff that I bought back in 2017 and still wearing them, quality is good. Online store is good, there's always description if it's regular fitting, loose, etc. True to size.
Overpriced and poor quality
Their clothing is beautiful and feels luxurious when you try it on but in the light of day is not good quality. I bought a (very expensive!) dressing gown from PA a couple of weeks ago, only to discover that I sweat profusely whenever I wear it - even when it’s very cold! Turns out my $100+ robe is made of 100% synthetic material - oh how I wish I checked that in the store! The threads are all also coming loose and need to be cut off every time I wear it. I won’t be buying from PA again.

Pjs last for a very long time. Monogram is a lovely touch. Silk, satin and flannos are all excellent. Great quality.
Above and Beyond Customer Service
I ordered online during the last Bluey release. I received a call a couple of weeks later from a Peter Alexander employee explaining that unfortunately there was an issue and that my order could not be fullfilled on time and if I did not want to wait for another month that I would receive a full refund for those items and a discount for the items that I still wanted to receive. I opted to wait for my full order and was given a significant discount for my entire order and was refunded with that discount within a few days. I was so impressed with their proactive costumer service!! Well done Peter Alexander Sleepwear!!
Pink satin PJs
Very disappointed with the quality of the satin pink pjs. Big price for very poor quality product- very sad I did love this brand once. I Have bought a pair for my sister for her birthday And not really keen to give them to her now but running out of time to buy anything else. Sadly Not worth the $100+ they cost. I will say the navy satin pjs looked better and I do love the flannel pj pants.
Used to love
Staff in store are always lovely and helpful. I used to only ever buy Peter Alexander Pyjamas. Over the last five or so years I have noticed the quality decrease, while it seems the like the prices have increased. While the fabrics feel lovely and soft, they wear out too quickly and items seem way too expensive now ($80-90 for a pair of PJ pants!?). We've had quite a few pieces rip, get stretched out easily, or develop random holes.

Zero customer service. Knowingly sent me a damaged gift box (which I paid for) and now won’t respond. Bought the item for a friends birthday which is tomorrow and now I either spent extra or give her a mangled gift. Won’t buy from them again.
Fast service extremely satisfied with the service and the postage speed was super fast will definitely recommend and buy from again found my new favourite shopping store for myself and kids
Poor quality slippers
I made the mistake of buying 3 pairs of slippers during there Sales . All 3 pairs are different styles and each pair has either had an embellishment come off or the seams have come apart . Extremely poor quality

I have been buying ALL my families PJs from Peter Alexander for the last....at least 6 years??? I remember the first pair I bought about 10 years ago for myself that lasted several years maintaining quality and feeling very cute. The pairs I have bought in the last 12 months....two separate PJ sets were delivered with holes (I purchased online, so this couldn't be checked in store). These were replaced since the brand was at fault, but suspect it happened on two separate occasions. Sizing is also becoming very inconsistent. I bought two pairs o...f winter pajamas on my last order in the same size and one top was a perfect fit with room to spare while one was too small. They were the same size and virtually the same style?!?! One of the pair I bought was the same style as a pair I bought two winters ago which I still have but are getting worn out and needed replacing. The new pair use considerably thinner material. I would say paper thin, but actually this is thinner even than paper! It's supposed to be flannelette for starters, I have never felt flannel so thin! They are not warm enough for winter and the thinness will mean they'll wear very quickly. Other new top has loose threads all over the stitching (so cheap). On top of that, a pair bought only last winter is falling apart at the seams. I sewed one hole, but have since found several others. This is all within the last 12 months, so there has obviously been some kind of shift towards utter cheapness in production. Sadly, my love affair with this brand stops here. No more Peter Alexander for me.
Ripped off by $10 delivery charge. Plus nothing costs $50 as my gift card.

However, Nothing was $50. Everything was less or more, plus $10 delivery. You get ripped off either way. I will Never shop here. Complete crap! I feel sorry for my child, as she thought she was getting me something special. But you just ripped her off!
So disappointed in Peter Alexander Service!
I order some very expensive monographed PJ's for my daughter with the beautiful box and all. As soon as I got the email receipt I realised they were short sleeve and I wanted long sleeve as it is winter. The company phone number had a message saying I need to email them which I did straight away and they returned an email which stated I cannot change the order. I am very disappointed in Peter Alexander service as this product was very expensive and they should have change the short to long sleeve straight away - I was happy to pay any difference. I will not buy from them again.

If I could rate Peter Alexander a 0 out of 5 stars... I would. I used to be a valued customer of this shop... I would swear by them. That was until I made a purchase in early april and waited 4 weeks for it arrive. I know what you are thinking... It's covid-19 that must be why it was delayed... However, you have thought wrong, at the same time I was purchasing other items from other online shopping sites, that were further away and received them within 2-3 business days. While I remained patient for the items to arrive, once they arrived finall...y after 20 business days, I noticed that the slippers did not fit. Firstly, a medium... Not fitting a size 8 women's foot, doesn't really make sense, but I bit my tongue and went to the post office and paid my $15 to return the item, with tracking. 3 days later my parcel had made it to their factory... I know right, the excuses I was given about why their parcel had taken so long to get to me, all of a sudden were proven wrong, as mine got to their factory with no issues whatsoever. So what has happened since? Well it has been 24 days, with no confirmation that they got my exchange, no correspondence via email. And I have since sent 5 emails across 3 weeks, with no response from their customer service. They now have my money, and my item and they are no where to be seen. I have tried to call their customer service line, which terminates upon calling, I have also received response emails from their staff assuring me that they are sorry for my issues and they will get to my email... Yet have not heard a word for 3 weeks. It has now been 2 months since the initial order... And to say the customer service was abysmal does not do it justice. I am disgusted in the customer service of this company, and will never shop with them again... I recommend everyone takes their hard earned money elsewhere, because this company certainly does not deserve a cent of it.
Impractical slippers.. So pretty... for about 3 days! :(
I asked for Peter Alexander slippers for a second year running for Mother’s Day... and am kicking myself that I forgot over the summer what happened to my pair last year.
They are so pretty, and pink and ooze luxury. I love the feeling of putting them on for the first time. Unfortunately, for a second year running, the pretty embellishment fell off after about three days of what I’d call pretty normal, around the house use. This year the slippers had a beaded bow, the beads of which are now all over the floors of our house as the tiny threads...holding the beads progressively broke. I’ve just spent the last 20 mins cutting the rest of them off, so they aren’t tripped over or eaten by our children. Can I keep wearing the slippers? Yes. Will my feet still be warm? Yes. But do I feel like I got what I paid for? No. Unless the quality of attachment of the embellishments changes, next year I’ll look elsewhere for my pretty, pink, comfy Mother’s Day slippers.

I am so disappointed. I have purchased for many, many years from Peter Alexander. Every Easter and every Christmas my children, and now grand-daughter always received Peter Alexander pj's. We all love them, and it has become a tradition. However after making 3 large orders recently I had to return 3 tops that were a size too big (I checked online whether they were available) and requested the smaller sizes (I tried to take them back to a store but the stores had closed the day before due to Covid). They were posted to PA at the end of March. I...am still waiting for the tops (all paid for). I have tried emailing numerous times however I just keep getting the standard 'Covid response’. I've had 2 emails where you can put whether you are happy with the response or not happy, and a written explanation, however when you try and send it it won't allow you too. I am bitterly disappointed at the service and frustration of having paid for these items and now I don't even have them in my possession. I couldn't even find a phone number to contact them although I believe I may have tracked one down tonight .... fingers crossed. The experience has definitely impacted my potential future purchases. So disappointed Peter Alexander!
Comfortable and High Quality
The pyjamas I have bought are true to size, the website was easy to navigate and delivery was faster than expected. I would definitely repurchase from the website. Returns were also quick and easy to complete, since online orders can be returned in store.

I was given a pair of slippers for xmas a few years ago they were pink with a pom-pom on the top. There were in an add with a girl walking across a crossing in her pjs Peter Alexander brand and she was wearing the pink slippers.
