The tastiest thing about this is the waffle cone. This is the worst plant-based ice-cream/dessert I've ever had, it tastes like ice, not even vanilla flavoured. In fact, I had to check the ingredients to see what it was made from because I couldn't taste coconut/soy/oat, it was so bland. I'm lactose intolerant so not only have I had every dair… Read more
alternative out there, but was excited when a big brand had a version of a well-known favourite and I was excited for the soft ice cream, but I only had a few bites then ate some of the cone and it went in the bin. Very disappointing, and absolutely not worth the price (I only tried it because it was 50% off). Chew on an ice cube, it'd taste better.
Not the real ice cream I grew up with I recently bought a 4-pack of Peters Drumsticks, and I am incredibly disappointed. This is simply not real ice cream anymore. The texture is bizarre—it has a foamy, almost "plastic" consistency that doesn't melt… Read more
naturally and leaves a strange film in your mouth.
Whatever happened to using real milk and cream? It feels like the recipe has been swapped for cheap oils and stabilizers, resulting in an artificial taste that is just awful. It’s a shame to see such a classic Aussie icon turn into a "frozen dessert" that lacks any of the richness it used to have. I won't be buying these again. I can only assume this change is because the company is no longer Australian-owned.
Follow-up · Real ice cream has a rich velvety mouthfeel and a clean dairy finish that doesn't leave a waxy or oily film on your palate. Authentic cream-based ice cream melts smoothly and tastes intensely of fresh milk and natural vanilla. It melts into a liquid state similar to thick cream rather than a foamy or gummy consistency. The texture of real ice cream is dense and heavier. Big difference.

The wife brought a box last week from Woolies Browns Plains, I just had one and they are disgusting. Looks like shaved ice, definitely not Ice Cream. 20mm of the contents missing, has Soy in it and other vegetable oils. Tasteless rubbish being charged at a premium price, not the drumsticks from 50 years ago. Never buy again. Minus 5 stars. Show details

Peters Drumsticks – Cone was soggy ice cream topping melted and refrozen from Woolworth or factory, I don't know. All and all just plan crape.but not just once, the last two times that I purchased from two different stores.
NEW Fugde choc hazelnut Drumstick! – The new Fugde Drumstick! Omg. Delish! Includes hazelnut flavour ice cream. And choc fudge. Seriously the best drumstick I’ve ever had! If you like hazelnut flavour, you’ll love this. A must buy and try! Show details
Disgusting! Flavour has been changed!!! – We kept thinking that we were buying OLD drumsticks. My daughter kept complaining how disgusting the super chocolate Drumsticks taste. I thought they tasted gross as well. It tasted like a fruity alcohol in the chocolate ice cream part. Hubby, who is an ice cream connoisseur, said it tasted like they added a strange cherry flavour to the ice cream… Read more
part.
We finally realised what happened.
When they changed to the NEW box design (the box on the ‘right’), they also changed the FLAVOUR of the ice cream!! It’s DISGUSTING!!!
We luckily found an old box design in one store (pictured Left in the photo) and the ice cream was perfect!!
But now that they’ve RUINED the flavour, no more business from us!
We will NO longer be purchasing their disgusting ‘new’ drumsticks! :(
Where's the ice cream? – They were on special so I bought these for a change only to find that two out of the four Drumsticks had three quarters of the ice cream top missing. Certainly not something that you would expect! I tried to enter (below) where I bought them but the drop down choices are odd...mostly medical? Show details

Drumsticks are better than Cornetto – I am writing this review because I have always enjoyed drumsticks. Then I decided to try a cornetto. The cornetto was worse than any ice cream I have ever had. So basically I am saying that a drumstick is 5 times better than a cornetto. Show details
Disappointing Peter's Drumstick - half the size – EDIT: I received a call from a representative from Peter's, the issue was a quality control issue. Massive apologies from Peter's along with a voucher to purchase more drumsticks..I am very happy with the company and their quick response. I purchased a multi pack in my regular shop and when I opened my first one, it appeared to be almost half… Read more
the size if the previous multi pack I purchased. Price remains the same. The packaging was the same size as usual but the actual product was hiding down the bottom of the packet!! I will think twice before purchasing again. Very disappointing, as they are my favourite. I have sent Peter's feedback on their website.
Best vanilla drumstick I've had – So due to the heat I've been buying a lot of ice blocks. I get what's on special. Bought a box of 16 Peters Vanilla Drumsticks. The ice ream is just so creamy. Really enjoying them Show details

This product is herendous. Lots of profits for upper management I'm sure. I ate these all my life. They now just taste like whipped fat of who knows what origin and what other dodgy ingredients are accompanying that. It's not icecream at all and they should be ashamed for serving such rubbish. $6 at the servo. Never again. Yuk. Show details

Half the size that they used to be but over twice the price. I bought boysenberrie but had a hard time finding any. Opened the wrapper to find everything had 'shrunk' but increased in price. Very disappointed and won't buy again. Show details

Bought the vegan drumsticks for my dairy free daughter. Absolutely putrid, icy tasteless "ice cream", waxy chocolate that left an oily mouth feel. Half the size and double the price, what an absolute shame, another product to avoid. Show details
No Iced Latte – All of my local supermarkets (WA) are no longer stocking the Iced Latte (my favourite). It has been replaced by the saucy strawberry and caramello. Very disappointing.
Fake ice cream and fake taste – What a shock. No more real ice cream. More like shaving cream. Sickly sweet manufactured taste. What a disgrace. Once a great product now gone down hill on the cheap and nasty quality side. Bring back the original version. This one is crap. I would rather pay extra than have to buy this ever again as it is. Classic Vanilla Drumstick- bloody ordinary – I bet that this Drumstick isn’t real ice cream. I suspect that it is that fake ‘frozen dessert’. Chocolate is ordinary. Not creamy chocolate. It all tastes fake and disappointing. Aldi’s icecreams are way better than this. Show details
Can’t be peters cones – Just opened a peters mini 6 drumstick pack straight from our freezer as normal. Absolutely rubbish. The supposed ice cream was like sloppy imitation cream, and not like ice cream. The cone was soggy and felt like card board, not crunchy, won’t be buying from Coles again. Show details
‘Ice cream’ ?? – Bought two drumsticks at the cinema at $5.50 each! Haven’t had one in years and was surprised by the smaller size, then the taste and feel of it, I couldn’t eat it so I put it to the side, 2 1/2 hours after buying this ice cream and it did NOT melt! Disgusted to think what I was actually eating, shame on you Peters ‘ice cream’ Show details
No quality what so ever – Absolutely disappointing. Bought 2 packs of peters drumsticks. Both packs the icecream was iced over. No doubt coles turning on off freezers to save costs that's caused this. However the drumsticks had only ice cream on the top part not in the cone area. This left the cones soft and hollow. We pay the price rises as no choice if we want one. But… Read more
I expect the product for the lrice to be what I'm paying for. Absolutely never again . Do not recommend them or buying icecream at Coles.
Very disappointing, never again! – Bought two yesterday for a treat at premium price from the corner store. They have certainly shrunk in size and what happened to the flavour! Definitely wasn't ice CREAM, and left a funny after taste. This Aussie icon has passed its use by date, and we will never buy again. Show details

Rubbish – Used to be good, now are crap. Embarrassing to buy. Are they made in China now? Show details
Persons hair in icecream – The drumsticks tastes good but I recently found hair in the icecream itself, really poor quality control which genuinely saddens me Show details
Fake everything now – Absolutely disgusting now. Bought the chocmint to relive old times. They now weigh literally about 50 grams. The chocolate is runny straight out of the fridge. Peanuts gone. What happend to such a great product Show details
Disappointing – These have always been my favourite icecream, I buy bulk packs for my husband and I as we’ve both always enjoyed them. Unfortunately though the quality has been going backwards for some time. While the icecream itself is still fine, the cones have become soggy, rubbery and unpleasant to eat. We’ve recently started buying the cheaper Coles brand… Read more
equivalent, as they don’t have this tendency. Their icecream perhaps isn’t as creamy but at least the cones are as crunchy as a Peter’s Drumstick cone should be.
drumstick price – has the price of ice cream drumstick ever been $9.00
My once favourite – Peter’s drumstick icecream have lost a lot of appeal , very stingy on the toppings, especially those in packs from supermarket.
Small Drumsticks – Reduced size not acceptable ,too small to satisfy ones hunger. Show details
Peter's drumsticks – Stick it to the BP hoxton park & don't pay $5.50c on drumstick. Instead go to Woolworths & pick ⛏️ up a pack of 16 for $20. Thats $1.25 each drum stick. That's a saving of$2.25c.
