Prices were great but then my order took so long I ended up having to place an order with a local which came the next day. Unfortunately I am still waiting for my order which is still in transit. Apart from good prices, the delivery lets them down.
Best price I could find and I didn't use delivery because of their terrible reviews but I found that pick up was great friendly service and cheapest I could find. Rhodes is a little out of my way but worth it.
It took a week before two items were even packed for delivery. Two weeks to receive.
I placed my order early morning on the 14th, and it’s now the 20th — still not even shipped! This is really disappointing. I used to love Petso for their fast delivery, but this experience completely changed my mind. Time to find a more reliable supplier.
Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been extremely frustrating. Customer service is virtually non-existent and any attempts to get assistance by phone are routed to an overseas call centre that offers little to no help. To make matters worse, they use Aramex for deliveries - widely regarded as one of the least reliable couriers in Australia. Despite multiple follow-ups with both Petso and Aramex, my parcel has still not been delivered.
There are many other reputable online pet supply stores with far better service and delivery reliability. I strongly suggest shopping elsewhere to avoid the hassle I’ve encountered.
Just stay away from that company as they do not know what they are doing. I ordered dog treats for $40 including $10 delivery fee. What could be easier? I paid using GPay, received the confirmation. Wow! They want photo of my credit card to keep me safe... It is like give a wallet to complete stranger and think the wallet is safe now. You do not really know where your personal details will be ended and how they will be stored and processed. I called them to see if it was a mistake some sort, but I was reassured I have to provide my credit card image "to ensure the security of all parties involved". They allow me to cover some numbers on the card :). I requested the order cancellation and full refund, which is been processed now, hopefully.
Bottom line: if you are mature enough to look after your own security, just shop somewhere else. Also, if some issues arise on very first stage, I'd expect more done the road.
I purchased Petso online with numbers of items for my puppy eg; foods toys treats included shampoo + conditioners dermacare Aloveen Oatmeals 1 each but they did not packed the conditioners in my order to me but extra 2 shampoos i do not need. i purchased as accusations that i lied and sent them through email and also require me to organise return shampoo through them by they will send delivery courier to come and pick up with date and time that courier service will made contact to me. I am not a pay staffs of their company nor a pay staffs of courier service in stead they with held my refunds up until now not even pay back as i request refunds of conditioner purchased but no delivrry and even today it 's stolill had no refunds
Emailed them to see if they had something in stock, ended up on their spam list. Still waiting for a response to a simple question. Have since ordered from another online pet store.... I won't bother with "petso" in future.
My experience was pretty good but they tend to give you a tracking number well before they actually ship it. Took 3 days to leave their premises but got to me quickly. Overall happy but they need to attend to their shipping processes as Shipit is convoluted and inaccurate. Ps shipping insurance is a con as petso are responsible for non delivery.
Best pet food online retailer in Australia – PETSO is fantastic! They provide premium dog food at the most competitive prices. There were no issues with delivery; I received items 2-3 days after ordering. I was weary of ordering with PETSO initially due to all the negative reviews, but they have only delivered a positive experience thus far.
Terrible carrier service and customer service – Terrible carrier service for delivery; and when package was lost, was declined a refund. A shame as if they had shown interest in their customer, they’d have kept a long term customer ! The updates on shipping are also terrible, with tracking numbers not working or delayed.
good product but horrible choice of delivery service – you were good, but if you keep use direct freight express your customers will never get things they ordered
terrible first experience – i purchase and paid for priority shipping as i needed items urgently. Petso priorty is supposed to be next day delivery. I wait 2 days. Call on 3 day eta is not for another 3 days. Why offer a service you cant deliver upon

Horrible when there’s a problem with shipping – I paid for shipping protection on an order which shipped on 18/03/2024, the order was not delivered, and was returned to the sender by Australia Post on 17/04/2024. them directly on 09/05/2024 requesting a refund, and again no reply. On 21/05/2024 I emailed again asking for a reply. They replied and asked if I wanted the order posted again or refunded. I thanked them and requested a refund. On 22/05/2024 they then refund one item out of the entire order ($3.99 refunded from a $127.91 order). I emailed again requesting for the entire order to be refunded and am still pending a resolution. All of this after paying for their “shipping protection”. DO NOT PAY FOR THE SHIPPING PROTECTION, they do not do anything extra to assist when there are problems with shipping.
Hopefully things will pick up – Used to be fantastic, you could get really great cat food from Germany. Something has happened in the New Year, they've been having perpetual sales and delivery is quite slow. I hope things pick up again. If they do I'll come back and add a few stars. Customer service is great.

My cat eats only one type of food which I have been buying in sets of 2 week worth bulk as it`s too expensive to buy more in one go for me. They don`t send it for 2 weeks!! So what - my poor baby doesn`t have anything to eat as this type of food unfortunately can`t be purchased from big walk-in stores.. They don`t have any courtesy to let customers know if they experience any delay (so pet owners can rule out plan B) - just go silent and take cover after charging your credit card..
