Plenti Green Loans

I recently applied for and was approved for a solar loan (through my provider). The application process was seamless and hard to fault. It was approved within 24 hrs. The process completed day after installation and again seamless. Happy to recommend!

The form was a bit misleading but I got it completed in the end would have been better if it would have saved, I left the page to get a downloaded folder and when I came back all my information was deleted had to complete the form. again. Called up to confirm correct files where uploaded, people on the phone where very helpful.

In my initial application I was unable to complete my identity verification as the computer system would not recognise my drivers licence. I had to speak with my battery installer to contact Plenti. Plenti then sent me an email saying that my application was in process and that they needed pictures of my ID for identification purposes. I did this.… Read more

I then heard nothing more from them. I assumed the loan application was underway and that further correspondence would be forth coming. In the mean time the Battery Installer who said they were handling the process after I had done the application Plenti; brought the installation date forward. The batteries were installed, but the battery installer had not confirmed with Plenti that our loan had been confirmed. Apon checking, the loan application had not progressed and we had not been given the loan. We received an Invoice from the battery installer for $10,000 more than we expected to pay. Plenti correspondence with us was not good. We had to reapply, and submit document of proof. This resulted in a denyied application as it was very unclear as to what they actually needed. We resubmitted more documents with an explanation cover letter which as not read by the teams handling the documents until i had to ring and follow up. We eventually got the loan to our relief. But the process of dealing with online portals that don’t work, unclear instructions on what is required, Teams of people dealing with your enquires rather than single people following through was frustrating. Make sure you have lots of proof to substantiate your income. Follow up when you don’t hear back.

I was served by an Australian based person who knew exactly what I needed and with their help, my loan application was then processed and conditionally approved within a few hours.

Very quick and easy to follow and use process. I needed to call the helpline number to discuss an issue of my own making and the person could not have been more helpful. Overall it was a fantastic experience.

Solar Battery NIL - quick and easy application and account set-up processes which took very little time to complete. Information available was straightforward, concise and informative with all concerns addressed easily.

I found the whole process of organising a loan from Plenti, to install and connect and a battery system to my solar panels, to be a rewarding experience. It was uncomplicated, hassle free and gave you ample help to provide the information required. It felt safe and secure providing my personal information required to complete the application and would definitely recommend Plenti.

When Henry contacted me and explained how the installation of solar panels I got the impression that I would not have to pay a monthly payment and that the power put into the grid would cover our power bill. I did ask what the $175.00 was about but he said to ignore it.

Had to go through the process twice to accept the loan because they decided they didn't get the right information after the first acceptance and signature. Don't seem to be very well organised.

Horrendous application process. Plenti administers the WA Govt No Interest Solar Loan available to West Australians. Plenti is atrocious in the way they do their business. Self employed borrowers with one or more credit cards. Or maybe they feel you have sufficient cash to fund it yourself. Or any other reason. It doesn't matter. They won't tell you. Even if you ask them before or after application - they won't tell you anything. Plenti's business model is to only collect some online financial information from you, where they don't make valid attempts to assist you and instead just decline your application.

Don't use them. AVOID PLENTI Go to lenders that actually care about you. Because Plenti doesn't. The only thing they will do is impair ie reduce your credit score - maybe by a 100 points. What's the experience like? The best example I can use is, you're thinking of buying a car and use a service provider to review and inspect it prior to buying. And the outcome is that they don't lift the bonnet to make proper checks, they send you a totally generic email with your first name in it as the only personalised item in the report. What does it mean? Nothing. What if you call them to ask for what you should do? The lovely staff members will tell you nothing. Why? it's not them or you, Plenti just have a business code of conduct - where the staff can't or aren't allowed to say anything. That makes their business practice unconscionable - because they will happily let you think that they care and take your information, but they don't, they rather impair your credit score.

Applying for the Plenti loan was easy. The procedure was shown step by step with explanations if needed. I'm usually quite anxious filling out such forms and I was, but in the end, there wasn't anything to be anxious about !

time, investigation and some frustration. I feel the process could be improved. The rate is Govt controlled to be zero interest with minimal if any additional costs so very happy with the rate.

Outstanding service provided by Plenti. They were extremely responsive and efficient. Our solar installing company contacted Plenti in the mornning; Plenti contacted me prior to the solar company confirming they had contacted Plenti and the next morning, our application was approved. We were very impressed.

The team was very easy to deal with! The first time I called, the lady took some notes and the second time, I spoke to another person and she had access to the notes straight away.
