Completed my first skill set course (TAE) it was much more structured and understandable than I some how negatively imagined, possibly due too being my least favourite training method (Online). Instructional video after video really was effective and so resourceful in the learning journey. How structured, planned, supported and quickly marked, with appropriate needed feedback. Very Well done Plenty Training. No regrets period. Mick G. Show details

I was skeptical at first shopping around organisations that provide Diploma of TAE, finally I put my step in Plenty and until now after graduation, I strongly believe I made the right decision. Plenty Training provided me a lot of helps, quick and very very professional and friendly learning services. Their online platform was so easy to use,… Read more ·  1

their trainers were supportive, materials were easy to understand... and they returned feedback very quick as well. I had no issues navigating the platform and access the resources I needed. Therefore, I completed my assessments smoothly and finished the course quicker than I thought. Plenty Training also had a student community group chat on Facebook, where I connected to the other students and offered help to each other. Luckily, my current workplace was very supportive as well, so I completed the course without any issues. The certificates were issued within only 2 business days. I really appreciated the time I took with Plenty, highly recommend.

Excellent organised TAE40116 – I have completed TAE40116 in 8 months. However, I was actively studying for just 4 months. The resources are more than sufficient for understanding the topic and assessment requirements. Student support is professional and responsive. supportive. PT FB Community group was helpful. I met and worked with a reliable and supportive group of students which worked well for all of us. The assessment results were given in a timely manner with constructive feedback. I recommend PT for TAE40116 whenever an opportunity to do so. I hope to work as a PT team member someday in the near future too Thank you very much ❤

natural for us to expect the trainers to know their job in coaching us through, but then the back office is just as important. The support from the enrolment and support teams made me feel valued and responded timeously to queries that I raised.

If I was to give anyone wishing to take the above Qualification some pointers, it is this; - Plenty Training are obligated to follow the Standards that ASQA dictates to RTO's who are approved to train in the TAE40122 Certificate IV in T&A Course. This results in duplication between units. - It pays to organise a folder structure in your computer and save the resources from each unit / module, and you can save time to answer similar questions that duplicate from one of the modules to another. - The videos presentations are clear and the presenters make you feel as if you in a face to face session. It is easy for your mind to wonder when watching. I encourage you to concentrate as many helpful tips are given through the clips.. - Attend the sessions on a Tuesday and Thursday to raise questions of your own and see if others have similar questions that indirectly help you. - Find others that are doing the same Course as some of the units require you to work with other learners and be assessed. - If you want to save time, attend some of the paid-for workshops, the facilitators are excellent.

I could see that Plenty Training went the extra mile to assist me, but at the end of the day they can only help you help yourself. Then you can stand proud to follow a career in assisting to train others, as I am looking forward to do.

I completed my TAE40122 Certificate IV Training and Assessing with Plenty Training. Like other reviewers on here, I found the support provided by Plenty Training to be almost non-existent. The repetitive questions were soul destroying and made me question my sanity - I initially though that I was imagining answering the same questions over and… Read more

over but nope, I wasn't imagining it. There was not anywhere near enough information on RPL or mapping but by golly there was a lot on diversity, inclusion and equity! Video upon video on DEI and how to make people feel safe and comfortable by not using pronouns and using gender-neutral terminology. I understand that this is a part of our daily life but it does not need to be flogged like it is in this course. Other videos have a trainer that is not wearing a headset while recording and so it is very difficult to hear what she is saying.

The computer system is extremely clunky and outdated - be prepared to become extremely frustrated and want to throw your computer through the wall. Which brings me to my next point - make sure you have a computer or laptop because their lessons and assessments do not work on any mobile device. This was not made clear on enrolment and I ended up having to buy a laptop as I only need a tablet for my everyday use. Plenty Training are very aware of their website's clunkiness and not being user friendly and talk about it in one of the early videos and the one face to face lesson I was able to attend (had to take time off work as it's mandatory and only available during business hours) where they openly admit that it won't be updated anytime soon. Let's not forget to mention assessments that aren't properly unlocked so emails need to be sent to student support asking for this to be done. A new assessment is then emailed and all answers in the previous document need to be copy and pasted into the new one - more time and an unnecessary exercise in frustration, which seems to be the standard emotion felt with this company. You only get three chances to be marked competent on your assessment, if you need more than this then you get charged an additional $200 fee per attempt - this was also not made clear on enrolment.

Reading through previous reviews (which I wish I'd done prior to enrolling instead of taking my colleague's recommendation at face value), it sounds like the videos haven't been updated in a while (years?) so there's a lot of money being made by reusing the same videos over and over and over. If you don't attend their face-to-face classes - that are flogged at you mercilessly throughout the course and with an additional fee of course - then expect to have to complete a statutory declaration for every single workplace observation assessment when a third party report would suffice.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed with Plenty Training and this course. I struggled through this course - not with the content but with the sheer repetitiveness of the assessment questions, video 'lessons' that don't really teach you anything useful, and the only good thing to come out of it is that it's finished and I got the bit of paper. Now excuse me, I'm off to research and teach myself about RPL and mapping as well as anything else I find along the way.

An okay experience. I wouldn't say it was the best learning experience I've had. Avoid at all costs – This RTO gaslighted me when I questioned some of the activities. The questions contradicted themselves, as a registered teacher I know how to write questions, but was told that they did not contradict themselves and that no one else had problems. The RTO also provided incorrect information in multiple distance lessons. The information was… Read more

systematically incorrect, so it really concerns me that there are entire cohorts of learners from PT who have been told the incorrect information by trainers who also had no idea how to pronounce the terminology (the Academic Manager and Academic Coordinator among these). What is worse, rather than learn how to pronounce terminology, the Academic Manager at one stage laughed and said that she never knew how to say that word. As the Academic Manager of the RTO, that really concerned me.

At other times, the Academic Manager made comments about the education system that were out of her scope and were also systemically incorrect - which to me shows so much unprofessional conduct.

Lastly, assessments were convoluted, repetitive and marked by incompetent assessors who do not have currency. Plus, assessors did a poor job of returning assessments promptly, I was often waiting close to a month. When changes needed to be made, the assessor was unable to clearly articulate what was wrong and what needed changing. On one occasion, the question asked for an explanation, but the assessor marked it as not satisfactory, because I did not provide examples - the question did not ask for them. On another occasion, the same assessor (the Academic Coordinator) told me that a logo was not sufficient, despite the fact that it was a screenshot and the question asked for a screenshot. Upon questioning this, rather than admit she made a mistake, the Academic Coordinator said that although its not what the question asked for she would accept it.

I'm also convinced that from what I've seen, no real action will be taken from negative feedback. I note that similar comments have been made over time, but no changes have been made.

Not greatly impressed – I undertook the TAE40122 Cert IV Training and Assessment. This was the first extra-school training I have done since my trade. I had no idea of what was involved nor how much work it would require. I had no real practical study suggestions and no clue as to the amount of writing involved. I have discussed my experience with other students and… Read more

found a similar mentality exists with most of them. The amount of repetitive answering of similarly-worded questions was absolutely soul destroying and so frustrating that I nearly gave up multiple times. It's one thing to tell us that you can integrate some recorded video classes to save work but the seemingly-endless writing of the same answers over and over and over and over was downright depressing. And to tell us to use friends or family or fellow students to stand in as classmates is one thing, but to then ask us to invent backstories and fictional work history and reasons for them to undertake the course is just nonsense. My son took the class I taught because I needed him to, and not because he had an interest in the subject, not because he wants to get a job in the industry and NOT because he is wanting to do further study. To write rubbish about his supposed work history or his possible learning difficulty is entirely a waste of precious time and a stressful waste of mental energy. I did not enjoy that part of the course at all. There were errors in the documents and many of the links for further online information did not work. This course placed stress on my marriage and my mental health. I cannot recommend this course at all, especially considering that the less complicated, older course TAE40116 is still being accepted by employers.

Disappointed – Inconsistencies from the start. In an online class environment it’s all copy, paste and tick the box. In an individual format it’s near on impossible to access any relevant support. do the marking so it’s in their best interest to mark down to gain a few extra hours of work. An overall disappointing experience. On a positive note everyone I spoke to at Plenty was polite. The office staff always did their best to email the teachers/assessor’s to get back in contact in a timely manner. This intense type of course would be better suited to a structured class room where interactions can be clear and concise instead of dodgy internet and zoom set ups. I would not recommend Plenty training to anyone and in fact our business has ceased putting through any more enrolments. This course sets students up for failure, not success.
