and that isnt necessary in my pool - so doenst do a good job of cleaning the bottom. i have emailed Poolbot 4 times and received an automated ticket of receipt of my email but have not received any return communications from them. this is pathetic follow up service very unhappy. they are impossible to contact otherwise.
Follow-up · Follow up responses - the warranty period is 2 years - its now 6 months old and has been failing since 3 months. the app is not essential but as the physical buttons dont work i thought the app might override that issue. yes tried troubleshooting as per instruction manual. still receiving emails confirming that i have submitted an email to them but ZERO response.

and to the Importer in Victoria. End result is the Pool shop at Windsor advised they could not contact the Importer and distributor and could not help me. I paid $1,100 for a robot pool cleaner that had a life span of 18 months. A very expensive exercise both Poolandspawarehouse at Windsor and their other store at Jamieson refused to help me with a repair or replacement. Despite many emails and two trips to the pool shop plus letters and emails to the supplier Robot My Life 10/3 Clyde Sstreet Ferntree Gully, Victoria I also forwarded videos of the machine running around my pool not sucking up anything. A $30.00 hose is now my go to manually cleaning the pool. Dont trust this Robot150 pool cleaner or the two businesses I tried to get help from. Customer service does not exit......THE TAKE YOUR MONEY THATS ALL THEY ARE INTERESTED. NOT HAPPY ........Suzanne

what a piece of rubbish stopped working after 7weeks of use really hard to talk to someone for service so pulled apart to see and it is full of moisture Show details
Incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with this robot. I wouldn't recommend wasting your money - or your sanity for that matter. I purchased this in March thinking it sounded like the perfect fit for my natural rock style pool. Only a few days in, not working. I advised the manufactured and happily troubleshooted.. thinking it would… Read more
be a one off. Here we are in September and now it appears both the seller and the manufacturer have ghosted me. At one point in July I was told a return label was coming, that ever eventuated. Seems the manufacturer doesn't care / deflects and the seller is not willing to accept any type of responsibility for the item. The robot is highly flawed and has clear manufacturing errors. It will stop working for no reason and the company will have you working on it like a mechanic - unscrewing it and pulling it apart. Beyond ridiculous. I find it pretty outrageous that they would expect this to be normal practice. The company I bought it from also faceless and unhelpful, I was initially and somewhat condescendingly advised it was 'just an entry level machine' that's ok because I literally bought it for the moat of my pool appx 16 x 2 metres, 20,000n litres. It should just turn on, plain and simple. @poolandspawarehouse. www.poolandspawarehouse.com.au manufactured by @robotmylife. https://robotmylife.com.au/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=17732611146&utm_term=robotmylife&utm_content=711855155941&cmc_adid=ga_711855155941_17732611146&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=17732611146&gbraid=0AAAAABinbjZxyj2KFkrPpeuF1qCXjCghK&gclid=CjwKCAjw2vTFBhAuEiwAFaScwgMXXhIEpjgOrMh5TcWjBp4Dz-HADNwVAVDjfazF3VGdNMg10Rqx8xoC_yQQAvD_BwE

I am at a stage where manual pool cleaning has become too difficult. Now with the use of Poolbot I can enjoy sitting back and watching my pool being clean. Fine debris is no longer an issue, leaf litter on occasions floats away, but overall the pool clean is very good. Great value for money. Show details
The poolbot 150 is the best pool cleaner we have owned and we have tried many It leaves our pool sparkling clean We get many compliments about how much cleaner our pool is since we bought thisWe have a lot of leaves which the poolbot has no trouble picking up Show details
We bought a Poolbot B150 as our barracuda packed it in, so did some research and bought it. It's cordless where the barracuda wasn't and it does the same only a lot cheaper. No complaints from us. Show details

Follow-up · To follow up, as product review has said there have been a couple of questions. Firstly, the charger didn’t fail, it got damaged in a large Reno. I didn’t really get to try the pool cleaner, as shortly after buying It, we did the Reno. When I first contacted PoolBot they said they had a second hand charger for $100. My first robot. I’ve only had it a week, but my current experience: 9x5m fibreglass pool, 0.8-1.8m shallow to deep. I get paper bark leaves for large trees and bottlebrush pollen, I’ve taken pictures of before and after from this mornings cleanup.… Read more
The little guy runs a treat… picked up all but 1 leaf which is great considering there were many. For half the price of the others, so far so good… a great little easy to use machine.

Follow-up · Filter in the bot seems to grab almost everything, big and small (lots of banksia flowers) It gets ‘almost’ all the leaves. Generally a good pool cleaner, picks up debris and fine dust particles quite well. My issue however is that it can't manage the steps on my pool. Other reviews and product description says it can manage steps, I guess everyone's pool is different… Read more
but when it's doing the walls and reaches the steps, it gets confused, either keeps going back and doing the same area, or gets stuck. Once at this point, it just decides it's finished with the walls and does the floor instead. Shame, otherwise it's a good cleaner.

This is about Robot My Life's service. THERE IS NONE! If you want to contact them and to speak to a human for any reason. Forget it! Mission Utterly Impossible! back please" - Nothing! When I discovered so many negative reviews about Robot My Life and then also realised that these cordless robotic pool cleaners seemed to have a life span of only about 7 months I decided to cancel my order. I cancelled the order one day after purchase but it took many no-response phone calls to the robot telephonist and many emails through their website (only to receive generic generated emails telling me B/S.) Fortunately I paid through Paypal, they started a dispute on my behalf. I got a refund, it took 84 days and I reckon if Paypal hadn't gone to bat for me I probably would have never got a refund. Don't buy from Robot my Life, they are at the very least unsafe and at the most - scammers
Poor charging port design, even poorer customer service UPDATE - Better charge port design. Really good customer service – This is an update to a review i posted a few weeks ago on 07 Oct 23. After submitting the previous review, i was able to contact RobotMyLife via phone and spoke with Mary. I advised her of my situation and queried what was happening with my PoolBot warranty repair, and was again told there were still delays. I then queried why some other customers… Read more
had been offered a new (improved design) Poolbot replacement in very quick time yet i had been waiting nearly 3 months for mine to be repaired. Mary said she would raise it with the manager and within less than a week, i had a new and improved design PoolBot 150. I put it to immediate use and like the previous version, it does a really good job of cleaning the pool. The new charging port design is way better and the PoolBot itself even appears to have a slightly longer run time (About 100-105 minutes vice the 90 minutes of the old one). Overall, happy with this product. As i'm unable to amend or update the original review, i thought it only fair that i leave a new review and give credit where it is due. Whilst the issue did take time to resolve, dealing with Mary has been pleasant. She is always polite and respectful on the phone. I am still happy with the product itself and the customer service here was extremely good.

Poolbot B150 Our Fantastic Hard-Working Robot Pool Cleaner Changed our Lifestyle – We had a Kreepy Krauly - 21 years of loyal service until it's sudden death Feb 2023. We purchased a Robot My Life (RML) PoolBot B150 in May 2023, my partner was impressed and enthusiastic after seeing it at the Sydney Home Show reduced $400 as a show special to $1050:00. We had a look at it on the R.M.L. website and found the $1450.00 price tag… Read more
was further reduced to sub $900:00 incl. delivery, it certainly looked a bargain price - our first foray into robot tools. It took a few weeks to arrive. Our pool was perhaps PB B150’s ultimate challenge (a pool with marblesheen coating built in the 60's) and it hadn't been cleaned for a few months. Picture a pool holding 65,000L. of dirty water so cloudy we were unable to see the bottom, green with algae, and detritus. Benefits: PB B150, took only 5 weeks once daily use to completely clean the pool. Schedule: Wk. 1. It scrubbed away algae - unable to climb walls, the filter basket material completely clogged. Wk. 2. It removed detritus - still a bottom dweller, filter basket opaque - required cleansing with hose pressure water to remove it. Wk. 3. Water Clarity approx. 70% PB B150 started climbing walls and doing wheelies and handstands on the bottom. The filter basket still saturated with grit and microscopic algae appeared to weigh it down. Wk.4. PB Started climbing pool walls hanging at the surface scrubbing tiles and cleaning the entire floor - clarity approx. 80%. Wk. 5. No longer a daily clean. Leaf basket filter material 95% clean of any gunk. A completely different cleaning pattern – PB Cleans all the pool walls first - bottom to surface (2m deep end) and then the entire floor area, including steps but poor PB B150 has sustained quite a few paintwork scratches, water clarity is about 98%. Wk. 5. until review date our pool is now spanking clean with sparkling pale blue crystal-clear water. We no longer require as much Cl or algaecide and in addition to the above description, it has made a really noticeable reduction to years old stains. It requires 6.75 hrs. charge but consistently get 1.75 hrs. run time. I note too many reviews advise follow up and contact a problem – we have not required to contact RML, but I do note it. Over this long review period other than my developing attachment problems to PB B150 and keeping it fastidiously clean we haven't encountered any problems. Conclusion: Even without bargain price - it is an easy-to-use hard working cordless pool cleaner. I give the PoolBot B150 a big gold 5-star rating for its excellent performance and features. I hope you find this review helpful. 29.09.2023

the charger (ok) & then the battery. The battery is not under a screwed plate, it is the bowels of the machine & near total disassembly is required to access it. Battery is fully charged but there is evidence of moisture encroachment. Salt water and electronics don't mix. In the absence on any supplier support whatsoever, I say don't be swayed by the "discount" & spend your money with a reputable dealer. Discounted from $1500? A $700 piece of junk. Will pursue through Consumer Affairs as time becomes available.

sent countless emails with a reply of being issued a ticket number of my lodging a query. In phoning there are two numbers, both automated. One that tells you to email them and the other dictated by an AI assistant who just rattles off the troubleshooting options listed online, without resolution the AI just lodges a ticket for someone to come back to me. A very frustrating process and ironic considering one of their emails is called makelifeeasier!!!
The worst pool cleaner in the world. The first one broke after 1 year. This company is the worst to deal with I have never had so much trouble ever. They are NOT in Australia. Purchased online from robotmylife, 2 weeks ago. (Delivery took one week, which is what I was advised for standard free shipping). Price was excellent $664. not work on the walls or get stuck in the steps/nooks. However, there have been no such problems with the B150. There are optional parts to attach (phone the helpline for instructions), if wall climbing is not working well, but I have not needed to install these. As stated in the manual, we get about 2 hours each use on the wall/floor setting. Overall happy to recommend after four months using the B150 several times a week due to near by street trees dropping leaves constantly.
Worked for a while, got the issue with the corrosion on the charging connector within a couple of months, dismissed by the supplier, now despite the power adaptor showing full charge, it runs for 30 seconds then dies with a yellow light. Only light use, perhaps once a fortnight. Conveniently only a couple of months out of warranty. What a waste of… Read more

Great pool robot, excellent run time and cleaning, quick recharge time. Compact and easy to use, easy to clean the filter basket. We have a lot of trees over our pool and it picks up leaves no problem. Highly recommend! Show details
We heard about the robot & after checking it out we decided to purchase our own. Perfect decision it’s works wonders - all the sand off the kids just disappears from the bottom - love our trees but not the little leaves - they are gone now.
