Port Shipping Containers

The 2x twenty foot containers turned up on semi tilt tray to deliver onto residential property. Had to get equipment to move containers into position. Very disappointed by company's lack of response over this debacle. Was an expensive lesson. Do not recommend at all.

Excellent service – We purchased a 20ft container from Port and very happy with their service. Had an issue in regard to selecting our container but salesperson Rex could not have been more helpful. He was very patient, understanding and easy to communicate with. The delivery was also smooth sailing thanks to the driver Scott from Lake City Towing.

Misleading advertising – Ad says we buy any container, any condition, any size. I rang to have my container collected, wasn’t really all that fussed about what I’d get for it as I needed it removed from the property only to be told they don’t take containers with holes or rust….okay then…so they don’t take them in any condition…change your ad then

I hope I never have to deal with them again !!!! – We were promised a refund on the delivery of our container after we purchased it but we got ghosted and lied to by two staff members. I have many emails telling us that a refund was initiated but the last one they had changed their story and decided not to refund any amount. Never trust this company as they will just mess you around.

containers (lately very common apparently) so I checked that Port Containers was a legitimate company. They have a local office close to me in Wallsend NSW, spoke to staff in the office and I was able to confirm all was good.

waiting for the container to be released from the port. They are selling products they do not own nor have in stock.

It has been nearly two weeks and we have still not received a container or refund. My staff received a phone call from them and were told to "Takedown your GOOGLE review or we will keep 10% of the $4372.50 you have paid."

My response to this, such a charming way to do business, provide nothing, keep your money for weeks and take 10% as per their flimsy terms that have never been signed.

These guys are crooks. Do not buy from port containers BRISBANE. After reading some of the reviews here, it appears Sydney and Melbourne are not much better.

We are now off to ACCC and court now, because I believe a judge and the ACCC need to hear how these guys do business. You have ripped off the wrong person, I do have time on my hands now and you're my next project, NO ONE is stealing my hard-earned $$$ and what you have done is classified as stealing.

Worse company ever – The sales team are a joke, happy to take your money and then offer you no time frame for delivery. Shoppers be warned. 5 days after the order and money sent still have no idea when they are delivered, especially when I was told the container was in the yard just down the road from the drop off.

It arrived within the time frame and the driver was personable and he went out of his way to make sure the Container was correctly positioned in the spot I had prepared. I then had to hire a truck and move everything to multiple locations. I ring up and cancel the containers as they weren’t delivered the week prior as promised. They try and smooth things over offer to have them delivered by 8:30am next morning. I had to return the truck at 9am. Of course they were late and I had to book the truck another day. I ask for a reduction in the delivery costs as there are multiple containers being delivered and the delivery address is now 50km closer. It is agreed to in writing however after over a month is still not paid. Alex was the sales person. Multiple “I’ll call you back in half an hour” and not returned the call. Offered reduction on deliver but didn’t refund it. Multiple times failed to deliver the containers when they said they would. All up, I’m around $13,000 out of pocket in additional transport, storage and damages costs because they didn’t deliver what they said they would. Would NEVER recommend this business.

No refund after waiting over 2 weeks – Ordered container on 14th to be delivered on 17th. Money was taken immediately from my bank. ($460.00) I phoned and canceled order on 15th, after realizing it would be impossible to get on my front lawn. (Not due to be delivered till 17th, so 2 days notice.) Phoned again and Wayne said he would find who was responsible for my account and I quote "Get them to do their job properly" Waited a few more days, still no refund. I phoned again, was put onto Corey who was handling my account and told their bank runs only happen every two weeks, and my refund would be in my bank by 28th. No refund. Phoned today, spoke to another person who told me my refund would be dealt with in due course. NOT HAPPY !! I wouldn't recommend dealing with this company. Too many different excuses re the delay in refunding money. Will take legal action if money not refunded.

Would not use this company, no after sales service – Container delivered with dents on every surface, not fit for purpose(storage)as unable to hang anything the length of any inside wall due to indentations. Unable to even attach verandah due to dented roof collecting water. Company refuse to answer calls and emails, would not recommend this company to anyone.

Shipping Container Supply and Delivery – Many thanks to Darren for his help with supplying and delivering our two containers. Aside from being quick, easy, and uneventful, the price was excellent. The delivery driver from Falcon Container Transport was incredibly helpful in placing the boxes exactly where we wanted them. Top job!!

Pre-paid $7150, Port never delivered, Money refunded only after threatening them with action – For three weeks I negotiated with [name removed] (State Manager for Sales) for a new build green H/C sea container no dents. On 25 Oct 2018 [name removed] emailed me that they had current stock "latest batch in top condition...OK to guarantee no dents". (green, guaranteed no dents) for $7150 (incl. GST) to be paid in two days and he asked for proof of payment which I sent to him on 28 Oct 2018.

Port Shipping Containers didn't deliver, and [name removed] didn't respond to me until 20 Nov 2018 when he emailed me saying "have not forgotten you - we are chasing new builds with no dents".

After 4 weeks of waiting I asked for a refund, then [name removed] offered me a blue one instead, which I refused and I demanded the refund.

[name removed] said the refund had to go through the Finance Officer, but "your funds should be back in your bank account Mon or Tuesday" which was more than a week later.

On Wed 28 Nov 2018 I spoke to a lady at the governmental department of consumer protection (DMIRS) and they advised me that this was a major breach of the contract, and they offered to assist me if I needed help. I then sent an email to [name removed] at Port Shipping Containers stating that they had breached the contract, and I demanded my refund be received by close of business on 30 Nov 2018.

I received the refund on 29 Nov 2018. I was given no reasonable excuse for non-delivery, and no offer of any compensation.

Dreadful company.

Just too many people in too many different departments thus messing the customer around. The person you negotiate with is not the person that you deal with. There's an area salesman, his departmental manager who OKs the transaction, a finance officer who is swift to take your money but slow to refund your money, and a guy who physically checks the sea containers but doesn't give a damn when he does it.

I told them that I won't do business with Port Shipping Containers ever again, and that I would let social media know how poor their customer service is.

the National Director all would be okay and that I'd have about 48 hours to get it sorted and this suited me. However to my shock and dismay, when I arrived at the site a few hours later, the locked container which still had my loose furniture and heavy goods inside had been taken. The container was returned to me several days later, at my additional expense, although upon opening, much of my goods were damaged and hadn't been tied down as agreed.

Numerous follow up calls and emails have not resolved the situation and I've been ignored.

A formal complaint has now been lodged with Office of Fair Trading Qld.

Great Service – We had three shipping containers picked up a delivered 800 klms, excellent service, updates all the way, took the stress out of such a big job. Would recommend to anyone, looking for a great service like this.

Very happy customer! – Excellent company to deal with. Not sure what the other reviewers below are going on about - looks like they are talking about a complete differently company that is listed. I went to there depot in Mayfield and picked out my container and had it delivered that afternoon! Had it placed exactly where I wanted it and everything. I don't think I could have asked for better service - 10 out of 10!
