Hi Betty, Hey I got rid of my Power boss a while back and replaced it with a BRIGGS AND STRATTON P3000. Best inverter, and RELIABLE. Hi, I moved to Innisfail QLD and the property came with a Powerboss PB2000i which I started up during a recent power outage due to a cyclone. The motor ran good but the unit is not generating any electricity, is there a fuse or similar that might be blown, I tested the on/off switch and it is okay. Hoping you can help me before the next outage. Ray
Take it in for a service! Best people are STIHL SHOP as they handle BRIGGS and STRATTON. Your generator has a Briggs and Stratton engine but third party electricals! This same thing happened to me and you will find its the reset button that needs fixing. This is why one bought a BRIGGS AND STRATTON, see my review on here for more!
From the Powerboss Operator's Manual: Start the generator with no appliances plugged in. The green light should come on. If not, look inside the side panel and get the Model, Revision and Serial Numbers. Then call the generator helpline 1800.436.372 who will advise who can service/repair it.

If you purchased a new generator then the warranty will contain a phone number for support. Alternately you should be able to find a Briggs & Stratton support centre via the internet and/or yellow pages

The owner's manual provides detailed instructions on the oil grades that can be used in the generator. The new generator will be delivered with a bottle of oil.
