I have been dealing with Thanh and Veenay from Precision Computers since 2004 and had four computer upgrades over that period the latest just this December. didn’t feel confident that I would receive the specialised technical advice I sought from a department store that primarily caters to home entertainment and white goods. Since this was a significant investment for me, I couldn’t afford any mishaps.

At Precision, I had the opportunity to discuss my needs in detail with someone I quickly came to regard as an expert in the field. Veenay was not only approachable and patient but also genuinely dedicated to helping me find the best value system tailored to my requirements. From my background research, I already had some rough ideas of what I wanted, so I was encouraged when my initial thoughts were confirmed. In areas where I felt uncertain or lacked knowledge, Veenay provided a clear breakdown of the pros and cons of each option, all without any pressure to choose one over the other, which empowered me to make my own informed decision. He also explained why some of the additional add-ons I was considering weren’t really necessary for my particular end use and I greatly appreciated his honesty as well as the cost savings.

In the end, my PC was delivered well within the specified schedule, and the build quality is outstanding. Based on previous computer purchases from other sellers, I had anticipated spending a frustrating amount of time on setup, dealing with endless prompt screens, updates, and the usual bloatware. However, in this case, the system simply started up fresh and clean (albeit with the necessary antivirus already installed) and was ready to go immediately. All in all, I’ve been extremely satisfied with the experience and wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else in the future.

I would like to emphasise that I am a genuine first-time customer of Precision with no previous history or affiliations with the company. My comments are based solely on my own experiences, and I have received no incentives or even the slightest encouragement or request to write a positive review.

would be sufficient for my needs. The computer has exceeded my expectations, especially considering duration of play (4-5hr sessions), handled the games thrown at it with ease (minecraft with shaders and mods, God of War, CS 2 with 500+ frames, it has also stayed cool never going above 70 degrees in the present humidity (no airconditioning). Did have some issues with key cap coming off and sticky key on the initial keyboard knucker elite (that came with the computer as a free bonus), but it was replaced immediately when it was returned to the store. Since the purchase both the keyboard and mouse have been upgraded to meet the playing demands, as both came as a free package with the computer. The replacements were not due to any faults/issues with the second keyboard or the mouse but more a personal choice, both input devices would not have met the rigors of continued use at the current level. The new keyboard had a better build quality and feel and the mouse had more range of DPI and better use/software, all at extra cost. Perhaps scrap the free bonus keyboard and mouse as part of the package with the PC at this level. This review will be updated, or a new review will be completed after 9-12months of use to provide more detail.

Gaming PC from Brisbane to Sydney – Would easily be 5 stars if not for the month and an additional week and a half for the PC to be built, shipped and delivered from Brisbane to Sydney. booted up right away no issues. The PC itself was decently packaged, no damage whatsoever on arrival. Went for a mid to high range build and arranged for an additional upgrade to one of the components with a simple request in an email.

The only negative I could find is that it took a month and another week and a half for the PC to get to Sydney from Brisbane so if you need a PC immediately, I would look for a store in Sydney. However, the huge tradeoff for Precision not being incredibly fast with the build and delivery speed is that they offer a great buy now pay later service with Humm, which the majority of other computer stores dont, especially in Sydney.

If you aim to use Humm and want a Gaming PC $3000 and above and are in no rush to have your PC in under a month then I highly recommend Precision for sure. Be warned they do use ARAMEX which I was not aware of before purchase.

I had an urgent data recovery need for important photos, and Precision Computers were incredible. Veenay was responsive, professional, and very knowledgeable - he helped me access the files I needed straight away while the full recovery was still running. an estimate of costs if he was able to assist 3. He called me a week or so later explained that he had obtained some hardware which he hoped would enable him to repair the SurfacePro. He had clearly done a lot of research to find this solution. 4. A few days later he called and said that the SurfacePro was ready for collection which was wonderful news, and after paying the quoted amount and collecting the laptop, it has been working well ever since. 5. I was very satisfied with the care and consideration given by Thanh in exceeding my expectations in delivering a difficult repair service within a reasonable time.

Fast and efficient. I showed up in person having issues with my Macbook. They were able to provide the reasoning and the fix. They were very kind and a pleasure to work with. Will visit again.

We have bought many computers from Precision Computers over the years and have been very happy with the quality of the product and the service that they have given us. We will continue to buy from them as they are a business that is honest and reliable in the way they conduct themselves.

I am so grateful to Veenay and his team for salvaging my precious family photos ( all 218,993 of them!) All these images were stored on a disk that suffered an internal failure and couldn't be copied or moved without professional help. My obvious distress about losing these memories was met with calm assurance and professionalism and I recieved regular updates by phone and email until the job was done. I have no problem recommending Precision Computers to anyone needing their data recovered from a HDD. My HDD was not responding to any initial method of accessing the data. Everything was explained to me in detail, I was extremely happy with the service and the retrieval of all of my files from the hard disk.
