pictures if I found anything (which we were certain I wouldn't). I also found the staff to be helpful over the phone. They were quick to scheduled an appointment and I am happy I was able to quickly confirm my home was bed bug free.

Long story short: I thought I had bedbugs, but Proven Pest Control came out and found no evidence of bedbugs. They did find the culprit - a mosquito that had somehow survived the recent frosts! The inspector did a very thorough visual inspection. Based on the professionalism and thoroughness of the inspection, I would definitely recommend Proven Pest Control for inspections and treatment.

Very professional company – I can't thank Proven Pest Control enough for how honest they were and how professional they were (he kept a face mask and gloves on the whole time and kindly removed his shoes before coming in our house). where they were hiding so we could get rid of them. I explained everything and showed him the only evidence I could find - an empty bug shell. After a quick look, he told us it was a carpet beetle. Amazing! Why would a guy who wanted us to hire him state that the bug I found wasn't the doomed bed bug?? Instead, he was honest and kind and eased my mind. I can now sleep again knowing we don't have these horrible creatures in our home, but also, I can sleep better knowing that decent, honest, hard working individuals actually exist and live in our area.

I found a pest control company on the internet called “Proven Pest Control”. Website: www.provenpest.net/. I requested a quote to do the Termite Inspection plus Refill of Termite Reticulation System (TermGuard System). The quote was $450 ($150 inspection + $300 chemical refill) in total. I wanted to make sure the service that I am getting is equivalent with the previous service provider. I was trying to get all the details such as chemical used, licence number etc. [name removed] (sales representative) had confirmed that the chemical used is Bifenthrin just a brand difference like Coles vs Worthworth. In order to satisfy my building structure warranty, I need to do the termite inspection every year and refill the reticulation barrier system every 3 years by licence pest control. And I have to do what the licence pest control recommends to do. Otherwise, my building structure would be void of warranty.

After two days consideration on 23/03/18, I had decided to make a booking for the service at 3pm on 4/4/18.

On 4/4/18, I received a phone call at approximately 11.45am from Proven Pest Control saying the booking had changed to 1pm. I quickly rush home for them. Unfortunately, no one turned up until 3.15pm. I didn’t even receive any apologies when the inspector turn up late since they had been changing the time slot for a few times in a day. The inspector ([name removed]) carried out the inspection and asked me to open the meter box to find out the details of the Termite Reticulation System. Approximately 4pm, [name removed] carried out the chemical refilling work. I witnessed that the chemical spilled all around the footpath next to the building at the second nozzle head. It was quite excessive amount that I was so concerned and asked the chemical was harmful. He said it was not harmful and added it will dry by itself. I was so worried about the spill then I kept asking to do something. He told me to use the hose to clean it up after the work. At around 4.45pm, chemical refill and inspection works were completed. [name removed] said everything was fine as expected. He asked for the payment and said the report will be sent to me in a few days later. I paid full amount $450 by credit card. And he asked me to use my finger to sign on his phone. Within a second, the receipt was sent to my email with my signature attached on their standard receipt template with a lot of term and conditions that was not seen before I signed.

After 5 days later on 9/04/18, I received the pest control report. I was shocked with recommendation on the report. Please see the following.

"A termite management system has been installed by another company and it is recommended you consult that company for full details of the installation."

I quickly contact the company to address the issue. The termite management system was installed by TermGuard Company 4 years ago. Why do we have to seek advice and consult with the previous pest control/Installer? [name removed] was the person replied my email to clarify “In your case we did not install the reticulation system & therefore have no knowledge of the procedures, works, stipulations or warranties carried out at said installation. It is our responsibility to make sure that you are aware that you should have those details in your possession in case needed in future for any issues that may arise from the said installation. As above we cannot remove this statement as it forms part of the termite report for your property. If you choose not to follow that recommendation it is your decision.”

We have paid Proven Pest Control for inspection and refill. It is nothing to do with the installation of reticulation system. If they were not confident and had no knowledge of the refill procedures, they should have not accepted the job at the first place. Further, it was never mentioned from beginning. Even [name removed] completed the work, he didn’t even address his concern about the refill procedure. It is only stated in the report after they received the payment.

I had been asking [name removed] from Proven Pest Control to re-word the report. Unfortunately, she refused. Until I told her that I have requested the reverse transaction from my credit card company. Another person named [name removed] claimed that he is the Legal Representative from the company sent me an email that they will be notifying my bank of my fraudulent behaviour. He will also file a Statement of Claim with NSW Small Claims Courts where I will be liable for all legal fees of up to $6500. Further, I will be listed on my permanent credit file and affect my national credit history. In addition, he claimed that the report they supplied has been checked and approved by governing bodies including the ACC, AEPMA and Fair Trading. In fact, I have spoken to [name removed] from Mastercard Card Company. He told me the dispute transaction is not possible since the partially service has been received. [name removed] recommended me to contact Fair Trading.

I was threatened by [name removed](Legal Representative). Therefore, I tried to go through more details about the report. I discovered more errors and mistakes in the report. 1. Incorrect Inspection Date/Time: 09/04/2018 6:10 AM. - The correct date/time: 4/4/2018 3.15pm 2. False claim of the standard Tools Used on the day of the inspection: Binoculars, Compass, Knife, Ladder (3.6m), Magnifying Glass (x10), Moisture meter, Powerful Torch, Sounding Device, Stepladder (2.1m), Screwdriver, Personal Protection Equipment, Tape Measure - The Powerful Torch, Stepladder and camera phone were only used on the day of the inspection 3. Incorrect Roof Covering/s: Concrete tile - The correct roof: colorbond roof/Metal Roof 4. Incorrect answer of Type of Treatment: Pre-Construction - It should be: Reticulation System 5. Incorrect answer of Evidence of Previous Treatment: Reticulation System - It should be yes or no answer. 6. Un-professional recommendation: A termite management system has been installed by another company and it is recommended you consult that company for full details of the installation. That was never mentioned at all from beginning. 7. The company ABN no. is not shown anywhere in the report even on their website. ABN shown in the report was the third party company that supplies the report template. The ABN no. is only shown on the receipt after the payment was made. 8. Also, I noticed the report is not checked and approved by any governing bodies including the ACC, AEPMA and Fair Trading that Alexander claimed.

Given that the report was checked and approved by governing bodies that Alexander claimed, it should not have so many errors and mistakes. Obviously, this poor quality report was prepared without proper review and definitely not according to the industry standard. They think that they could get away with it since the report has number of pages. The customers may not look at the report carefully. Proven Pest Control is not an honest and genuine company.

Awful. Lies and didn’t do what I paid for – I paid for a full spray of my carpet. They only did the edges. When the bugs came back the receptionist told my rental agent I was the one that only asked them to do the edges! reflect the truth nor what they told me. They told my agent they only saw bugs under one table leg - total lies! They did a crap job and tried to work their way out of it. DO NOT USE THEM!

No impressed – They treated my mother in laws place 3 months ago and it still has cockroaches running around. Not a very good service. The guy put chemicals all around the house and still couldn't get rid of them. I wouldn't waste my money on this company.

Excellent – I was SO RELIEVED by the excellent inspection provided by Chris from Proven Pest Control (friendly, thorough, and helpful). No bed bugs. effective plan that was also safe for my pup. He has top-notch technology -- little snake cameras that can look into every nook and cranny and even between the walls, and then he shows you what's going on. He sealed up every hole that one of those critters could possibly get through. I can't say I shopped around on price, but I think their prices were more than reasonable. The work is guaranteed for I think 30 days. And Anthony is incredibly professional and couldn't be nicer.

determined that we had a rat (horrifying!!), and thoroughly examined our house to determine entry and exit points. He even built a custom seal to ensure that no more rats could get inside. Chris was very patient in answering our questions (including during followup calls), and his courteous and professional demeanor was very calming during this stressful situation. His strategically placed trap caught the rat, and Anthony even came back to take the trap away. We are so grateful that he solved our problem, and because he sealed the entry points, we have peace of mind. If you have a rodent problem, I can't recommend this company enough. Great company – Proven Pest Control came out today to look at my house. He showed up right at 9am sharp (not a minute late), and was very professional and pleasant. Right when he walked in the house, he put on shoe covers (I didn't even have to ask, but would've since I have two small children). He was thorough, knowledgeable, and just a really nice guy. pests were removed – I moved into a new flat and there were cockroaches everywhere. I called this company and they sent someone straight out. Now all the pests are gone! It was great and quick service.

read and went ahead to use them but learned a big lesson. The spray for the cockroaches did not work and when I called for the second respray oh my the man came to my house and was extremely rude. He accused me of wiping the medicine so it didn’t work and threatened that if we called him again he would make us pay. You see they tell you, if the medicine doesn’t work you can spray as many times because the warranty is for 6months. The minute you give them your money then it’s game over for you. I paid $240 and up to now the cockroaches are still running around.
