cleaned on the engineered flooring. That advice was not followed. While there was no damage to the floors, the actual rug “cleaning” consisted of about five minutes of vacuuming per rug, which he then considered complete.
The couch was another major disappointment. Jeff stated that the marks were “stains,” which they were not. The clean was extremely quick and superficial. I later re-cleaned the couch myself using a basic Kmart cleaner, and the amount of dirt that came out was significant — enough to fill a vase — which clearly shows the job was not done properly - see attached picture for the dirt.
I want to acknowledge that the office team were professional and polite. However, the technician’s workmanship and the claims about his years of experience are highly questionable based on the outcome of this service.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this service based on my experience
Great result; excellent service – Excellent result. Mark was courteous, helpful and very efficient. I am delighted wih the result of my carpet clean.
One Star is Too Much – Possibly the absolute worst service I’ve ever experienced. Incompetent, extremely rude and unprofessional. In fact 1 star is too much. Shop around but don’t use this company.

Ripping off the elderlyh – Years ago we used this company, and it took them 90 mins to steam clean, dry and deodorise. So,my parents thought to try them again. Big mistake. He had done nothing but put water into the carpet and ran off. When I complained and sent them photos, they said "the carpet is worn", when there is no evidence of that. It must be their standard brush off line. Anyway, my elderly parents have122 dollars less in their pocket, and the carpet is as dirty as before. Oh, and we had to switch on fan heaters in every room to get it to dry for hours after. Completely different company. You can see the carpet stains and the wet stains in the pics. BEWARE.

They used to be good; now they just rip off pensioners and no doubt others – We used this company back in 2016, and the man came and cleaned and properly dried and even added a scent before leaving after 90 minutes. mins! Then he dashed off without even leaving a receipt, (my parents paid in cash) unlike the person back in 2016. When I came by I saw the carpets were just as bad, if not worse than before. Every stain was still there, but now we had puddles of water everywhere. This man did not clean, nor did he dry, just put in water, there was no evidence any detergent was used. He told my parents it'd take a few hours to dry, the next day parts of the carpet were still wet. Even though we put heaters on in the room.
I rang to complain and emailed them photos. They called my elderly father up, and said the carpet was threadbare (not evident in any pics as the pattern is still very visible), and that a man would have to come around and take a look at the carpet, instead of just refunding the $122 they charged to wet out carpet. Obviously this was done to make the process as difficult as possible, and so my 90 year old father, fed up, said "just forget it". Absolutely shocking - always check the most recent reviews before calling anyone.
Insufficient clean and poor customer service – Arrived late and then the clean was poorly done with sections missed (it was a steam clean and large areas of the carpet were dry). The cleaner’s manner was uncommunicative (on his phone much if the time ) and aggressive when we declined the extra services offered. (we have used the service before and this never happened). Rang many times to complain (including during the clean) and each time was told the complaints manager was not in. When I finally got hold of her she said she would call back (and my calls had not been documented). Still waiting many days later…. Will not be using this service again.
Lots of dirt on my carpet after an industrial clean – I booked to clean carpets in 3 bedrooms and a lounge room. The cleaner said I shouldn't do an ordinary steam clean because I won't notice any difference, and I need to do an Industrial clean, which cost about 3 times more than originally quoted for a steam clean. I vacuumed the carpets the following morning and got heaps of dust and particles that looked like they came from his equipment. I took a photo of the big pile of dust and particles collected from one of the rooms, and I collected a similar amount from all the other rooms. I sent my complaint along with the photo to the office for something to be done. First I was told to email someone that had just gone on holidays for 3 weeks. After going backwards and forwards, including with the Company Owner, the office told me they spoke to the Owner, and there was nothing they could do because I could've taken the photo of the dust and particles from another house???? The photos I took were at 5am the following morning after the job, and I certainly would not be taking photos of dust and sending it to them from somewhere else. I find it improbable that anyone would be taking photos of dust from someone else's house at that time of the morning. Not only the technician didn't do their job properly, the Company didn't even bother to send someone out to fix the job. These people claim on their website that they are "totally committed to customer satisfaction". This is incorrect because they did absolutely nothing to fix my problem.
Appalling carpet clean job – I was quoted $128 to clean 5 bedrooms. When the fellow arrived, he convinced me to pay $200 for special stain remover that would lift all the stains off the carpet. cleaning ( which seems contrary to standard advice). The entire 5 bedrooms took him 35 minutes to clean including a pre vacuum. Needless to say, I could not notice any discernible improvement. The stains still remained and he then told me he couldnt improve the foot traffic areas. What a load of rubbish. The manager has stated that they are only prepared to come back to re do a few patches in 1 or 2 rooms. There is no point to this. Now I have done my research and had a recommendation for an excellent steam cleaner, who does charge more, but he says it will take 2 hours ( as opposed to 35 minutes). Money worth spending. Wish I had read the ( mostly negative) reviews before I chose Pure Dry. Have never ever had such a poor carpet clean before. I dont know how they remain in business.
Unprofessional and misleading – Agreed on one price when the subby arrived he asked for more money because its dirty no kidding if it was clean we will not called you. Very unprofessional stay away from this mob

Wish I'd read the reviews first – My quote was $125 for 4 rooms and stairs dry cleaned. What I got was 3 rooms and stairs very wet cleaning. care was obvious and the job seemed rather rushed.. He did not pre-vacuum the carpet or move any furniture as promised. The technician was quite aggressive and didn't listen to me. I was seduced by an ad in my letterbox. I will go back to my old company next time.

Total rip off – I had Pure Dry home services clean my carpets. When i went to inspect the carpet it didn't look any different to pre cleaning. When I rand the company they obviously didn't care as they had my money. I would never employ this company to do anything again and have alerted my friends and family to steer clear of Pure Dry services. Don't use them total rip off and waste of money.

approximately 11.00 a.m. He began the job and to my horror, spent not even 10 minutes cleaning three of my bedrooms. I could not believe what I was seeing. It was quite obvious that he simply ran the cleaner in one line between the beds and the walls/furniture, leaving it sobbing wet. When I advised him of my dissatisfaction, he told me that my carpets were very worn and that was the best he could do. I compared his cleaning to previous cleaners to which he replied he would also do a dry clean for no charge, which I must add, made no difference other than collecting some of the water. He went on to clean the master bedroom and lounge area. The lounge area looked okay as it has no traffic and is an unused room. My master bedroom was just another mess which now has a water mark where the supposedly cleaning ended, which I will add is in the doorway to the walk in robe...Looks just great !!! Couldn't be bothered anymore and had certainly learned my lesson to never, ever use cheap carpet cleaners. When I questioned the free pre-vaccuming, free stain removal, free mould treatment and free deodorising, I was told that it all got done with the machine at one time. Find that hard to believe !!! Also...will move basic furniture....didn't even move a cane chair in the bedroom or the coffee table from the lounge room, simply didn't go anywhere near them (and it shows). Total time to clean four bedrooms and one loungeroom....Not even 45 minutes...and that was a steam clean AND a dry clean !!! Don't blame me for comparing, but previous cleaners have always spent at least 2 hours cleaning these same rooms. Will gladly pay the extra $50 to $100 to get the job done properly. Just to add fuel to the fire....Dry in 2 hours...my carpets were still wet in some areas the next morning !!! And...I also requested a follow up phone call with a very rude staff member, to discuss their booking procedure as I was not happy with the timing of my appointment, to which I am still waiting for a reply. They don't resect their customers – This company is totally unreliable. I was told to be at me empty rental by 8am so the job could be done. At 8:20, I rang the the cleaner to find out why he wasn't here, I was told the job was going to be done by someone else. They didn't even bother to let me know they weren't coming and expected me to hang around til 12:30. They Jane no resect for their customers

Good if you want your carpets dirtied – They "cleaned" 4 bedrooms and a lounge in under thirty minutes and left the carpets dirtier then when they started and soaking wet. They worst carpet cleaners ever, I rand the company and they are very sorry and do I want them to come back..No I don't ever. Customers beware! – The company has a maximum room size of 12sqm which is not diclosed on the quote. I went to view the terms and conditions on the Pure Dry Home Services website and could only find mention of the room size by hovering over the cancellation button which also quickly adds that there is a $35 cancellation fee if under 24hours notice is given.… Read more
Unfortunately we were unaware of the substantial cost difference between the quote and actual price until the cleaning consultant arrived and confirmed that most of the rooms in the house were classed as 2 rooms. By this time, you have a choice of paying a cancellation fee of $35, only getting half a house cleaned or paying a third more than quoted! The cleaner did a good job of the rooms actually cleaned and called 30 minutes before to say he was arriving. Did not properly disclose the terms and conditions with the quote. Very misleading. Left rubbish bag on the drive way.

User beware! – Terrible workmanship.Terrible customer service. What was a lightly soiled carpet now has dirty streak marks through it. Don't bother calling the company to look at the mess they made let alone fix it, unless you want to pay another $75 call out fee just to walk through the door. I wish l'd checked them out before my elderly parents used them. Money Down The Drain!
Misleading prices – Brochure price stated 5 rooms steam cleaned for $123, we had 5 rooms and a hallway but were quoted and charged $400 which was paid under duress.
