absolute scam of a company. please stay away from them. We rented a car under through them and the car company didnt accept the rate we had paid to QEEQ so we ended up getting charged more. When we complained to QEEQ instead of helping and accepting their shortcomings they kept coming up with new false claims. Absolutely a scam, Show details
QEEQ are crooks. Our use of QEEQ to rent our car cost us an extra 500 Euro. QEEQ does not support their customers. We notified QEEQ of our late pick up time but they did not forward our email to the car supplier- Our car was given away within 2 hours of our arrival. A new car rental resulted in a 500 euro extra charge. This is unacceptable and… Read more
QEEQ was unwilling to fix their error. DO NOT USE this car rental service. Book directly with the car rental companies
My experience with QEEQ has been fraught with contradictory information, delays, and unacceptable demands, which have resulted in significant financial and personal inconvenience. This account outlines the timeline of events and specific issues encountered. When I booked my car rental through QEEQ, I received written confirmation via online chat,… Read more
emails, and official documentation. These communications unequivocally stated that the insurance excess associated with my booking was AUD 2,200. This information was the basis for my decision to secure the rental and purchase the accompanying insurance policy.
Shortly after the initial confirmation, QEEQ revised the stated insurance excess to as high as AUD 5,700. This drastic change was not only confusing but also constituted a clear breach of the original contract. The misleading nature of this revised figure led to significant uncertainty regarding my financial exposure in the event of damage. Given that I was relying on accurate information, this discrepancy represents misleading and deceptive conduct under Section 18 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
Throughout the entire process, communication with QEEQ was disorganized and inconsistent. I dealt with multiple representatives—including [Name Removed], [Name Removed], [Name Removed], [Name Removed], [Name Removed], [Name Removed], [Name Removed], and [Name Removed]—each offering conflicting solutions. At various points, I was told different things: some agents maintained that the insurance excess was AUD 2,200, while others introduced the notion of an excess up to AUD 5,700. These contradictions not only undermined my trust but also created a situation where I was forced to question the validity of all representations made by QEEQ.
One particularly egregious request was that I travel to a branch to add extra insurance. I was informed that I would have to drive over 65 km (approximately 1 hour and 6 minutes each way) to a designated branch. This would incur additional fuel costs and disrupt my vacation. Furthermore, I was told that I would need to pay upfront for this additional insurance and then later seek a refund—a process that would leave me financially vulnerable and potentially thousands of dollars out of pocket.
Despite my numerous emails and complaints dating back to March 7, it took an unreasonably long time for QEEQ to propose any resolution. Their final offer was a partial refund of approximately AUD 400 (originally suggested as AUD 375, later rounded up) along with a three‑month Diamond Membership trial.
Although I accepted this token offer out of reluctance, I was subsequently informed in writing that QEEQ would not honor the offer. This action further demonstrates a lack of integrity and a pattern of misrepresentation.
Even as I approach the end of my rental period QEEQ continues to shift responsibility. Their most recent communications indicate that any resolution or compensation is contingent upon additional documentation which they clearly already possess and further steps after the car is returned.
This ongoing uncertainty and the attempt to delay a final resolution are unacceptable, as they contradict the clear, binding representations made at the time of booking and offer of compensation which was clearly never intended to be a serious offer.
My experience with QEEQ has been extremely unsatisfactory, and I believe that strict regulatory oversight is necessary to prevent similar issues in the future.

Scammer! Avoid the Diamond Membership! – I am a Diamond Member with QEEQ for over two years. Regarding one of my recent booking, I thought I took the benifits of a Diamond Member Price. However, my partner checked the same date/time and same location of a car-rental booking (the same car type) and he got the much lower price than a diamond price without logging in. Then I talked with… Read more
their customer service to ask for a "Price Drop Protector" due to my higher price of the same car. They said "you are not a new Diamond Member, so you don't have any benifits from this", which was such a scammer! What's the point of paying for a Diamond Membership for one year? My booking price is even higher than a random customer! I have all the screenshot of our conversations with customer service staffs and I have made an offical complaint to NZ Customer Protection. Please avoid them! Don't join the Diamond Membership at all!
QEEQ.COM SCAM – Scammers.I made a reservation in Almaty Kazakhstan made online payment online and received email confirmation from qeeq. Reliable, competitive and supportive – I am Australian and have used QEEQ for many years for car bookings in Australia and overseas and they have been perfect. Very impressed with the prices and the customer service when needed. Never had an issue after 10+ bookings. Show details
WOULDN’T recommend at all!!! – WOULDN’T recommend at all! 1. I rented a car with “in terminal” description - had to wait 20min outside the airport for a pick up to bring me to actual place where I could get the car. On drop off similar issue. Huge waste of time and could risk someone losing a flight - Not the service I paid for.. 2. Was forced to pay car company an extra… Read more
180€ as under “normal” booking they would take 3000€ deposit which being honest would be ok with me BUT they woudln’t release it after 30 days once car is bought back!!!! I would be short 3000€ for 30day+ after and would literally have to pay credit card INTEREST!! 3. Paid for extra insurance, which is outsourced to a 3rd party - they had 0 connection with car company so if something happened I would get no immediate help at all. Not even road side assistance in a country I don’t speak the language. 3. As they don’t look into companies they work with even after paying extra insurance through them I was forced to pay for the extra insurance car company would provide as under normal service booked as besides the credit card issue there was also much more non-sense attached to contract such as “25€ cleaning fee”, “45€ administrative fee”.
After all this, I communicated everything with them and the best they could do was say sorry… 0 help or proper accountability - Blamed everything on car company. They want to provide a service like Airbnb or Uber outsourcing the service but if the service is crap they actually don’t help like a proper company would. Obviously they don’t bother to check what kind of service the companies they work with provide either as a consequence, just 0 care given.

Qeek works great for us :-) – Not quite sure how so many people have had bad experiences with Qeek as my wife and I have used them numerous times in various countries and have always found them to be very good. They even refunded us once when the car hire had reduced in cost from time of booking and pickup ! Show details
Easy, Honest and Economic – I hired a small, clean car to use in New Zealand. I was picked up with a shuttle a few minutes after arriving, and was given an excellent little vehicle. I dropped it back and my bond was returned immediately, and then got a shuttle to the airport. I will be using MODE cars again. But I will also be using MODE's own insurance which does not require a large bond, unlike when getting insurance through a 3rd party. Show details
Rented 6 times and all problem free – No idea what the issues are that others report, but all worked superb for my rentals. In Cairns they contacted me to advise rates had dropped and they were giving me a $40 refund! Two times I have cancelled bookings ahead of pickup date and refund was instant to my credit card. Signed up for their Diamond Club deal and got cheaper rate and free insurance too. Worth looking at if you rent a few times a year as we do. . Show details

Avoid at all cost – Do not use. Worst customer service ever. You can’t change bookings you have to cancel and rebook. Price difference was $1600. Absolute joke
Cancelled my trip – Cancelled my rental a week prior because the branch was apparently closed on the day of pickup. Very unhelpful in finding a solution to their mistake
Not recommended, put us in helpless situation – Very very bad experience with qeeq as they left us with no help. We booked car from Avalon airport, unfortunately because Jetstar/quanta’s flight mismanagement, we landed at Melbourne airport, we requested to pickup the car from there or cancel/ refund, there was no help at all, we had to go to Avalon airport 80 km away by cab to pick up the car… Read more

Refused to refund when booking was not provided – They refused to refund a prepayment when the rental car provider could not accept credit card via Iphone. Don't Let Them Trick You – QEEQ unlawfully subscribed me to insurance that I didn't want and indicated that it would cost an extra $62.00! Should have read the reviews first! – DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!! They cancelled our booking with the car rental company 24 hours before we were meant to arrive and after over $2500AUD had come out of our account. Paid for premium brand, received a budget brand - Misrepresented vehicle online – QEEQ is a broker; they outsource the rental and take a middleman fee. The online advert listed 'Audi or similar vehicle.' It was a premium price, so I was expecting an Audi or another German premium brand. Upon arrival at the rental firm, the manager, who had been there for over 10 years, told me they have "never had any Audis in the fleet." The… Read more
online listing is outright misrepresentation and illegal. I received a Peugeot, a budget brand, which I could have hired for a fraction of the price I paid. QEEQ's customer service is also terrible, with Chinese representatives. Their emails are illegible and hard to understand. I secured a 100% refund via credit card insurance. Avoid!
Very poor service – Booked a car months before travelling with all flight times ect. A few day before we fly firstly direct mail stating they Do Not have a accessable shuttle and to get a taxi. Then a mail to state there service desk closes at 4.30. As our flight was to arrive at 3.30, have to clear plane, get though customs ect. As we were outside of 48hr cancel time. We were still billed for the $100. Rest of payment returned. So be aware of small print. Show details

QEEQ is a scam – I've never written a bad review in my life until now with my experience with QEEQ. on site to register - just a TV screen with employees who appeared to be in another country. The guy picking up in front of me went in the booth who and proceeded to become irrate with the person on the TV. He came out saying this is a shady operation and he will not be picking up his car. I then went in myself for the exact same experience. After taking photos of my credit card and driver's license with a little camera (which felt like I was being scammed) they wanted $500+ on top of what I already paid QEEQ. I refused the fee as I already paid and walked out. The whole bus of people I arrived with left back to the airport to find another car. I booked with Dollar. Since the incident I've been back an be forth with QEEQ respectfully explaining the situation and advising the should not be partners with Right Cars. I'm extremely concerned with who now has pictures of my ID and credit card. I stopped using the credit card and now will cancel. QEEQ is refusing to refund my payment, spouting some [Content Removed] about my personal insurance being refused which makes zero sense. I PREBOUGHT INSURANCE THROUGH QEEQ. My personal insurance is not even related to the booking! I could have picked up the car if I was willing to pay 3x the original cost. This is NOT the service I purchased and will be putting a charge back through MasterCard. DO NOT BOOK QEEQ!!!!!
QEEQ.com is an absolute scam – QEEQ.com is an absolute scam. I arrived at the Noleggiare office an hour before the contract time. I contacted Qeeq.com support and they refused to give me a refund because... The time for refusal without penalty has passed. At the same time, my driver's license turned out to be enough.
Deceitful Behaviour – I can concur with everyone who have been ripped off by QEEQ. When we booked through QEEQ, we were asked to pay for insurance, which we did. we haven't paid for the insurance. When we mentioned that we did, the rental car consultant said that she doesn't have any visibility of any such payment because QEEQ didn't forward that information. Furthermore, we never received any invoices for our payments from QEEQ except for n email confirmation. When I sent my complaint to QEEQ, I was sent a whatssapp message in broken English, advising me that it's my fault for paying for insurance when asked by the rental company. If anyone can point me in the right direction to the relevant authorities who handle complaints of deceitful sites like QEEQ and get my money back, it would be most appreciated. I don't want anyone to go through the same experience as I encountered dealing with QEEQ. Please don't ever book for car rentals through a deceitful third-party site like QEEQ. You will never get your money back like what happened to me. QEEQ is a company based in Hong Kong. You will not get far with your complaint. Please spread this message to everyone so that people are aware of such websites.

Avoid at All Cost or Prepare to Be Ripped Off – I don't know where these positive reviews come from but beware especially if renting in the USA. They do not accept non USA drivers insurance and you will be charged $25/day for liability and $10/day CDW even if you have proof that your… Read more
carrier or credit card provides coverage. Also beware they charge $9.99/day for toll road coverage and unlike other rental companies you cannot use your own Sun pass. If you don't buy their coverage and you go through a toll you will be charged $25/toll. This is all written in QEEQs fine print. What seemed like an inexpensive 25 day rental of $525 Canadian dollars turned into an extra $800 USD for insurance and surcharges. Oh yes $120 facility fee and $48 service charge were added. Even though we religiously avoided toll roads we received a bill 2 weeks after we returned for 3 tolls that we never used and they would not send documentation of the charges. If you want to get ripped off then be my guest but don't believe the positive reviews.
DO NOT USE – Our encounter with QEEQ has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I strongly suspect they are operating as a scam. pickup, QEEQ has failed to provide any meaningful resolution. Their email responses are not only incomprehensible but also devoid of any semblance of understanding or concern for our situation.
To add insult to injury, when we finally arrived to pick up our rental car after a flight delay of two days, we were shocked to find out that our car wasn't even available. It's worth noting that even if our flight hadn't been delayed, the car still wouldn't have been there as promised.
It is evident that QEEQ lacks internal communication and basic customer service skills. Furthermore, their failure to honor their own confirmation regarding our entitlement to a refund only solidifies our belief that they are running a scam operation.
I implore anyone considering renting from QEEQ to steer clear and find a reputable company instead. Our experience serves as a cautionary tale, and I cannot stress enough the importance of avoiding QEEQ at all costs.
Save yourself the frustration, disappointment, and potential financial loss by renting from a trustworthy company that prioritizes customer satisfaction over deceitful practices.
Don't trust QEEQ - fast to book but no care or help when they makes mistakes – Do not go near QEEQ, Hopeless administration, aggressive communications and no care to make things right. away. Due to the issue with QeeQ and Sixt, which was reported to them on the day and they failed to resolve I was stuck at an airport outside the terminal (I had my pet with me) in -5c and snow for over three hours. Europcar is an unreliable supplier. QEEQ is to blame as well – I recently made a reservation with Europcar through the third-party service QEEQ (QEEQ reservation 18245366, Europcar reservation 1168934931, customer support case 18389237). Permit (IDP). However, upon arrival at the airport, Europcar insisted on an IDP for my Dutch licence, which I did not have.
Europcar said clearly that this would not be an issue, as they would cancel the booking and issue a full refund. They did cancel and provided the cancellation number to QEEQ. This decision seemed in line with their Terms and Conditions, specifically section 2.5 E, which states that a full refund is due if Europcar initiates the cancellation.
Despite this, I have encountered immense difficulties in obtaining the refund. QEEQ has been trying to contact them and do everything possible, but Europcar has dodging responsibilities, lying, wasting time on purpose and has been directing responsibility to QEEQ, even though the payment was made to Europcar. After 2 months of back and forth it is clear that Europcar was just intending to scam me out of my money. This experience has led me to perceive Europcar as unreliable and untrustworthy, as they have not only misrepresented their policy but also failed to adhere to their own terms and conditions. I appreciate the effort QEEQ put in trying to refund me, but the end result is that I booked through them and I didn’t get refunded. The choice in suppliers matters which is why QEEQ is to blame as well.

Another message received from the Qeeq office: "We tried to call the Enterprise car rental company many times but the calls could not get through."
They suggested we try calling the local office but we were in transit and had no way of calling at the airport. When we finally arrived at the Alamo rental desk the agent said Qeeq has to just update the time by an hour. They refused to update, saying again and again that their hands are tied due to company policy. The Qeeq agent said that we should communicate with their Complaints Department. In the meantime we were considered a No Show even though we were very much there! They showed zero understanding of our situation!
