Queensland Family Pools and Spas (QFPS), we had numerous different pool companies come through and talk to us about what we wanted and what they could provide, but none of them really took the time to explain exactly how we would go from beginning to end of our dream pool design. It's one thing to have a quote with numbers on it, it's another thing to really understand what those numbers mean, and what the build, service and final quality of the Pool/Spa and equipment delivered will be. The expertise and knowledge shared from the initial contact and discussions with Miche and Terry, to the Pool/Spa build and commissioning, and follow up post pool completion, we strongly recommend you make Queensland Family Pools & Spas your first step to a great new pool or spa experience. The whole team at QFPS showed us true professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to our project, almost like they were part of our family. Although I read many negative comments about companies using contractors, I clearly understood that QFPS only use long term contractors, who they have fully vetted to ensure that the workmanship and quality is up to the same standards as those people they employee in their business. Ritchie, Darren and Duncan and the INSRG team, all upheld the same high standards and work ethics that we encountered with the rest of the QFPS team. With regards to the actual onsite construction and management of our pool project, both the onsite managers, Guy and Brandon, were there all the way. The continual communication and oversight, and sleeves up in the dirt attitude, made sure that the little one percenters that take a pool/spa to the next level, were integrated and explained fully. It was quite surreal for us both to see Guy working in our Spa on the last days before completion, sorting out a minor issue and applying some finishing touches. It felt more like a family member in our pool/spa, rather than someone working for a living. Again, these are further examples of the level of service, experience and expertise at QFPS, that we felt would have been missing from some of the discussions we had with the early contenders for our pool build. In conclusion we both understood that the pool/spa construction process would always have it's challenges, however the whole QFPS team met each one without any fuss or bother, with the end result far beyond our expectations. The QFPS team completed our project on schedule, on budget, and with an outstanding level of excellence. We believe they deserve the awards and accolades bestowed upon both the Business, and the individuals working within the business, as they truly reflect the service you can expect from QFPS for your Pool or SPA build.

Everything has been finished to a high standard. Robbins Home Improvements built a beautiful deck and screen to complement the sparkling pool. Fantastic equipment that you can use from your phone and keep an eye on your chemical balance. Would highly recommend QLD Family Pools and Spas - our family life has been improved 100%. Amazing Pool! – As first time Pool builders, we were a little nervous building but QFP made the process easy. From the initial consultation to hand over, the team were amazing with their communication. We have two young boys who have been swimming everyday since handover. Summers won't be the same again. a quote. He spent time understanding the job, providing ideas but never tried to over complicate or up sell. The quote was provided very quickly, and even after we requested numerous revisions or changes to our concept Terry and the team were very responsive and easy to deal with. Once we decided to proceed everyone was great to deal, highly communicative and very helpful: the excavation team, Mick, Justin (our Job manager) and the Miche in the office. There was never any up selling, in fact quite the opposite at times when the team suggested we didn't need to do things that would add cost but from their experience were not essential to deliver a great looking outcome. I think the key reason for the high quality service is that the team remains highly consistent at QFP. Terry, Mick, Miche and the majority of the dig crew worked on our pool 8 years earlier and Justin is a great addition since.

well as transparency put us at ease. And thank goodness we did go with QFPS... the whole process was seamless. We had to replace a very old but very large pool and spa so when you drop that amount of money you expect great communication, an excellent team across all departments, and top-notch work. QFPS delivered on all this through a really tough period of bad weather and covid restrictions. I wish all trades were as professional as QFPS. Can't recommend them enough. Really great work and good people. We now use our pool and spa every day and even nights! The app makes it so easy to use and take care of - we can even turn the heater and/or spa on even if we're not at home. The little ones absolutely love it and so do all our friends and family who seem to come around a lot more these days! Plus being able to look out to this resort-like pool makes my day... every single day!

Brandon was great to deal with throughout the process and always kept us informed of when contractors would be on site to complete work. Their contractors were professional, efficient, and attended on days they were scheduled to. The mess left by the concreters was the only complaint I have but Qld Family pools worked with us on that, organised an additional skip bin and cleaned up around the pool, the house and windows.
The whole process was very smooth, and we have our pool in time for summer. Everyone at Qld Family Pools were always contactable when we needed them.
Looking forward to replacing our side fence with colour bond over Christmas to complete the pool area.

Good, cheap but slow – we used qfp to build a pool - which mostly was fine but post build their service post build is not really that great. Appointments scheduled with short/no notice and we're still chasing them to fix the pump system which wasnt level. This has been ongoing for months on end where we've been chasing them to fix something that wasnt done right to begin with and they pretty much stopped replying to emails. Show details

acknowledge major faults and poor quality workmanship. Hard to fight when the director is on the board of SPASA. I am currently in the process of removing the pool as it is just not worth the money or the heart ache I’ve had to go through. Avoid!!! Avoid!!!! Avoid!!!!!

Our Construction Supervisor, Brandon, and Construction Manager, Mick, always made sure we knew what was happening which made the whole experience so easy for us. our own specific backyard. All questions were clearly answered and appropriate guidance provided. This was critical for us as it was our first time building a pool and we entered the process with very little background knowledge.
2) All QFP staff were fantastic to work with and the lines of communication were excellent across the board. This includes staff involved with quoting, technical / operational staff, administrative staff and ongoing maintenance staff. We were always provided with clear timelines / updates and, in the event of unexpected issues (e.g. heavy rains), they provided regular updates.
3) The total baseline cost was an exact reflection of the quotation. When additional costs were incurred (e.g. we requested the addition of a handrail) these were clearly and simply identified.
4) QFP technical / operational staff worked excellently with other organisations undertaking work throughout the same time period (e.g. we were having our backyard fully landscaped at the same time as the pool was being installed and they worked fantastically with the landscapers).
5) Where sub-contractors are required (e.g. electrical work), QFP are able to recommend and organise skilled staff who worked to the same high standards as QFP itself.
In summary, I would highly recommend QFP to anyone thinking of installing a swimming pool. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and we are delighted with the results. It is not an exaggeration to say that the arrival of the swimming pool and the associated landscaping has revolutionised how and where we spend our 'home-time'. QFP were recommended to us by friends and our experience, like theirs, has been first class. When we first considered installing a swimming pool it felt like an extremely daunting task. However, QFP ensured that it was an incredibly smooth, well-organised, perfectly managed process. We can't thank them enough - a great choice!!
