Great service - affordable price – The plumber was very friendly, took the time to explain the job (dripping taps), replaced one tap and serviced another. I would use Service Today for all future plumbing problems.
DISGUSTING SERVICE! – Took our money before service was complete. Never completed the full service so heating and cooling never worked properly. They never replied to phone or email messages for 12 months. Followed through to VCAT and they never showed up! They are fraudulent and don't deserve to be open!
Positive reviews
Great service – Quick, efficient and punctual, really happy with the service, staff were polite and helpful, technician friendly and quick. Happy with the results and would use this service again and recommend.
Quick response – Faced a problem with our aircon a few days before Xmas with the forecast of 40 degrees expected in two days. I was concerned that it would be difficult to get someone to look at it quickly at that time of the year but Quick Air Melbourne were able to respond within one day. Technician arrived within the time scheduled and resolved the problem.… Read more
Office and the technician were courteous and fully explained the problem and its solution. Cannot comment on cost.
Great Service – Great and friendly Service right from the initial phone call to the completion of the work The communication was excellent and the terms and conditions clearly explained Would use them again next time
Negative reviews
Quick to take your money. Poor or no-show service – Called to make an appointment and they are already asking for credit card payment upfront. Booked for next day call out by one of their technicians between 12noon and 3pm. Next day at 10:15am I get a call from the technician saying they are at the property... Except no one is there. Technician leaves without without doing anything but promises… Read more
to call next day at 8am to confirm a time. Following day came. No call came. I followed up with an SMS to the technician directly at 10am. He replied he totally forgot and was going to call me back after he finished another job. No confirmation when.
I call the company HQ and asked for another technician. They couldn't find one. I asked for a refund and they spent the next 10min trying to convince me to give them another chance. Oh, refund will come in 2 weeks time!
Quick to take your money. Crap to deliver anything! Unreliable and bad business practices. Stay away from these amateurs.
Quik to take your money! – New heating unit installed. Terrible! Didn't show up when they were supposed to. Communication was very poor. Unprofessional. (Didnt use drop sheets and I cleaned up) Rushed job. Sparky on time. Installer showed up 3hrs later! After install, another 1.5wks to get unit working. I thought I'd get better service spending over $5k. Don't recommend. Show details
Ongoing disappointment – Paid $339 for a technician to give a quote. SInce receiving this quote I have emailed 5 times, called multiple times to organise installation- no response. Waste of time and money.

Refunded call-out fee – Previous review I sent saying fraudulent company well I rang quick air to ask about a refund spoke to Receptionist Margaret who was really helpful went above and beyond her job to find out more was refunded my call-out fee Massive Thankyou to Receptionist Margaret credit to quick air company
Absolute rip off merchants – Charged over $500 to inspect 2 split systems and were onsite for half an hour! One system just needed re-gassing (which was a cheap fix from an honest and fair priced contractor) but Quick Air quoted over $2000 to replace it with a unit that retails for $600. Bear in mind that this was a replacement, not a new install, so all the piping and wiring… Read more
was already there.
Obviously I did not accept their rip off quote but now, months later, they are still spamming me with the quote despite "unsubscribing" twice!
This company has no regard for customers and try to charge like wounded bulls. DO NOT use.
Complete Ripoff – Their actual prices are significantly higher than those they initially quote you over the phone. They make sure you have pre-paid their $99 callout fee before you get a chance to find out. Frank Kerr in Melbourne admitted that larger companies have better rates after I complained but refused to accept accountability for quoting me a misleadingly lower price in order to charge me a callout fee. It's a complete scam, take your money elsewhere.
If you live in ballarat do not use Quickair – Made a booking with Quickair to service and repair a gas log fire. the plumber came late. He removed the front cover of the heater and told me it needed a part and for me to ring him in a week or so. I rang back after 8 working days only to find out he had done nothing. I then rang QUICKAIR and was told they would get back to me when they had… Read more
spoken to the plumber. I never got a returned call. I am left with a dismantled heater and minus $239.00. Please avoid this company at all cost. I believe all the bad reviews are true.
Total rip off.Don’t use,get more quotes – Called them out and was here for 45 mins to be told I needed a part that cost $48 and didn’t have one with him so he left without putting all screws back in cost $239.00, next day I was sent another quote for $352.44 - $99 discount for them to come and fit part, which I purchased myself for $19 and took me 10 mins to fit!! If this isn’t a rip off I… Read more

Dont be ripped off by Quick Air Solutions – Ducted Heating failed in July 2019, it was freezing. researched all the places around my area and found that Quick Air seemed the best at the time. WRONG. quoted us over $1K to repair the circuit board (unit was only purchased in 2016) and said "we have one with us". couldnt afford $1K at the time, went thru winter freezing. 3 days ago, we were… Read more
just about to ring them to repair, hubby looked at the wired in temp gauge (which can be taken off) and a battery fell out. You would think that they would check this first. Anyway, in short, we just spent around 20cents on a new battery and we are warm as toast. So Stick your $229 up your arse Quick Air, or retrain your staff.
Total rip off – My Brivis ducted heater stopped working so I contacted Quick Air, big mistake! Quick Air will take your credit card details and charge you $229 “call out fee” the only thing you will get for that $229 is a visit from an unprofessional looking guy who will tell you it needs a new thermocouple but he doesn’t have one with him (this is the most… Read more
common part to fail) this is part of the scam. Quick Air will then email you a quote for, supply thermocouple $273, labour charge $128 on top of the $229 you’ve already paid. The thermocouple costs $30 (I got the part number from the packet he left behind) the heater unit worked while he was here but failed to come on after it had cooled down, so I called him and he came back the next day, he checked the unit which had a red flashing light which was there when he came the first time. He didn’t know what was wrong with it, I suggested it could be the control box (quoted$600) you can buy one retail for $200, or I need a new unit ($3000) unit still not working! I don’t know how this company is allowed to trade, they are scammers of the highest order. Beware!!
Steer Clear - Rip Off Merchants – We called QUICKAIR to provide a quote to repair a 3 year old Kelvinator window aircon. They informed us it would cost $230 for call-out, diagnosis and repair with any parts additional. The technician arrived, stayed a short time and informed us it was the control board. After pushing for a quote to repair, they informed us it was an additional… Read more
$729 on top of the $230 to repair a $600 air con. The part they quoted was $429 for the same per which Electrolux (supplier of Kelvinator parts) quoted me $189.
Stay away they are unconscionable and unscrupulous
Take your money and provide nothing – We had an issue with our air con. They came to review and told us the part is too expensive to get in and we need a new unit. Gave us a quote of early $4k for the unit! No information on the brand of unit, what it is compared to other brands and when I asked for more info, they said they can help but have heard nothing for two months!! I asked for… Read more
a quote for the piece and they said they cant. I got the piece online for $200 from the manufacturer and got it installed. Literally paid $250 for Nothing - do not use!
Total Rip Off – Seems to be a trend with these cowboys. Take your money turn up late do zero work and tell you under their terms and conditions you have forfeited your money. $239 for absolutely nothing. I wish I had read these reviews first. How the crap do these people get away with this, and of course they are terribly sorry over the phone. Please please take my advice and stay well clear.
Scam stay clear of this company – This is a highly fraudulent company ! The trick is to take your money up front and then basically call in give it a cursory look and tell you the unit is old and needs replacing. Not sure if they even bother to send anyone qualified they certainly do no diagnostics or servicing. Basically they charge you $239 for nothing and try and sell you a new one to see if you’re stupid enough to fall for the scam twice. This company needs to be shut down !!
Dishonest – Web page states the prices upfront for service and preventative maintenance. However, you actually have to pay the price just to book. If there are further repairs necessary, you have to pay for them as well. There is no option not to go ahead with the booking.
quick "to take your money and do nothing" air – how do you give zero stars? absolutely woeful service. the call centre/head office seems to be nice and friendly enough however, they use very inexperienced technicians to attend the jobs and there is absolutely not consistency between them. i only went with them initially as they had availability that week and we were desperate to get someone… Read more
out asap. i did found it odd that other a/c servicing companies were booked out for weeks/months.
told head office upfront of the samsung error code and they advised me that going through the warranty process will take a very long time. insisted on payment upfront of $239 to even secure a booking. Technician #1 comes out and says the unit is too small in capacity to cater for the size of the property (absolute rubbish). does nothing else. does not even clean the filter. keeps malfunctioning for the next week and i demand another technician come out to resolve the issue.
Technician #2 comes out and refutes Technician #1's assessment and says the capacity of the unit is fine to service the property. cleans the filter as it was absolutely filthy and says the unit needs to be re-gassed. as we are renting we could not make a decision on the spot to have the unit re-gassed, we had to get owner approval.
quote comes back for $520 (as they want to gouge me for yet another call-out fee). neither Technican #1 or #2 make reference to the samsung error code and neither advise me that i should call samsung direct as they wont be able to fix the issue.
finally, i get approval to re-gas the unit. have to pay $520 upfront. Technician #3 comes out and cannot even re-gas the unit and tells me to contact samsung direct to get the part replaced under warranty!!!!
now head office is holding me to ransom and after several emails is still refusing to refund me in full the $520 even though Technician #3 did absolutely nothing except open the unit and close it and tell me to contact samsung directly.
was so desperate at the time to get someone out to look at the unit, i didnt even check their reviews (which is something i always do!)
anyway, next step fair trading
The worst for the service ever – If I could give them no star I would. This is most horrible service you can get. They outsource the service to people who don't even know the job, they charge you a lot of money for nothing. I called them for a service and the guy just did nothing. They charge you upfront, do nothing, don't allow you to cancel the booking. The company is full of arrogant people who tries to sell bad service and push their inexperience on you.

Excellent Customer Service & Efficient, Thorough Maintenance – I called Quick Air for a general aircon maintenance and was booked in within a week. Great customer service experienced all round by the two Bendigo Technicians, and… Read more
call-taker Marcus. Highly recommend quick-air if you're looking for a reliable, well priced aircon maintenance!
Avoid at all costs – We paid for a service but when the tech came out he advised that our ducted system was very old, would be detrimental to asthma sufferers and should be replaced. That was fine however when we received the quote I queried why there wasn’t a discount applied for partial cost of the service as advertised on their website. I was told this had already… Read more
been applied which I found fishy as most companies are quick to show you when they are giving a discount. I requested they give a better breakdown of what the quote includes and after receiving that I booked it in. Problem 1: the same tech who quoted came out to do the install by himself. He had told us originally that the old unit would be removed but this didn’t happen. I complained to quickair who told me removal of the old unit is a complementary service but the tech couldn’t physically remove it (for a job like this I would have expected two guys onsite). I referred her to the itemised quote which had removal of the old unit at around $300. They still refused to remove the old unit and I had to argue for ages to get this part knocked off the bill. Problem 2: About a month later our unit stopped working as the return duct imploded cutting off the air. The original tech came out, said it was faulty ducting and replaced the section. This then happen again 6 weeks later. At my insistence a different tech came out, but again only replaced the section with a slightly shorter piece. The real cause of the fault was that the return grille in the house was much too small for the unit (identified by the company who did our split system) so I fitted a second grille myself as QuickAir refused to acknowledge an installation issue, and the improvement (amount of air movement) was immediate and very obvious. Problem 3: I had a 3m piece of ducting shredded by a possum. For the sake of my warranty I went to QuickAir to get someone to fix it. They wanted to charge me $185 to have someone look at it (not fix it) and issue a quote. I told them I didn’t want them to come out twice for 30 minutes work and sent photos so they could quote. I receive a quote for $700. The job ultimately cost about $60 and took under an hour. Stay away from this company.
Poor service.... actually no service after paying – Booked through company for a technician to repair heater on 6th June. Company charged $229 in advance which was deducted from my credit card. Booked for 8am repair. Technician did not show up nor did he call. When I called, technician said cannot get there until 10. assured he would be there. Again... no show. Called company. They said they can’t find him. Totally unprofessional. Asked for refund which took 5 days
Never go near this company EVER!! – Had air con not working. Faded gradually. Typical of unit losing gas. Asked for someone to come out. Tech. came, checked, said found small leak just outside unit at a soldered joint. Said could not fix then. Paid $229 just to have a look. Got quote next day. Said all coils had to be replaced. Not what tech told me. All up price $1000. Will be… Read more

Would Not Use Quick Air Again – Start with the good, Technician was great, worked carried out great, although a little pricey. If I cancel I loose $99, if they stuff up, they have your money and and you are forced then to wait further for a time suitable for the repair, no apologies. Do not recommend.
Never call Quick Air again – We called Quick Air and deposited $229 to fix the cooling unit 0n 17th January 2019. Technician came and spent less than 10 minutes (had a young kid, daughter? in car waiting) did not even look at the roof wire connection. working; that I will get a report and cost quote through email very soon from Quick Air. I did get email on that day with NO details of cost but a quote to follow. That was the last time I heard from Quick Air 24/01/2019 and today is 31/03/2019. Quick??? QuickAir is now on my DO NOT CALL list for any repair services.
Don't be lazy. Find a local plumber who actually cares – I booked and paid $229 in advance for someone to come and look at my intermittently faulting gas ducted heater. The plumber who came out was obviously irritated with me as the heater was working when he arrived (I had explained when booking that the problem was not constant) and he was not interested in the fault codes I'd recorded off the… Read more
control panel.
He looked at the heater for 5 minutes max then told me it would be too expensive to fix and its so old (10 years) that we really need to just buy a new system.
He said he'd call me that afternoon with a quote for a new unit. He never rang though and I never heard anything from your company.
We did not have the money to afford a new heater so tried to put up with the failing heater.
I eventually decided i was not happy with that service and needed to get a 2nd opinion.
This other company was able to fix the heater completely. All up our invoice with this other company was $280.
Customer service from this company and its plumbers leaves a lot to be desired. DO NOT USE THEM.
What a rip-off! – I was charged $629 for a total attendance of 55 minutes at our home. This included $229, in advance, to tell me (in 4 minutes) the pump in our Brivis evaporative air conditioner needed replacing and "a reduced price" of $400, paid in advance, with no invoice, to replace the pump that they charged $215 for and which can be bought anywhere for $65.… Read more
The Department for Consumer Affairs got nowhere with my complaint as the company "had not done anything actually illegal". I would not recommend Quick Air to anyone if you want fair and reasonable service.
Never use QuickAir – Never use QuickAir This is the worst company I have ever dealt with they rip you off . stay away from them!!! So finally three days after when the appointment was booked we waited till after 12 nobody had turned up, so I call them ,then I was told he was running late but would be there in 20 minutes and was on he’s way and would not be long ! another hour and a half past still no one turned up ,even so I was told he was on his way so I phoned once more, I told the lady that I talk to , why did your technician not call me in the first place to let me know that he was gonna be late, I got told the last job took longer but he would come now in a nother hour ,I told the lady I was not impressed not very happy. Then finally I got a call from the technician he talks to my Husband telling him he was on his way. A minute later ,I get a call from the lady I talked to before, from the company she told me The technician told her that he had to fix the air conditioning and that my husband did not understand that maybe he couldn’t fixe it ,or may need parts ,I told the lady I was right next to my husband when he was talking to the technician and he did not say that he had to fix it or else, The lady told me that she didn’t think we understand that it might not be able to get fixed ,I told her they haven’t even looked at it ,so how would they know already that they may not be able to fix it ,and I told her of course we understand it’s only logic , if it cannot be fixed or needs more parts, I felt like she thought we were not intelligent enough to understand , so I told her of course we understand he might not be you able to be fixe it but that we hoped he could. We were in business for 48 years and would have never treated
any of our customers in that way !
She told me if I wanted to cancel it would cost me $99 so if I still wanted to go ahead with the callout, by this time it was getting very very hot in my house so I agreed to go ahead because they already had $229 out of my account three days before, so finally the technician turns up after being three hours late ! he had a look at the air-conditioner
So he asked us what did not work on the air-conditioner we told him like we told them in the first place on the phone it does not cool and the fan was not working ,it took him 10 minutes to open the unit because he could not find the right tools to do so, he told use it could be the conductor ore
maybe the main board ore gas we could try a conductor to see if it works so he put a conductor in and it worked, he then called his company and told them something completely different that it might need gas as well and that my husband said he didn’t want that done.when the lady came to confirm she asked if we wanted to go a head to put the conductor in ,lt would cost a nother $ 216 dollars more I told her yes ok ,when I talked to the technician he told me it could work for an hour for three days or for three years he did not know how long that would work I can’t guarantee anything, but he only told use after he had replaced the part.
Half an hour after he left ,so cold fixing my air-conditioner the unit stopped working. We are pensioners so we haven’t got a lot of money and I feel we were just taken advantage of! They should not be allowed to contact any business in my opinion.
I would not give any stars to to this Company !
Rocky start but they cared enough to make it right – Our split system was not cooling properly in our rental property. As it was December during a heat wave every company we rang couldn’t come for weeks. However Quickair could. So we paid the upfront fee and booked them. First technician came and had a quick look and told us it was an inverter board and an easy fix. He was going to get the part… Read more
ordered and come back and install it. However that was the last we saw of him. Over the Xmas period I knew things would be difficult but when I still hadn’t heard from the company by the second week of January, I emailed them. No response. I rang the technician as he gave me a card. He said he didn’t know what had happened to the work order but he’d get the part ordered and come back the following week. He’d ring me later that day. No call after two days. I tried his mobile again but he didn’t answer anymore. Then I rang Quick air again. They made an appointment for the following week in the morning with that technician. We waited all morning then rang them when he hadn’t shown by lunch time. They couldn’t get hold of the technician either. It appears that this technician just went rogue.
Anyway after we complained and demanded a refund, which they were willing to give, we realised that we were back where we started if we didn’t give them a chance to make it right. So after talking with a lovely lady on the phone, [name removed], who was very apologetic and helpful, a new technician arrived who diagnosed a gas leak and fixed the problem in no time and really inexpensively we thought.
So although we had a terrible time with the company, I think the fault lay with that one technician. His name was Awry. The second technician was awesome and really wanted to make this right. I think his name was Birek.
So overall I think the company is good if you just keep on their back!
Stay away – This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Technicians with no idea. I foolishly prepaid $3500 to fix our AC in the heat wave before Xmas as we have a 4 month old baby. Then they stalked me a week saying the parts were out of stock. In the end I rang Fujitsu myselfcsnd it wasn’t out of stock, and my system was still under warranty. So they… Read more
fixed it for free. Also, it was a minor fix - the guy replaced one small pipe in an hr. These guys quoted me for 4 parts including a mother board. Total lies, or else they are completely incompetent and should have their license revoked. Still battling to get my money - have contacted the ACCC, ACurednt Affair and will keep going as far as I have to to get back my money. Stay away and spread the word
Never use QuickAir – Young Technician had no idea what he was doing. Left my unit in worse condition after making some changes to the settings. When I tried to speak to Technician he just hung up the phone. Still trying to get the set points back to normal with no joy from Quick Air. Do not recommend them and would never use them again.
Stay away!! – Pay $229 to get someone to look at your aircon for less than 5 mins and then get a ripoff quote after that. I can't believe this company is still operating!
