Disappointed with product and service – Had quick step classic oak natural vinyl planks installed throughout house some years ago. Started to notice pinking colour appearing randomly on planks throughout home. Contacted installer Flooring Xtra who sent information about problem to Quick Step who advised the pinking is a bacteria growing under planks and presents itself as a pink colour on surface of planks but is not covered under warranty. Flooring Xtra advised would replace problem planks but as yet after 9 months of correspondence have not managed to be able to make a booking with me to do so. Very disappointed with both product and after sales service.

Thank you for making contact. Extra retailer was at underwood but comments about not covered under warranty was by Premium floors at Acacia Ridge who claims to be the manufacturer, . No on site inspection has been done. no flooding to home inside or out.

Contempt for customers – I did half my house with pulse hybrid flooring, then went to order the flooring for the other half only to be told that (despite it showing as current product) it was a discontinued product. No comms from quickstep, no consideration for their customers, avoid this firm like the plague!!

Good evening Sam, As discussed via email. We can understand your disappointment at QS Pulse Hybrid Cotton Oak Warm Grey being discontinued in the Australian market, taking effect from 1-Aug-2024.
Pulse Hybrid is being replaced with a new hybrid range called Bloom Hybrid. Bloom has the same dimensions as Pulse Hybrid but comes with all new colours.
Ranges are discontinued when the decor colours are updated or the surface structure is improved, resulting in a new product being launched.

Are you able to advise which Flooring Xtra retailer it was? Did they conduct an on-site inspection? We would not pass comment unless we, Quick-Step Australia, ourselves have inspected.
