Ex collections officer dubbo, orana region, parkes, etc... The main reason radio rentals folded was the ONE female stores manager of most NSW stores. Multiple complaints regarding women not answering phones to service clients. She covered this up. She demanded the second last day I worked there, why didnt I force my way into a house and repo furniture. In a phone meeting between myself and thorn group Sydney, I was told I would be answering to this woman. I immediately quit and took the most excellent offer from the AFP to work in Canberra. If it wasn't for this female and her covering up for staff, letting ex goal partners into restricted areas, and demanding staff follow up and treat clients with respect, RR would be an excellent business to this day. AFP rocks

Radio Rentals Rip Off!!! – Been through radio rentals for years and I own nothing all there products have given out or blown up after the contract and they refuse to replace it or help with the issues since it is out of there hands also I paid well over the retail price for everything including a tv that should off cost only 3 thousand dollars and end up forking out 6 and half thousand dollars the customer service do not want to help and are frankly very rude

If your planning on going through radio rentals I suggest dont – If you think you getting a great deal think again what you could buy from your local shops will cost 4 times the price this group charges I got a TV washing Machine and fridge off them which should of cost around 4 to 5 grand instead it costing me 12 grand not worth any where near it tv not even a proper smart TV has no Bluetooth only has youtube and Netflix button

No issues renting from RR – I have been renting with RR for 10 years and have never had an issue......yes i pay more than the product sells for outright but i dont have the cash up front..if i was to get a personal loan, i would be paying back in interest, more than the goods are worth but with RR if anything goes wrong, they fix or replace it, the bank won't do that.... Show details

get a technician out and we are still waiting weeks for the parts. The washer is only a few years old. While waiting weeks with no washing machine, the contract expired. We get a end of term letter that says we must arrange to return the item or pay it out. But guess what, you cannot return it because there is no where to return it to. And they no longer collect appliances at the end of the term because they closed all of their warehouses. They have no backup for when things go wrong. You simply have to wait and keep paying for a product you get no benefit from. And then you have to deal with their arrogant and unhelpful customer service representative who's only concern is hiding behind the ever changing terms and conditions in the contract. We do not recommend this business.

customers or their references. Accounts were people on limited incomes are approved for products, they make payments for a few months so are then offered more. Accounts where the early termination, absconders fees and then arrears on top are so much more then the original products ever were. Accounts where they are classed as too hard to follow up so are just immediately passed on to our collections agency. It’s so difficult to work these accounts because I know myself if I owed thousands and thousands for a product that may know only be worth a fraction now why would I even pay it? Let alone try to get others to pay it..I don’t blame people for avoiding these debts! I look at these accounts were people have a couple hundred dollars worth of products and now owe $3/4/5/6,000 +. I know so many these people are very unlikely to pay these debts back but will be screwed either way.

As the title says..think long and hard about whether you really need to obtain things this way..just because you can get approved doesn’t mean you should just take it up. Read the T & C’s. RR is just trying to make money, they don’t care about their customers. You will end up owing so much and worse case you’ll end up with a default on your credit file after they rip you off in fees and charges, and will ruin any plans for obtaining credit in the future.

Lease period – I have just been told today I signed up a lease for a fridge and a lounge set for 60 months so 5 years and in total over $10,000! I am in shock as I clearly remember leasing them for 2 years. I don’t know what to do please advise. The lady on the phone referred me to the website to complete the customer enquiry form. Has this happened to anyone?

my honest review – after my 3 year contact with Radio Rentals for a s8+ phone ending on 8/6 what is 3 words I would use to best describe Radio rentals >>>Annoying Rude Expensive I would recommend you use another company I don't think I will ever use Radio Rentals again

Rent to buy is a joke – I purchased my desktop computer (making me the legal owner and it being private property)from radio rentals after end of lease.Many months went past without issue, until recently.My entire HDD went into a disk sanitation (without warning), deleting years of data and the locked screen pops up. The company has yet to fix the issue.Be warned about rent to buy, they still leave software in your device they can access remotely whenever they want.

Rip offf – They are the biggest rip offs been on a 5 year contract and payed nelly$ 30000 dollars for less then $10000 worth of items. and not to mention the make sure they don’t always take the money out on time or it will bounce for no reason and give you dishonour fee. Ps will keep charging you items when there finished and good luck getting your coin back.

No loyalty from Radio Ripoff!! – Have been a loyal customer of Radio Rentals for nearly 20yrs. In that time, I have never had an issue renting through them until now. Even though my income has increased, I could not be approved for a new phone, being told I don’t have the capacity to pay lol Went straight to another company (DIFRENT) and was approved within 24hrs, no questions asked…Steer clear of Radio Ripoff!!

Auto Debit Disaster – Have been with RR for a few years now, so far everything was going well no problems. Now our lease is due to finish all of a sudden our fortnightly auto payments aren’t being taken out on schedule and when the finally take it out they slap us with extra fees because of “late payment”. Huge scam – Unclear terms and conditions and incredibly high mark up. You will pay 4x the price on top of the mark up on the product. these things and don't have the financial education required to avoid such greasy tactics. Never use this company or anything that sings the same song. I've used them previously but they were incredibly unkind to my friend and I have seen similar things. when I was having hard times.

I had to chase up Hisense MYSELF....imagine if that was your fridge full of food just before xmas....RR dont care, thats why they closed their shops and bow they cant provide you with replacements because, well....THEY HAVE NONE! where from fridge, the fridge service people from Traralgon came to my home and said it’s the compressor in the fridge is hadert this is are new fridge from Radio Rentals. was not until I mentioned escalating the issue to the financial ombudsman, that she agreed to refund my money and stop my debits. Never ever again will I deal with this company, or any of the sort to be honest. Do not sign on with them - there are far better alternatives out there, such as Afterpay.

Less than zero stars – For two times I needed Radio Rentals assistance. They are all about money. They forget that there are human behind the number account. Even under health situation (cancer) and financially difficult (Lost job) they ignored and did not offer any relief when I ended my contract.
