⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Raid One Shot. The Greatest Bug Spray Ever Created. Ever. People just look at this can. Just look at it. Beautiful can. Powerful can. Does exactly what it says. And yet somehow, some people gave it one star. One star! Can you believe it? And I’ll tell you right now these are not serious people. These are not competent people. I’ve… Read more · 1
used a lot of bug sprays. Weak sprays. Sad sprays. Raid One Shot is different. One spray. ONE. And the bug? Gone. Instantly. Obliterated.
Now the one-star crowd, oh boy. You hear them whining: “It didn’t work.” “The bug flew away.” “I had to spray twice.”
Absolute amateurs. Low-IQ pest control energy. Very Sad.
Raid One Shot requires one thing: basic competence. Aim. Spray. Done.
This spray delivers overwhelming power, ruthless efficiency, and outrageous value for money. It doesn’t negotiate. It doesn’t warn. It ends bugs. Strongly. Quickly. Cleanly. Permanently.
Smart people buy this spray.
10/10. The bugs hate it. I love it. Would buy again.
Crappy fly spray – Raid usually works ok, bit this can is crap. To use, shake for 1 minute. Think about it. Most other fly sprays work with a 2 second shake. This can is the worst ever, & it hardly deters flies Never buying this crap again!!! Show details
To raid spray or not raid spray – The worst insect spray ever! Sprayed a small cockroach 8 sprays later and overnight under the can of raid it was still alive. Going back to mortine at least that does kill insects in one shot Show details

Useless – I have used the product repeatedly so there is now less than 1/4 of the can left. So I believe I gave this spray enough chances. I have tried it on mosquitos, flies and a couple of cockroaches. It didn’t faze any of them. I sprayed a few so much that the area had a wet spot and the bug just flew off with no issues. 15 minutes later I could still… Read more
hear the buzzing and see it fly around the room. The cheap home brand supermarket spray works better than this.
10 shots to a tiny moth. Still gets up and flies away. One shot Mortein, it dies – Actual test. I gave about 10 shots of the RAID one-shot odourless to a tiny moth. While it was flying and after it landed. It just gets up and flies away twice. So I go and get the Mortein Powerguard flying inspect killer. One shot and it dropped to the ground and dies. Not buying RAID anymore. Waste of money. Show details

Pathetic – Absolutely pathetic and useless. I spray flies over and over and they bathe in this stuff like perfume! You want everyone to pay top dollar them make your products effective! I will no longer be purchasing Show details
May as well ask them to go outside as use this – I think you'd have more luck asking them nicely to leave, this stuff is useless, what happened SC Johnson, did you have to make this enviro friendly, removing any products that may impact insects? it no longer functions, I hit three house flies and watched them while I had my coffee, they landed, cleaned themselves off and flew away to enjoy the rest of their day, pointless purchase. Show details
Does diddle squat.. very frustrating product – The only way this can will kill a fly is if you can manage to hit the fly with the can.. Using the spray does diddle squat, I think raid must have had something go terribly wrong with this one.. Time to go back to homebrand fly spray. Show details
Completely useless ripoff spray – Sprayed the same mosquito directly over and over and over again. It kept reappearing. Completely useless. I can’t believe that this product is still on the market after all these years. This is the worst product I’ve ever bought. I’m going to get a refund for this rubbish. Show details
USELESS is high praise – Never have I seen such an accurate collective opinion. This stuff must have been invented and marketed by annoying flying insects, if it was a joke at least you could have a laugh at it. But NO, it's uselessness is nowhere near funny. Even it were free you'd have to give it a zero rating. Show details
Expensive water in a can – I should’ve just thrown my $8 in coin at the flies and hope to make a direct hit. Would have been more effective. What a joke. Even drowning the things in spray does nothing. How is this on the market and why are consumers being ripped off?? Show details
Works if you can use it to drown the insect, otherwise cheaper to just use a water spray bottle – This product does not kill flying insects, even with a direct hit. I had an opportunity to kill multiple flies in the same vicinity, managed a very accurate spray, and they all flew away. Thinking the job I was done I left the vicinity only to return and find all target insects alive and flying. This has happened on multiple occasions. I shall… Read more
return the can to Bunnings using the above description as my reasoning. On a positive note, like water, there is no odour.

Doesn’t work, at all! – I recently contacted SC Johnson to inform them that this particular product doesn’t work. I wish I had read these reviews before I contacted them as that would have added weight to my claims that this product is essentially useless. Absolutely 100% ineffective on mosquitoes no matter how much you spray on them. A complete waste of money. I am… Read more
surprised they can get away with selling this. Looking to take this further as their response to my email was generic and pointless. This product would win a shonky award for sure.
absolutely useless – I haven’t kill one fly yet with Raid; you can spray half the can on a fly and all he/she does is fly away and come back with a few others. Waste of money this Raid, and the manufacturers should be ashamed of themselves to make such an inferior product. Show details
'ODOURLESS'.. BECAUSE IT'S NOTHING MORE THAN WATER, IN A BIG BLUE CAN!!! – The Flies continued to fly around in little circles above the coffee table, undisturbed, as I sprayed them 11 times. Yes, we counted. They flew to the laundry, only after I waved my tea towel around. They all stuck to the screen door, so I opened it and watched them fly away. All they did was have a quick shower before going on their way. Is this a long running joke? Odourless, because it's nothing more than water.! Show details
This stuff is useless – Spray as much as you like and flies will drink, swim and play in it, but they will not die! Unfortunately I can't give it less than 1 star. If you want to practice your aim continuously with the same target until the can is empty, you should buy this product. Show details
Terrible, not effective at killing flies – I’ve used nearly a whole can over the course of 1 day to try and kill 2 flies (spraying at close proximity) and they are still happily buzzing around. “Fast Knockdown” and “Kills in 1 Spray” is totally misleading, it certainly doesn’t do either. By far the worst fly spray ever and a total waste of money! Show details
"Claytons" Fly Spray – Pretty much like the rest of available fly sprays....Useless! Dept. Of Fair Trading need to take a look at Fly Spray Claims. Flys are immune these days. It doesn't work ! Show details
Raid odourless rubbish – Dont waste your money, just does not do what it's supposed to do which is kill flies. Sprayed directly on flies and still flew around half an hour later Show details
Utter rubbish – Fast knockdown? One shot? Wow this so bad. Flys take 12 to 24 hrs to die if at all. The only way to ensure death is to train the fly and tell it to ‘sit and stay’ and then douse it in this stuff. A completely useless product. Show details
raid one shot my [Word Removed] – so i am 15 minutes into watching a spider die from this spray supposedly one shot one kill spray. its absolute rubbish and am seeking a refund i found a spider on my ceiling 1.5 metrea away from me. i pointed and sprayed and it clearly got on it. but after 5 min it shrugged it off, wth i thought... so then i have sprayed it another 8 times!!! 8 i… Read more

Doesn't do the job – The flies in my office are either super strength mutants, or this stuff is rubbish. Sprayed the same flies multiple times and it didn't seem to bother them. I did see one dead one but I think it died laughing at me. Will not buy this brand again. Show details
Relieved to Read these Reviews – ....as I was worried that the coronavirus had turned the humble housefly into little 'Dirty Harrys" who were going to keep strafing me totally high on their newfound immunity. Three days..... three days!! ..... the horror, the horror. I hate the smell of odourless Raid in the morning! Show details
Didn't kill a single fly – Sprayed half a can in one room, then came back the next day and they were all in the air flying again and none were dead ones on the ground. Show details
Doesn’t kill – I have used this fly spray for about 4 weeks and it has killed a total of 0 flies. The most recent fly flew through the spray, got hit directly several times, started suffering a little, half hour later the noise was still going but I couldn’t see it - finally found it and gave it a good dose, ended up having to kill it with a stick to stop it… Read more
suffering. Similar thing happened with a couple of cockroaches. This fly spray isn’t quick, doesn’t work, and just makes these creatures suffer when you expect them to have a quick death. It does work on ants. But I would never buy again.
Useless waste of money – Does not kill anything even with direct hit. Don't waste your money on this product. I bought 2 tins. I'm going to throw them both out. This has made me angry cause I've tried to persist with no results. I can't get a refund. Show details
Little bit disappointed – Dear Raid, I cannot convey properly my disappointment with your product, but I will try. We purchased your product, and with full disclosure, we bought it as our normal Coles brand flying insect killer was not available due to the tsunami that hit in the middle of nowhere desecrating the ability of grocery deliveries to WA (wait until you see… Read more
the letter I have for Yoghurt suppliers!), but we purchased it with good faith as Raid seemed to have been a trusted brand for many users, for years and years (we did buy it from the Reject Shop which may have been a sign). We spent the extra few bucks to come home and watch the fly infestation in our home disappear with each squirt of your incredible product. Unfortunately, this does not seem to be the case. Whilst the Coles brand flying insect killer seems to kill faster than a man from Salisbury North in SA, that travels to Snowtown for recreational visits, your product does not seem to want to harm these little six legged buzzy whatsoever. And when it does actually kill them, they seem to return like Jason Voorhees from Halloween, over and over again. To portray our disappointment will be difficult. I once discreetly ordered my partner a sensational new toy from an undisclosed website that was nicely packaged and dropped to our doorstep. It was unwrapped with excitement until the moment it was revealed under the bubble wrap, the 240v battery pack and the usage instructions. Her disappointment to see that this was obviously manufactured by a man and her new ‘8-inch vibrating pole of pleasure’ was actually approximately half of that size and somewhat unsatisfactory. The disappointment for my partner in that situation pales in comparison to the disappointment your product has brought her. When she has one of these annoying insects buzzing around her face (pun intended), she would excitedly spray it directly in the flies face, waiting for the kill order to take effect like your can is literally shooting Liam Neeson out of the spray hole. It does seem though that your product does not actually kill these little, but instead automatically teaches them how to do circus tricks, roll around and then get back up again just to look my partner in the eyes and silently say “you need more excitement in your life”. We both have been trying to embrace our inner Samuel L Jackson to get these flies off our plane. Jeff Goldblum died faster than these little do, that’s if they actually die at all – I’m not certain he did either as they made a The Fly II although the directors may have used the Coles brand so he may have actually died. This in turn, brings me dismay as not only do I have to put up with flying, biting insects, I also have to comfort my partner with the fact that she has a new one on the way (which we can’t actually afford a new one due to us overextending on Raid fly spray) and reassure her that the first one was really 8 inches, I promise. Just an FYI, these flies are at least 2 inches long, at least. Normally, people would complain about a product, their packaging, their performance etc, and request a life long supply in replacement due to a poor experience. But not me. Not only does your Raid product not kill the annoying buggers that we want removed from the house, but it seems to encourage them to literally RAID our house with enthusiasm. I am fairly certain they are currently having a RAIVE in the loungeroom as we speak. I would generally sign a letter like this off with “Kind Regards,” but I find it almost impossible to type whilst being attacked by exoskeletons with wings. I look forward to your reply. PS, if you know of the website I was referring to earlier, please feel free to replace the cans of Raid we have purchased with a new thing to make my partner smile, if not, please buy yourself one and go screw yourself. I am fully aware that if I put this much effort into my career then I would be able to afford to buy Mortein, thank you.
Totally agree with all the reviews - Absolute rubbish! – Not much else I can add that hasn't already been said. The product is not fit for purpose -it cannot kill flies. Multiple sprays directly at flies does them no harm at all - they appear to just get more aggressive and start deliberately targeting you. Would be amusing if not for the fact this company is making a lot of money selling a product that doesn't work. Show details
Raid flyspray EPIC FAIL!!!! – Raid powershot is useless and does not kill anything. Spray flies multiple times with good bursts and they do not die. Does not even kill fruit flies. Not even deserving of a 1 star. Don't waste your money on Raid. Rip off and it should be taken off market as it's false advertising. Show details
