Great app very easy user interface. And great idea. Very happy so far. Have it set on moderate aggressive and it has been good. Will update after a few months.
Excellent App! Use code 6Y6U3J for $20 Bonus!
I have been really please with the raiz offering so far. They have so many portfolio that you can choose the level of risk you want. They are transparent and they even invest the dividends that you back back into your portfolio. I've made hundreds over the last few months and want to share this success with everyone!
No money to be made here.
Raiz app, features and processes are simple and easy to use. Unfortunately investing small amounts in there portfolios is pointless and your losing money while paying them fees. Last year Raiz lost you 0.46% on an aggressive portfolio (losses were large across there entire range) and you also paid them $3.50 a month to lose you the money. So if you invested $1000 over a year, $42 would be taken on fees and you would lose $4.6 from losses. This year seems like Raiz is on track to do even worse. Nice idea, but data behind it is flaud and customer...s need to be aware, they are losing money and not making anything. Doesn’t matter how many years you wait as per marketing claims. Best to keep your money and invest directly yourself. There app is good though, and I like accessing data easily, but check it yourself the Raiz investment decisions are not good.

Such a great app and company with a real focus on simple and user friendly investing. I've been using it for months now and very impressed with the returns I have made. I recommend that they do more marketing and outreach to get their name out more.

This is genuinely one of the best investment apps out there so I'd encourage you to stay invested instead of immediately withdrawing the money. The returns have been rock solid. Though note that past performance is not indicative of future performance. Will continue to use this for a long time to come.
Raiz has been a great way for me to start investing and learn the ins and outs without the pressure of researching the stock market. My understanding has improved with this easy to easy app and I love the round up option, I don’t even notice my micro investing happening! Use the code I’ve supplied in the title for a $5 start up bonus, you can’t go wrong :)

Very cool app that lets you round up everyday expenses. It's great that they let you choose various levels of risk when you join to suit your needs. Use my referral code: 6Y6U3J for a bonus when joining.
Great investing app for beginners/millenials
I have been with Raiz since 2017 when I was 22 (they used to be called Acorns then) and I started with basically zero knowledge or understanding of how to invest or what the market was all about.
Along with time and research, I've come to have a great understanding of investing in general and find Raiz to be a perfect fit for those that were like me. They provide good portfolios ranging from conservative to aggressive to cater to your risk tolerance and just recently, much to my delight, they now allow you to customise your own portfolio - go...ld! I also love that that you can now partially invest in bitcoin too on the emerald portfolio or your own portfolio. Though I have made minor losses on my capital due to a bear market perhaps, I find that leaving my capital and portfolio as is, I have, over time, managed to make back my losses plus make a capital gain (this is on an aggressive portfolio). When choosing your portfolio, you must understand what your tolerance and attitude to risk is first. If you choose an aggressive portfolio and make losses, this isn't a reflection on Raiz's performance as a company at all. It is all to do with your risk tolerance and what you are prepared to lose. Investments in general, irrespective of risk, are never guaranteed to make you a return on your capital but the longer you are in the market, you'll find those gains eventually come through in time. Another pro is being able to offset the monthly fees (currently $4.50 with my customised portfolio) with the surveys through the rewards app - I managed to amass nearly $40 in survey rewards which was invested into my account in essentially a month. You can also get cashback on purchases made through the Raiz app which are then re-invested into your account aswell.
awesome way to save for a house deposit!
I have been with raiz now for a few years and have found the app fantastic to assist me save for a home. I highly recommend downloading the app and starting.

Awesome starting point for those that start with nothing
Had zero savings. It's literally like putting your digital silver change into a digital money box that make you more money. And you can do surveys to counteract the fees.

Great way to start investing
This app has been great for me. I have it linked to my account with the auto round up feature. The automatic savings and returns on them has been awesome.
Once I hit a certain amount I withdraw it to invest in the ASX.
Great way to get some yield when bank savings accounts don't..
Easy and reliable way to get some returns on my savings. App works very well and it's pretty inexpensive compared to other platforms. Gives access to diversified portfolio at a lower cost and also some pretty cool discount/reward offers.
Raiz is a fantastic set and forget micro investing tool to help you take control of your future
I have been using Raiz as a long-term investing product since 2017 and have been using the Aggressive Portfolio which has provided me an impressive 20.69% return overall (Not indicative of what everyone's performance would be based on a number of factors such as time in market and frequency and value of money invested - past performance is also not an indicator of future performance)
Raiz lets you select a from several pre-defined portfolios from conservative to aggressive. You set up daily, weekly, fortnightly, or monthly reoccurring investme...nts to a value of your choosing and can also link your bank account to round up your spending into your Raiz account. i.e. spend $3.50 on a coffee and $50c will get invested at set points (when your round up total reaches $5 as an example). One of the best features is fractional shares in your portfolio, i.e. your $100 fortnightly investment gets you a percentage of the shares in the different ETF's that make up your portfolio. Other features such as finance tracking in the app from your linked bank account and rewards for shopping at partners is a bonus. There is a monthly fee that can potentially be deducted from your tax at the end of the year and underlying ETF fees that you don't see. Raiz also makes sure that your investment's stick with the target allocation for your portfolio.
Trustworthy but not useful
In 2 years since 2018, I made 3% profit on an aggressive plan. Definitely not something that I consider for an intelligent investor. You are better to just out your money on S&P 500 and you would make more money.
Spaceship Is Better
You need to pay a monthly $2.50 fee for Raiz regardless of your account balance. For Spaceship, you only pay a monthly fee for balances over $5,000.
I guess it also depends on your portfolio; my Raiz one hasn't been that great (currently at a loss since the beginning) and to further take the hit is the monthly fee. On the other hand the Spaceship is rocketing and I don't even need to pay a monthly fee.
