Instead of black mouse droppings we now have beige coloured mouse droppings. Followed the instructions & 7 days later all the bait is eaten from the station. Clearly the mice are having a lovely time being fed indoors. Do not waste your money on this product. Useless – I have tried this and given it time but am convinced there is an ingredient in it that the rodents dont like. I live rural and we get lots of rats and mice. to the box of Ratsak. By morning both blocks were demolished. The Ratsak was untouched. Have repeated this several times with the same result. Its a waste of money. They need to change whatever is in it to attract the mice and rats or do some testing on the ingredients because whatever it is actually deters them from eating it. A tip for others with Rats in your roof area, ceiling. You do not want to kill them there. They will smell like death for weeks and be sickening. Get the cheapest insect surface spray from any supermarket. Do not get odourless, no way,that will be pointless. Get the smelliest one you can, the cheapest the smellier. Go for home brand types. Up in your roof trap lift it and spray at least half the can. Full the best. Hey, what's a few bucks! Do it a couple of times a week. Rats hate it. It won't kill them but will make them exit stage right! Keep it up for a couple of weeks with baits outside. They will leave. Try, it works. Done it for years and swear by it.

preparation. I despaired. Then, I saw your product. I didn't really believe that they rodents would be able to chew through the cover and eat the pellets which are definitely too large for them (they're not rats). so by using a broom stick I slowly beat the envelope until the pellets broke into smaller particles... I emptied some ratsak in three different areas of the kitchen. I saw them carefully approaching the smashed pellets, smelling them and finally beginning to eat them... This process was repeated for three nights.. all I did was to gather the ratsak together in a neat square formation so I could se if they step on it and ate anything while I was asleep or away. They did! After the third night they disappeared, it has been 10 nights since the grand exit took place. I don't believe my luck. I still leave the product there using the square formation method. No sign of them. I gave you 4 instead of 5 stars. I am going to wait a bit more to see how it goes. Actually, I am so happy now that I wouldn't mind if they left me alone for such a long period. I thought this beastly mouse had eaten ratsak and recovered as he was running riot through his tank trying escape like a lunatic all time.

06.07.16 was sluggish and died around 1pm

Final review: definitely works. Just takes around 7 days to actually kill them (it definitely interrupts the breeding cycle). It took about week to wipe out a family of strays I had earlier this year. Place it away from animals and children.

I ended up putting a throw bag behind the stove and microwave where I was finding a majority of droppings.

IT DOES NOT KILL OUR RATS – I have been putting out Ratsak double strength pellets daily now for months and the pellets still disappear each night. Why isn't it killing them? Mice eat this stuff like they're potato crisps ! – Not a cheap product but I was ready to spend anything for some peace - no such luck!!! The mice love this stuff so much they are gobbling it up by the tin full every night and even climbed to the top of the laundry cupboard to eat their way into the box. rats) so I thought my troubles were over. But poison still was getting eaten every night. I started getting so sick of this that I bought an infrared camera to find out what was going on. After weeks of monitoring, I noticed that every night the same 2 rats were coming and eating the poison. Their behaviour was quite habitual. Now, if I had eaten as much poison as these rats had done, I would be 6 feet underground in a cemetery, but these rats just LOVED the stuff. Thrived on it! Got bigger and fatter and after a few weeks they even seemed to be faster. I should add that I also went through a pack of Ratsak Fast Action with which just 4 grams is meant to kill a rat. Well they just woofed that down like it was chocolate and came back night after night for more. I ended up using a cheap wooden trap and sticking some of the Ratsak down onto it and finally had success by snapping it in the trap. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY with this crap. The rats LOVE it and it does NOT kill them, even after many weeks of nightly feasts. It possibly kills mice, but if you have a rat problem, you may as well open up your toilet and put your wallet in there and flush it instead of using Ratsak.

Mice love it, but does nothing – Had a large mouse hanging around the house. I set up some feeding stations and it ate from one of them every night for 4-5 days, it consumed ~150grams. Ended up setting a trap where the bait station was and trapped it that night! Useless stuff! Show details

Worst decision of my entire life and I’ve made some doozies – I put this poison out for 2 weeks. Each day I would watch the rats eat it whilst they eyed me patronisingly. Not only did this “poison” not harm them, it seemed to make them stronger and smarter. SAFER ALTERNATIVE – I used this product, until I found out what it does. The rats don't die quickly and pain free, they can take up 2 to 7 days suffering by bleeding internally before dying. If our pets or wildlife then eat them, they to can be poisoned and die a painful death. There are safer alternatives. Show details

Waste of time and money – Have purchased 4 x1kg boxes of double strength ratsack. Doesn't work mice and rats seem to thrive on it. Set traps caught 3 mice 24hrs after leaving copious amounts of ratsack out for 6 weeks .Wouldn't recommend save your dollars. Show details
