build and our foreman is such a nice guy, again explaining what is happening and why. Again, communication is outstanding and we would like to thank Carla, Julie and Julia for all the extra help and guidance from their experience and guidance which has made the selection process easy to do. Great pre-construction experience – We couldn't be happy with the service that Natasha has provided us. She was patient with our questions, thorough in her answers and helped us push through the tender process quickly. Love our home – First time building a house! The service we received from Rawson Homes out of the Newcastle office was excellent. Communication from the beginning to end was timely and ongoing. Greg was hands on and kept us regularly informed on the status of the build. The quality of the build was outstanding and many people have commented on how lovely the home is. After hand over, there were minimal concerns to be addressed and the warranty manager Beverly and supervisor Rod were on top of every concern and had them resolved in a timely manner. Would definitely build with Rawson again.

Poor communication and processes – We found the pre-construction period to be extremely stressful and we were constantly let down by poor communication between the internal teams within Rawson Homes. These errors should never have passed the drafting team.

The process was extremely slow, and we felt like just a number throughout the entire pre-construction process. Very disappointing for such a big company like Rawson.

back prior to the actual pre-construction process, I have to say we were very unhappy with the Rawson land development team. They ignored email requests for more information as we endured delay after delay to the point where our build has started a year after the sales rep told us it would.

Been an easy ride.. No hidden costs - build quality and inclusion is excellent – I am no expert but I consider Quality of construction and inclusions to be superb. In particular I appreciate the energy savings we have received with our package - The Insulation seems to be really good don't even notice the cold on these last cold nights. I know other people who have built project homes through different companies and I think we may have paid a little more but consider our house to be far superior in quality and particularly inclusions.

Staff during inception were very easy and helpful to deal with. Site manager during build has been very approachable and has gone above and beyond what was expected.

There has been no hidden costs or nasties cropped up - What was quoted at the start was honored.

All good so far – From the outset, we felt comfortable with with our choice to build with Rawson, with our main contact Eleanor from the Newcastle office making life easy and keeping us as informed a she could. any hidden costs, or nasty surprises along the way. Construction started and went along well. Towards completion our Site Supervisor became not so helpful and his communication was very poor. We struggled with he lack of work that was getting done. Not long after this though, we received an email from Rawson explaining that our Site Supervisor no longer worked for them and they had appointed a new one to us. This was the best outcome for us, the new Site supervisor took on a massive task in getting our house complete in a short time and his communication with us was fantastic. We could not be happier with his efforts. Overall, we are very happy in our new home. Thanks Rawson!

The Edge. We were beaming with excitement and we were still in the entry. By the time we had reached the family room we had declared The Edge the one for us. And it only got better, by the ensuite we were sold.

We hightailed it to a Rawson consultant and plans were quickly underway. We changed the windows, added in a butler’s pantry, increased the size of the garage and the cost for the changes was very reasonable. We loved the inclusions and appreciated the upgrades, again reasonably priced. We will be forever grateful to the external colour consultants. We had six go’s at getting the colours right before we finally decided on a colour scheme. The consultants were brilliant and gave us sound advice and suggestions. Through the process we changed our entire colour scheme and we love the metallic look we have gone for.

The build process was largely smooth sailing. Our supervisor happily addressed any issues we raised. My husband and I are both very particular and not easily pleased. We moved into our home a few months ago and we are beyond thrilled. We love our Rawson home
