I rang and spoke to someone and they said it shows up in there end and looks fine. Why does this company take so long. The contact us is useless. There is no Web chat like it says, and you can't even email. You can only get through to them by phone. Facebook messenger they dont reply either. Useless company for such a big sporting business. Very unhappy with this service.
Not sure how a popular store with deep pockets have the worst not only customer service but the worst web browser. I’ve seen better web browsers in India and Bangladesh this piece of trash that I’m trying to use to purchase things from them. What makes this even more frustrating is that the exact same item remained available for purchase on their website, which is confusing and inconsistent.
As a result, my child did not receive their Christmas present. Being given a $200 store voucher and having it referred to as a “courtesy refund” is frankly a joke. I didn’t cancel my order, and a voucher is not a refund, especially when Rebel has already demonstrated they cannot fulfil what I wanted, and I have no desire to purchase anything else from them.
Under Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to a refund when goods cannot be supplied within a reasonable time. Store credit cannot be imposed in place of a refund.
This experience has completely eroded my trust. I would rather support a locally owned sports store than deal with this again.

But no, AFTER YOU COUGH UP THE MONEY, you get an email saying that Egift card will be sent "within six hours". So much for "a last minute gift". I might as well have driven half-an-hour to the store. Now I don't know what to do: Do I wait and hope that the gift card arrives in the email before I have to leave? Or go to the store and buy another one?

No dramas for me shopping online with Rebel – I've shopped online a few times with Rebel Sport now and have had no issues at all. (which was my problem, not Rebel Sport sending the wrong items or anything like that). Only had to pay for the box to ship them back in, which was about $5 at Australia Post. Rebel Sports pays for returns if the items weight less than 22kgs. So not sure why anyone would complain as if they had to pay the full cost of the shipping to return a mere couple of t-shirts or similar items, because Rebel don't do that. Got an email to inform me they had received my return within a couple of days. They would inspect the shoes (which would take up to 2 weeks) and if no problems, then they would refund me straight away. 7 business days later and the refund was back into my credit card. No dramas. I'll certainly be spending more at Rebel Sport in the future, especially since they seem to be better at stocking more plus sized Adidas and Nike clothing, than the actual brand-named sites themselves care to stock for us plus sized folks.
If only more people would add positive reviews, too, instead of just focusing only on the negative experiences they have with businesses and companies. So then we can start to get a better idea of how well or poorly a business REALLY is like. Surely not every business or company is worth no more than 2 or 3 stars. Because that's all I seem to see with almost every business or company review nowadays. Which could truly be down to people only caring to say something when it's bad and not caring enough to say when things went well, too.

I had to then call up support to chase this up, was told that I had to wait 2 business days for another team to pickup the ticket, then organize a time for someone to come to my house to look at the product, then they will decide what to do next, either request to send the missing legs or request to send a new one and this whole process can take up to 3 weeks.
It's absurd, given it's clearly an issue between Rebel's warehouse and the courier and with all the evidence provided.
I requested for it to be escalated, got a call from the Melbourne team, was told they will contact AlliedExpress as they had checked within the warehouse that they did scan 2 items, then they will either get AlliedExpress to send the item or they will send one from the warehouse. Again, its a waiting game with a product that is not usable taking up space, hence 1 star.
The operators I've spoken to had been nice and helpful, I know they are doing their best, following processes, and having to deal with a frustrated customer, but given the amount of successful deliveries I see in the reviews, this should not have happened.
I wan't going to post here, however after they've rejected my review without contacting me and simply providing a generic response about not aligning with their website guidelines, this simply allows them to manipulate their ratings however they want.
Beware of purchasing from them online.
[9th April 2024] Update After multiple follow up calls to get an update, I decided to ask Rebel why bother making the customer wait for an issue not caused by the customer. I've requested if they can simply send me the missing items from one of the local stores and they can continue to deal wit AlliedExpress. Thankfully the operator provided a solution for me to return the item and swap for the new item, which I agreed and that has now been sorted. Hence bumping back the 1 star review to a 4 star review.
The operators/agents I've spoken to on the phone was always very friendly and helpful, they are doing their best to help and I appreciate that, we got there at the end.

I ordered an item online and returned it. It was confirmed by Australia Post that it was returned and it has now been over a month and my refund/return hasn’t been processed, despite multiple emails to Rebel. Rebel has told me that there were delays over the Christmas/New Year period which I understand, but it is well past that time now and there has been no effort to follow up with me or update me about the status of the order.

Purchased a product online,. Then the grubs used my mobile number to spam me with marketing rubbish without my consent. My phone is a work phone.. if I get a SMS Message I have to check it in case it is a customer. If I am driving I have pull over to check the message. Can you imagine how happy it makes me when sitting on the side of the road to discover it is marketing garbage that I never consented to receive.
Atrocious. Shipped me the wrong item and so i had to return. There is no way to access Returns Portal on the website but through contacting Customer Support which will take ages in queue before you reach someone only to be told to go back to the FAQ on website. I purchased a Spalding basket ball system and after 2 years the backboard cracked. I tried raising the issue with Spalding direct but after no reply for a month, I turned to Rebel for assistance. After a very helpful phone call and promise to resolve 5 days and 3 agents later I was told to take it up with Spalding. In the end I purchased a replacement backboard dispite the 5 year warrenty.

Purchased a NordicTrack treadmill 3 years ago. Treadmill stopped working, won’t turn on. I contact Rebel Support they ask for a bunch of info, after 3 weeks of back and forth, they decide it’s not their issue because iFit said the machine is out of warranty despite them not inspecting the product and the machine motor and frame having 10 years warranty. Will be reviewing my legal rights and taking further action.

Suspect stall tactics to avoid paying out on warranties – Bought a Celsius RW1 from Rebel, a few months into use and under warranty bolt snapped. Had a technician called out and report made that it's unrepairable. Call support and told that they are waiting for a second group of technicians..Come across as using stall tactics to avoid giving out legal warranties on faulty products. Still have not heard anything back or given a refund. Would not recommend to have anything to do with this company.
