Vey similar experience to Yoshi. Ordered a genuine battery, from what appeared to be an Australian supplier. Received a cheap knock-off, shipped directly from China. After complaining, apology provided that the genuine product was out of stock so they shipped a compatible alternative. Was offered a refund of the difference in price. This means… Read more
that: 1. They advertise products that they cannot supply, and don't mark them as out of stock 2. They ship cheaper alternatives without advising the customer 3. When they ship an alternative cheaper product, they do not automatically refund the difference in price. These are not the hallmarks of a reliable and trustworthy supplier.
UPDATE: Have just had an email back from the company acknowledging these issues and committing to improving their processes to avoid this kind of issue in the future. I can't imagine this will happen quickly, but at least that have acknowledged the issues. Have upgraded my rating to two stars to recognise this.
Items posted from China mainland, Tracking number provided doesn’t exist, just a number. Deceiving advertising, site and data not reliable at all, 5 weeks and am still awaiting an item to be posted from New South Wales, Australia? I had to learn the hard way. I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing it from this site. It’s too late now. I hope this info will help others. Show details
Second hand batteries supplied and failed very quickly!! – DO NOT BUY OFF THIS COMPANY: We ordered a replacement battery for a Lenovo laptop with 12 12-month warranty. The battery failed after 8 months. The wanted another $34 to send us a replacement. It arrived and lasted only 6 months. We requested a refund for both batteries as we didn't get what we paid for. I suspect that the batteries sent were… Read more
second-hand because they didn't last very long and failed before the 12-month warranty period. They offered to refund us our money but have yet to do so. It seems they promise but never come up with their promise, and why should they? This company is based in China. They do have an ABN and an Australian website, but they are not an Australian company. We purchased a replacement through an Australian company, which was a new one when it arrived. We determined this because of the packaging it was in when it arrived. The packaging vastly differed from the two batteries we purchased from this company.

Fake products. Did get a refund and kept (working) adaptor – Adaptor advertised as genuine, including photo of an authentic Netgear adaptor. Page even says why you should buy genuine replacements. I emailed twice asking where it was. Website says next day shipping and that it’s Australian - so after 10 days I was concerned. I received replies to both emails asking me to keep waiting. It did arrive, after 2… Read more
weeks. It was a Chinese fake adaptor. Plugged it in, it did work. I don’t know for how long but it’s better than not working out of the box. I lodged a PayPal dispute because the product was fake. Received refund from the seller within 24 hours. So yes the site is a load of [Content Removed], but I did receive A product, the seller did communicate and when I disputed the transaction my payment was refunded without having to fight for it. I wouldn’t buy from them again but it sounds like I was luckier than some other reviewers.
Fraudulent Chinese company. They took my money but never sent the battery – On December 27, 2021 I payed $77.18 for the battery (Dell 13 7373 - F62G0 Battery). I never received the buttery and when I asked for the refund they stopped replying on my emails. PayPal also did not help, so I lost $77.18

Oh no! Not me too! But wait!!! It finally arrived – Upgraded to 4 stars for product quality that we received. Originally it was 1 because the product never arrived until long after this review. 3/9/2024 it took ages to arrive - Australia post tells me it was shipped from Ryde NSW - but considering this is only 2 hours down the road. It must have been drop shipped from China to Australia before… Read more
they could post it through Australia post.
Edit: so the battery eventually turned up… from China. It came in plain packaging. It would appear that the plastic coating on the battery was not original. Basically looked as good as my vinyl book covering skills as a pre-schooler. I put the battery in myself and I have not heard of it has blown up. But it worked fine perfectly for the next 4 months until the screen on the laptop broke. And I cracked the sh*ts and went and bought an Apple laptop so I never had to deal with battery replacement.
The other laptop battery we ordered has not caused a fire and is working fine.
After the initial drama of thinking I had bought from a scam website.
Original message: All over their website is Australia! Australia! Australia! I first became suspicious on day 4 when I noticed a conversion fee on my Bank account.
I did do a PayPal payment and for some reason it failed. They must have it set up not to accept PayPal so that you cannot claim a refund when the product fails. I figured it was coming from Sydney or Melbourne. How could I be so stupid. The staff hours are listed in “pacific time” not in ‘eastern standard time’. For a page that announces its in Australia 6 times in one screen shot - I should have caught on. Off to the bank I go! To report suspicious activities
No problems – After purchasing a battery and then reading the reviews I was concerned. But I shouldn't have been, emailed and asked for the tracking no.. which they supplied. Took about 2 weeks to arrive from China (and what doesn't come from China these days). Works well Show details
Had no Issues at all – I found them great to deal with. I found my replacement laptop charger. paid for it and it arrived in less than 2 weeks, yes it was sent from China but so what isn't everything. They sent the correct one I ordered and im back up and running no issues what so ever Show details

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY – DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY..My replacement laptop charger went faulty after less than 6 months. This company accepted that it was faulty, but wanted more money to send the replacement. When I enquired why? they didn't even have the courage to respond. So buyer beware, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Show details
Atrocious, avoid like the plague – Battery shown as 'in stock', once purchased that changed to, 'awaiting battery from our supplier'. When the battery finally arrived, its performance was about a third of the original manufacturers battery. Attempted a warranty claim, only to be offered a new battery at a discounted price. I advised that I would just like to get what I paid for. Silence ever since. Avoid. Show details
Scammed – Ordered a laptop battery and waiting 2 weeks now. Online Chat (to follow up order) only functions occasionally and erratically and all responses are canned responses. They even provided a fake tracking number (to track order from China). Very clever website but still a scam - avoid at all costs (unless you like wasting money)

Scammers... beware – Looks like i'm another victim, wishing I had seen this review site before. I originally confirmed the photo of the purported laptop battery which I had already seen after pulling apart my own laptop. So after waiting 2 weeks and getting nothing sent, I check my messages and found that they had surreptiously sent emails after finalizing the… Read more
payment, asking me to confirm the same details again. It's just another case of, if it's too cheap/good to be true then it probably isn't, more fool me for thinking I was getting a bargain. But these guys are tricky, I got sucked in by seeing the Aussie flag on the website. If money wasn't an issue I probably wouldn't have been so easily duped, but when you are counting the pennies every cent counts.
Anyway luckily they offer paypal, so I'm just going to demand a refund, but tbh all this time wasted over a few lousy bucks is hardly worth the effort. So if I can add to the warnings already posted here in the hope that I saved someone else their precious time then I don't mind spending a couple of minutes to warn others.

Fraudulent Company - Buyer Beware – Ordered a laptop battery from this company believing it to be an Australian company as it does state that it is. A month later I’m still waiting for the battery. Can’t understand why this company is still able to operate, with the amount of people it has ripped off, by either not delivering there goods or sending very dodgy products. Really wish I… Read more
had done my research into this company , as it is nothing but a scam. Will be contacting PayPal for a refund.
Not genuine replacement as advertised. Photos don't match what is sent. Terrible customer service after payment – Ordered a genuine Australian Samsung soundbar adaptor as was advertised. Photos matched the one we wanted to replace. Also communicated with them and sent photos to ensure replacement was exactly as advertised. When we received it the adaptor was from overseas. It required an adaptor so it could be plugged into the wall. Two very fragile and… Read more
suspect adaptors were included. One wouldn't stay on the plug and kept popping off. Neither matched the amps required. I contacted the store. Can only do so via chat. First time I waited for an hour and was disconnected. The second time they again failed to respond until I said I'd leave a bad review. They said someone would respond. I again waited for an hour and was disconnected. Don't deal with these people. Others in these reviews are saying it isn't a genuine Aussie website as they appear to be.
Buyer beware, however all good in the end – Like most reviewers I also believed at first that this company was an Australian company, However on closer scrutiny of their website it became obvious that they are in fact not an Australian company and their head office was most likely in China. I believe this to be the case because of the diction, in most of there written content. It is very… Read more
clear that it is not written by an Australian run business. However I also was under the belief that from what was written in there website they have distribution centers with in Australia, how wrong could I have been. I did order a new battery from them, Toshiba PA518U-1BRS, as there price was the best I could find online for an Original Toshiba Battery $60.57 AU ( or so they let you believe it to be original).as it stated that it come with 30 day money back and 12 months Warranty. and free delivery I did receive confirmation email of order been placed and that tracking number would be received in 4 days. This was my first concern as there website states normal delivery time 2-11 days, yet they are telling me that I should receive my tracking number in 4 days. I did receive tracking number 3 days after placing order. Needless to say 11 days passed (max normal delivery time as per there website) and no sign of delivery, the tracking number was useless with no information to show when or were item is to be delivered. Obviously second concern have I done in my money Surprising 32 days after I placed order battery did arrive. From China not Australia. Initially battery seem to work well charged up quickly and lasted for many hours before needing to be recharged and it looked identical to my original Toshiba Battery. However this is where it starts to go down hill, about 7 months after receiving battery it started showing signs of early deterioration. The charge state of battery would show for example 60% capacity and with out warning my computer would shut down completely (hopefully not before I have saved any import info I was working on). On connecting AC power back onto computer it shows remaining battery charge at 1%. I tried to re-condition battery by charging to around 75-80% to see if it helps no luck, it got to the point were the battery would then take several days to recharge to around 70-80% rate and very, very slowly at best. I know use computer mainly while connected to AC power since I cannot trust battery. At this point at around my 8 month since receiving battery I contacted (by email) Customer service department to complain about issues I am having with battery They did respond and suggested that I download Batterymon app to monitor battery, and send them some screen shots. I looked into the authenticity of the app and when I was satisfied that it was genuine did down load and run the app, if your familiar with this app you know that it monitors battery condition discharge /charge rate ex. supposed to help you understand how your battery is performing. On sending them the screen shots they replied back and told me that they are prepared to send out replacement battery but only if I agreed to pay $20 postage. Well obviously I am not going to pay any company postage for the replacement of faulty item within the warranty period 12 months, Also they asked for $20 postage were on there website there postage cost is only $5.98. I reminded them that item has 12 month warranty and there fore there is no cost to customer for replacement. As I write this review I am awaiting there response I have told them that I will forward my complaint with consumer affairs if they do not replace faulty battery.
My recommendation to any potential purchaser would be to look at how a business treats its customers when things go wrong (regardless of which country they are based in) It seems that even though I did receive my purchase (never the less well past expected time) now that I am having issues with the item it seems like they are showing there true colors and how they operate their business.
I would say stay away from this company, you may receive your item but if it goes pear shape you will have a fight on your hands to get it rectified.
Last but not lest if you do decide to buy from them, use paypal or similar payment option . Much easier to get your money back if it all goes wrong.
This update was posted on the 20/06/2022. The company got back to me today and stated that there were no batteries available in their warehouse. However they did offer me a full refund which I accepted and it was paid back into my Paypal account immediately. Needless to say even though the battery is showing signs of early deterioration and I will have to purchase new battery, the fact that they eventually refunded my full purchase price gives me more confidence for this company.
SCAMMERS – I only wish I saw these reviews before I wasted my time and money with these crooks. I ordered a relacement battery for my laptop which I waited ages for I didn`t… Read more
even get a tracking number, probably because they didn`t send it in the first place. After sending them several emails, all I got back were automated replies which were a pathetic attempt at writing something in English. If you`re reading this, I would strongly recommend that you buy locally, even if it does cost a little bit more it`s worth it because you will get your goods straight away and you won`t have any problems. These people are liars and conmen and the only reason I gave one star is because I can`t leave any less!
Don't buy here – They sent the wrong battery but would not replace or refund. They only offered discount if I bought replacement battery. No tracking info. Took a long time to arrive. Don't buy from them. Show details

posted 31DEC21. They directed me to their Consig tracking number which still, as of today, 21FEB22, does not exist on the the http://www.17track.net/en website. Also they advised then that this Consig tracking number would take effect when the item "arrived in the country", leading me to believe that it was coming from overseas somewhere. As of today, it has not arrived. HOW FRUSTRATING !!
On 12JAN22, I placed a credit card Disputed Transaction with my bank. Within 10 days they promptly refunded me the monies I had paid to this supplier.
So then I drove 5 kms, paid 30% more for one here locally, installed it, and "bob's your uncle"!!
What a painful experience ! AND what a lesson learnt !
Fraudulent, Chinese website, useless battery – The 'Genuine' Toshiba battery arrived with the obviously 'ungenuine' stickers falling off. It lasts less time than the one I am replacing, but also now the laptop doesn't even hold the date and time when it runs out of charge (about an hour of use). Have to return it to China at my expense, and they inform to specify it is worth $8 on the package (not sure who they are trying to defraud there). Don't touch them.
SCAMMERS - DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE – I ordered a replacement battery from this company on 21st December, all looked good as they sent email saying it was shipped same day. Dodgy – Ordered laptop battery from a supposedly Australian company, paid with PayPal and the money was sent to some place in China-1st concern. Scamming rats – I could smell a rat a mile of, first paypal payment fails then their payment request goes to spam, then they tell you to use another email, so they can hack it too, glad I didn't order, whenever you see an online shop with no phone number, run for the hills. Better luck next time rice eater.
Pure fraud – I wished I had read these reviews before placing my order for a laptop battery and a charger. just paid $80.00 for two pieces of crap. Trying a refund would be time consuming and stressful and probably this is what the owners of this Chinese business masked under he umbrella of an Australian site relay on. My advise is not to trash your money as I did. If you have some money to give better give it to a charity.
Took the money and Never delivered the item – Ordered a battery and never got it and they took the money. Tried to reach them but they do not respond This company steels your money DO NOT USE THEM.
This is disaster seller – We have purchased Laptop battery, took a month to get it and when we returned it no help and no refund. They want us to send it to china to get refund.
What! – After reading the reviews, i regret purchasing. May i ask how do i refund, my parents have never online shopped. I am worried to tell them. It was sketchy from the start. The website layout and etc.
Absolute fraudsters – Ordered a Dell XPS battery replacement. There was no communication after the order placed. After several attempts, was given a tracking number. Conned by a Disreputable Company – Ordered a laptop battery that took nearly 3 weeks to arrive. Was found to be faulty so emailed them to try & get a replacement or refund. day. A week later, I checked again and found that the status was still not shipped. When I went online to chat with the supplier, they mentioned that they have a problem with their courier system. Told them I wanted the AusPost tracking number (which was in their website), they couldn't provide. They made me wait online for more than 1.5 hours after this message, "We are checking for you now. Please wait a moment"... Nothing happened.
Just as well, I paid through Paypal. I lodged a complaint to have my money refunded. Less than 30 minutes later, the supplier decided to cancel my order and refund through my Paypal account. What would have happened if I did not use PayPal or credit card??? Well, all the best to you if you still want to order through this supplier. ProductReview has helped me a lot and I should have read the reviews first... so take heed.
Not legitimate – Battery ships from Hong Kong, takes weeks to arrive, there is no tracking number. This is an overseas seller posing as Australian and doing NONE of the regular e-commerce stuff you expect them to do. I waited and the battery DID turn up, thank God. Now it has totally died after about 4-5 months. Won't hold a charge. A rare totally shonky company. Avoid and poor things upon you replacement-laptop-battery.
Another fake website -no contact phone number – Ordered a battery $88, they say 2 days delivery....3 weeks later no battery, no contact, no refund. Should have guessed it was a fake website...Theres NO contact phone number so that sort of gives it away.
Good customer service – I bought a battery from replacement-laptop-battery.com last May (2019) and it failed in December. I contacted them and although it took a while to reply (Spring festival) they were happy to refund my money. Thanks
