Every time I have tried to communicate with RPBA, the only option is via email, the response either never comes, or takes weeks to come. For the price I’m paying I expected at least some form of two way communication option.

RPBA has been amazing. Extremely helpful with the signup process and quick to respond with any questions. Would 100% recommend them. The vet who did my breeders audit was so lovely and had the same values as I do with loving our pets. They truly have the animals best interests as their goal. Love being able to send a picture or multiple to them for thw RPBA banner to be put on to the picture. Great for social media too.

held back on becoming a “full member” because of the Vet audit. I was scared that I wasn’t going to be qualified. I had read through their requirements, ticked all the boxes and just booked that appointment. I passed with flying colors. Now, if you do not pass (and perhaps they pull up on some things); look at this on a positive note and it is something that you can improve on. They are not there to judge you. They are there to help you out in anyway, shape or form. So, do not be scared to become a full member, because it is worth it and you have their full support. All in all, they are there to look out for the best interest of your pets.
As the first time breeder, they have a whole heap of information from whelping to the selling process: requirements, forms, applications, things that you’ve not thought about with regards to becoming an informed breeder/seller. There’s a lot of information there for you, which answers a lot of questions. Don’t do it on your own. They’re there to support you, whilst you support your breed.

Tammi was incredibly kind and helpful through my purchasing process. Despite the challenges of an interstate adoption, she went above and beyond to ensure my new pup arrived safely and in perfect health. Her commitment to the wellbeing of her dogs is truly commendable.

No response from RPBA after notifying them our puppy has hip dysplasia and the breeder never tested the parent dogs despite claiming they did and the breed being predisposed to hip dysplasia. Show details

Their online tools are super user friendly, and I appreciated the support I received. Just setup a website with them too which was included for me as a member. It’s also encouraging to see their advocacy against puppy farming and their work with local councils.

How I felt about my Audit – I had my Audit on Friday with Sam, she was very friendly, I was concerned of what prep I needed to get done prior to this meeting and found out that your really don't need to, she wanted to know where to dogs sleep, where the food is kept, the backyard, then asked some questions that were simple but very relevant like cleaning the dog bedding. my advice to other is don't overthink things when preparing.

Easy and stress free – I had put off becoming a RPBA member thinking that it would be too hard and that my breeding set up would not comply. Boy was I wrong!
