My experience is similar where something goes wrong. Very poor customer experience and they try and indicate that you are lying or that it is your fault and won't take any responsibility.

Most recently, I made a transfer that never reached the recipient. I was informed it was held for security verification, which is understandable. However, when I followed up via email to resolve the issue, I received no response at all. This lack of communication and accountability is concerning, especially when it involves your money.

Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others: if you ever need support, don’t expect timely or effective help. For that reason, I would recommend staying with a local financial institution where customer service is more accessible and responsive.

Zero stars! Good luck trying to close your account and speak to anyone about this. An impossible task. Their 'support' team will mess you around on their faulty "app" . Good luck.. plenty of other better options around. You've been warned! Stay clear.

I have not been paid for a referral and had nothing but great service even helped me with a scam. Best banking app I have used. Transfer money in seconds exchange funds to any currency and international fees very very reasonable. No other fees has been my experience. Thank you Revolut .

Perfect one – I have sent my funds to revolut in order to start using your service as my main account, I needed to send money to my other personal account in order to use for my payments. Adding money is easy and prompt. The app experience was terrible, if you are out of the app for a bit, it locks up.

Awesome – I've had nothing but great experiences with Revolut. I've been using them for almost two years now. Offer good exchange rates, customer service isn't bad, and good benefits. The way you can manage your money is incredible within the app.

Account got blocked wit no reasons or explaining. No real person to complain or solve issues,no phone nr. Avoid with All cost. Money getting frozen for weeks with no expectations.

As other people have had. Cancelled premium but keeps charging for at minimum an additional month. Also has no airline lounges in any any of the Australian airports that i could use. Rubbish app.

On Monday 19th January 2026 I opened an account to transfer into Singapore Dollar and Thai Baht for when I go overseas in February 2026, which I did. On Monday 26th January 2026 I checked with somebody on chat and they told me that they charge overseas fees, which was a complete lie so whatever you do please don't open a Revolut account because the people on chat are just liars so they cannot be trusted.

and responses are generic and unhelpful. I’ve asked multiple times for either a reliable completion estimate or cancellation of the transfer, but I still have not received clear answers.

While Revolut’s app and fees can be good when things go smoothly, the lack of transparent communication, accountability, and response timelines has been frustrating and has caused real inconvenience. I hope they improve their complaints process and support response to better assist customers who encounter problems.

Stay away. Just by using them, locks you into six months of monthly fees that is impossible to remove. Not only that, they stopped my payment to a business, one I had already paid to. Hi, My experience suggests that Revolut is a scam. If it were not for intervention by Australia Federal Authority, I would have lost over $ 500. Revolut blocked my account, no questions asked, ignoring my attempts to regain access to my funds. I understand, many 'customers' give up. My advice - steer well clear or risk loosing your money J

Do not use this mob! It's a fraud. They will encourage you to load the card with the money and then simply block it for "security review". You won't get it back. I do not get how they are allowed to operate

These guys are a scam. They sign me up to a premium membership without my consent. When I choose to cancel this they want me to pay two months of premium subs in advance to do so. The number of one star Trustpilot ratings over the past two weeks speaks of a company in financial distress. If you have funds in your Revolut account I suggest you withdraw these asap.

Update they have replied the same thing over and over again on every platform where I have reviewed them even on Reddit yet they are not helping me get my money back at all. tjem to a cold wallet it is not possible and you have to sell the tokens that Revolut are more than likely using for their own staking or loans. This also forces you into a taxable event. Tgis is not mentioned anywhere but in the fine print and if you ask their chatbot before you buy it will tell you you can transfer tolens into an external wallet. I have been lied to about being able to do that, lied to about being able to buy from another exchange with the money I had from being forced to sell the tokens I thought I had paid Revolut for because I wanted to use my tokens as an asset for a loan. I spoke to Revolut and they could see my communications with them saying I could transfer my tokens and there response was “I understand you’re frustrated” they offered nothing but more lies and have blocked me from purchasing from another platform. They are the most disgraceful company I’ve ever had the displeasure in dealing with and even though I have saved my communications with evidence of them breaching Australian Consumer laws they don’t give a damn l.
